Damage control was actually written by Dwayne Mcduffie he would later go on to write some of the best episode of the Justice Leauge animated series. One episode he wrote " clash" had Superman in a battle with Shazam. In the battle superman did a lot of damage to the city. I won't spoil it but I will say it had bad consequences for the league and the story arc from that season would have serious consequences for the Justice League it's a fantastic story arc in fact that whole show was fantastic.
