At least the firemen put something on the car windows to protect their hoses.

Pros 👍
Owner doesn't deserve it, firefighters were very nice.
😂😂😂🤣
That was very courteous of them! :)
I'd love to see a video of the owners returning.....
Lol me too 🤣

The car on the roof was priceless!
I'd like to see an owner return and see the fire hose through their windows and then realize they can't leave until the fire is out and the fire crew is leaving.
Seeing owners reaction is where the fun is!
The car on its own little island is hilarious!!

@@sonnylatchstring How do you know that?

How do know it wasn’t illegally parked on private land.
I’d love to see the expressions on the people’s faces when they came back and saw the consequences of their bad parking.
Most of them have no shame or they wouldn't do it in the first place.
I remember going to a "big game" day in Berkeley, CA (I took public transit). Tow trucks everywhere and there was a large plot of land nearby where all the cars that had parked in red zones were kept. This was the mid-90s, so there were no automatic texts, notifications, or easy ways to pay the fine. You had to go to the booth in person and pay $60, cash only(about $150 in today's money) to get your car back. The place was making out like a bandit.
Love that side tow truck!
I like that it is a flatbed and no towing involved.
me too, eliminates the spindly "spider" apparatus and does a clean job, no damage likely.
I saw that a few years ago in Tel Aviv, Israel. Removed an illegally parked car next door to my hotel. Thought it was so unique I had to take a picture to show my brother who worked for a towing company back home in Canada.
The fire hose is so much fun. Perfectly legal.
Thanks for watching sir
In some places it is legal for the firefighters to move the car, damage be damned. Fool is just lucky they did not put a leaking hose connection inside the car.
@@michaeltutty1540 I'd say that's legal in all places. If the firefighters need access to that hydrant, then it's an emergency. At that point, literally no damage to property is relevant and they can and WILL damage whatever is in the way of them fighting the fire.
Stopping a fire takes priority over just about any property.
So many of these clips show people actually committing a crime. Call the cops and they will tow the car, you're not allowed to damage it just because it's badly parked.
you can in Germany AND you can make them pay for any damage to your car
a boot damages a vehicle soo your point is null
German law allows people to damage other people’s cars? I don’t think so.
That depends on where you are. If you're a visitor in a small town where everyone knows each other, your car may end up at the bottom of a lake if you piss the locals off. you can cry about crime all you want but nothing's gonna happen.
@@syrupybrandy2788Not true. Not false either.
There’s always someone who talks for money. Reward for “anonymous” tipper and such. Then it just depends if the investigator gathers enough evidence.
When the firemen hose the car I was like. I hope they put down a towel to protect the hose. Then they did and I was like hell yeah good job boys protect that hose.
At 7:01 unless you're sure why they parked over the line, don't do this. I've had to park over a line because the other car was over the line and it was the only spot, of course, if the first car leaves the next car looks like an azz so you never know.
Or...Just find a different space, where you can park properly. If someone takes two spots so that you have to take two spots as well, then clearly there IS a free spot. The one into which you are crossing to avoid the double-parker.
@@wasntme7845 Calling others fool when you're this idiotic?
Car parking is generally wide enough for one car and a bit. If someone parked atop the line, then the ONLY way someone can park next to them is if there IS a free spot, or if there are TWO cars parking across the line conveniently with a parking space between them. He never mentioned a second car parking on the line...so the fool that cannot read is you.
It's simple math. If the parking line is moved by half a car, there are only spaces for HALF a car or ONE AND A HALF a car, unless there's more than one car that independently moved that line with space between them.
@@wasntme7845the space next to the car was empty. Well, except for the guy that was halfway into it.
In Australia, the majority of fire hydrants are in the road. This means that the fire-fighters will use their trucks to push the car out of the way. In some circumstances, they will even impound the car and use it for jaws of life training. My sister has a great video of a $500,000 supercar being chopped up into small pieces. The owner was fined and charged for the towing and disposal of his car. He was also given a copy of his car being destroyed just as salt into the wound. Australian fire-fighters and paramedics have overriding authority over the police at an emergency.
Could you maybe share it ?
Yeah they have overriding authority my a$$, they can't tell the police what to do and who to arrest and here's how it's gonna go down etc, they all have a job to do and it would be counterproductive for an ambulance driver to interfere with police trying to their job and vice versa, just silly really
It doesn't matter where in the world. Firefighters can and will damage whatever property is in the way of fighting fire because stopping fire takes precedence over any ownership of property.
That being said...the extent in Australia seems to be much higher. In most other places, the car could be pushed out of the way (and impounded by the police afterwards), but using it in any way, for training or otherwise? That's way over their limits. At the moment the car is out of way it is no longer in the way of an emergency. Training is also never considered emergency. Unless there is some law that specifically gives them the right to dispose of cars of those that parked over a hydrant...they committed a crime, because no emergency laws permits anything beyond what is necessary.
@@kikixchannel Laws may be similar or initially sound identical from one country to another, but extent and severity as far as consequences go can be vastly different.
Take speeding for example. All countries have laws against it, but some places have fixed fines, some take weather conditions into account and then there are those that adjust fines based on your income. Meaning one guy may pay a hundred dollar fine, but the rich guy that was keeping up with him might pay a million.
The one where forklift blocked person in and the last one looked more like pranking the boss imo
Some seem fair enough, others are ridiculous. Just because you’ve been wronged doesn’t give you the right to damage or destroy property. As soon as you do that you’ve lost the moral and legal high ground.

Yeah it’s bad in Japan. Our friend was visiting Japan for a wedding and family reunion. He rented his college friend’s house since he was going on vacation as well. The neighbors heard the owner was going on vacation and decided to rent out his parking spots. The police were of no help even after the his friend, the owner of the house, verified there was no parking agreement with the neighbors. Our friend had to pay for 2 weeks of unexpected parking because of the entitled neighbors that made money off his friends private property.

NEVER park in front of hydrant. No excuses!
It is due to fluid dynamics why you are not allowed to park in front of a fire hydrant, not the fire departments' convenience. The water is flowing at such a high pressure, and volume, the _hoses_ need the extra room.
Thanks for watching 👍
And they could have solved this issue by having the outlet be on a side.
@@dubious6718or you could not obstruct emergency equipment
The hydrant needs to face that way because again, fluid dynamics, because then the hose would need to curve 90 degrees to reach where it very likely needs to go
@@scrambledmandible The hose is never the exact length from hydrant to truck, so it has to curve anyway.
@@dubious6718 Curving a few degrees and curving 90 degrees are two completely different thing.
You clearly have no idea about fluids, pressure or the like. Nor law. You're not allowed to park in front of a hydrant, period. Firefighters are allowed to damage property if it gets in the way of them doing their job, period.
Hydrants are old enough that if connecting it from the side would be better, then it would be connected from the side.
About the only ones I had issues with were the bike lane ones… those are more a poor design by the city since the first one had a meter and trucks have no other place to safely unload/load in cities that were originally designed for automobiles.
No city was originally designed for automobiles.
Quite a few were bulldozed for automobiles though.
@rogerwilco2 There are plenty of America cities that were specifically designed around cars. Heck, the entire suburbs were designed with cars in mind with how the roads are designed.

7:41 the tow truck is responsible for the damage on the car and on the truck behind the car he pulled. That might have started as a legally towable vehicle but ended with you owing the at person at the minimum a new rear bumper and some tires.

I live in the states & I seen first hand a fire department bust a lady’s windows in her car just because she parked in front of a fire hydrant , they put the hose right through both of her widows , water was leaking everywhere inside of her car . At the time she & some of her friends were out on the town & nobody was home & there was a fire down the street , wile this was going on the guess the fire department called the police about it & the police left her a $500 dollar ticket on her car to boot , I stayed outside until she came home that night & around midnight she came home & seen her car all messed up with that $500 ticket on it & was pissed , she was yelling & screaming at the top of her lungs , mind you people on our street was constantly telling her not to,block the fire hydrant & she did it anyway , & the sad thing about it is her car was a really nice & well kept KIA all gloss black with nice rims & tinted windows . She would park on the sidewalk as well because she didn’t want cars going up & down the street hitting the side of her car , she got a ticket for that also , some times she would park her car right on her grass on the side of her house , mind you she didn’t have a driveway & your not allowed to park in front or on the side of your house on your grass , you must have a driveway , the city sent her a letter notifying her about that , I guess you learn the hard way in life at least for her sake .

The car entombed in a solid block of concrete is really something! That's a very thick layer of concrete. How long did it take to pour and then dry! How long was the car parked there !
I suspect it drove through the freshly poured pad so the workers made sure it was really stuck😂.

Super smart to turn your tires that far and use that to push the car so you don’t damage yours.
There's a lot of nonsense (in my opinion). I'm a van driver, I do deliveries all over Dublin (Ireland) and we have to stop over traffic lanes, bus lanes, cycle lanes and even sidewalks! We're not parking or blocking anything on purpose, it's just 5-10min to actually do our job and move on. Getting inside a truck with your bicycle because it's blocking your lane seems just disrespectful.
It's called a traffic lane, bus lane, cycle lane or sidewalk for a reason. It's NOT called a parking lane or standing lane. Find one of those.

The only one that I do not agree, is the big truck. there are exceptions like moving truck companies. They cannot park it across the street or worst, in an other street. So the cycliste was in the wrong

It's illegal because it endangers the cyclists that have to merge into traffic to go around. I was once a mover and we'd have to park a block away sometimes to avoid blocking traffic. Sure we have to work a little harder but at the end of the day no one is above the law. Doing what's right isn't always easier.

0:30 fire trucks have less than two minutes of water in them, any more and they would be too heavy to drive. You park infront of a hydrant your fault. They have to get the connection to the hydrant with as few kinks in it as possible as every kink creates a reduction in water flow. so within two minutes of pulling up they have to find and connect to the water source or they run out of water. if a car is in the way, there is no time to find the owners and move it, nor to move it themselves as every second counts to get the tender connected to a water source or they run out of water and fire gets bigger.
