I shot a Qual unlimited tournament 20 years ago with 3 other friends when Zach joined our squad to make a perfect four. Zach shot a field grade Beretta 390 with the recoil pad held on with black tape. Everyone had fancy UTVs to ride, Zach walked. Zach hit 98/100 first day and was disappointed with a 96 the second day. Zach was coolest, most nice humble, BEST shooter we ever met. Hands down the funnest tournament of our lives. It still comes up in our conversations occasionally how great Zach is.

Excellent. Shot for the first time at Big Sky Sporting Clays near my home in Polson, Montana.
First time hit 50 out of 100, next time hit 65 out of 100.
Lots of room for improvement. Fun in the natural settings of western canyons!

"addictive"? you don't say! I'm new and at 51 I want to sell everything i own to pay for classes and ammo to get better. How am I shooting? "sometimes maybe good.....sometimes maybe chit". 😆

Sporty clays is a lot of fun, but nothing beat genuine hunting for those “rabbits,” dove, quail, pheasants, chucker, etc…
