But since one requires skill and the other luck, they don't belong in the same category. You need to know what you're doing to beat Amon. And if you do, taking him down without taking any damage is a cakewalk. With Mahjong, on the other hand, even if you know the game well and know exactly which hands to go for, the end result is completely random. And random outcomes will always be more difficult to predict than if you're completely in charge of the outcome yourself. So if you know what you're doing, Amon is much easier, because you actually have a chance to always beat him.

the phirst phase is very hard as well without tiger drop .. the combo must be aligned to his back with precision, because amon has a tendency to move during the moviments and the camera suck.. a small mistake and he will throw you the grenades o kick your ass..

yeah, i enjoyed the video because defeating amon without take damage is really great ( tiger drop requires timing and the second phase is a shit) then compared to jimmyqballs for example he has changed slightly with some heat action with dragon style and weapons, making the video good to watch for everyone, imho.
Such a frustrating battle, took at least ten tries and two sacrifice stones for me on hard, and you make it look like a cakewalk even without the Tiger drop spam. Great work man!
It took me only 2 tries, 2 sacrifice stones, almost an entire inventory of Staminan Royals, 2 Staminan Sparks and I still think it's one of the worst boss fight I've ever done in any video game

I like the nod to the original with the reward. In the original game, you're awarded 893 points for defeating Amon, and Kiwami does the same but multiplied by 100 to be in line with its EXP system. 8-9-3 is the worst combination of cards in a blackjack game, hence the name, "Yakuza".
it was pretty fun defeating him for the first time as i had ran out of heals only to see he pulls out an aditional set of health bars and gets a 1 hit ko attack haha thanks for the strats lol
Rush style and demonfire dagger really helped with this shit. Raise heat all the way to climax mode and just spam the dagger heat action. The damage never lowered for some reason

Nice showdown, and I cheesed through him by tiger dropping all of his attack during his first phase and simply blocking everything with a weapon(doesn't use durability if you're not in heat mode) and simple sword attacks with either the lightsaber thing, the sacred wooden katana or any sword do some decent damage without feeling rly cheap, plus dodging and heat attacks.(sadly this is the closest I can get to playing isshin ;_; )
After spending all the time grinding the dragon style and all susbstories, this Amon fight is exactly like majima in yakuza 0, is easy if your spam tiger drop lol

Just dodge using the skill that can be acquired in Dragon tree. As long as you are not doing combo attacks, that dodge would always be available
