I once lived in a quiet neighborhood and found a Ford Expedition that I didn't recognize parked in my driveway. The neighbors on either side of me weren't home, so I hooked up a tow strap, put my truck in 4WD and pulled it out into the street. Another time I came home on Christmas Day and found a car blocking my driveway. I backed up my truck and was getting ready to hook up my tow strap when a visitor from across the street came running out and moved it. Park in my driveway, or block it, and I don't mess around. I resolve the issue myself in a few minutes.

A neighbor insisted in doing this only because our very large maple tree was shading that part of the street and it was the middle of Summer here in the house. When I was in college a friend of mine shared a house with a few roommates, and they had very limited parking in the back. Like one for each car. This being a college neighborhood, finding parking on the street was always a problem, so having off-street parking was a huge perk at the time. One neighbor nearby kept stealing their spot, forcing my friend or one of the roommates to find parking on the street, sometimes several blocks away. So they finally had enough, got one of those plastic 5 gallon buckets, and in a scheme that only college students would think of, made that the communal toilet until it was filled up. For days, 4 guys pissed and shat in that same bucket, keeping the lid on when not in use. When that bucket of piss and shit was filled near to the rim, they jimmied the guy's car door open and dumped it ALL out in the back seat. The car had disappeared the next morning and never returned.

I don’t know how it is in the rest of the USA or world, but in California the all streets are public and you can park in front of someone’s house, as long as you don’t block any part of the driveway. Patrons to a yuppie restaurant used to park in my driveway -- I used to put a plastic bag over my hand and rub my dog's crap under each of their door handles - so the first they'd know of it was as they grasped the handle... and then had to try to find somewhere to wash their hand... then I'd rub the rest into their front grill so they could smell it all the way home and until they discovered its origin and got it power washed out.

Unless you have a designated spot in front of your house, it doesn't matter if it's in front of someone someone else's spot with or without "permission". If it is their private property is a totally different situation, but if it's street side it's up for grabs unless it's legally different in your area. Second thing, that Nissan truck did what was right. It's never OK to block someone in like that. I keep a thurmite can for just such occasions. Place it on the hood light it and let it melt through the engine block.....
5:00 I've seen this clip a few times. If that guy were smart, he would have seen that crowd and his car on his way back and then taken a quick walk to the nearest pharmacy. He could buy himself some crutches or a walker and maybe a head bandage. Maybe he could even borrow a wheelchair or something like that. And then come back looking like a he really needed that spot, but simply didn't have the tags because it isn't a long term disability. Maybe make half his body drag like a stroke victim and use a walker. The crowd would have been shamed for judging a stranger and they would have had to help him remove all the paper and then load his wheelchair or walker or whatever aid he could find into the car. 2:26.....you don't need anyone's permission to park in front of their house. As long as you don't park on their property, you're good to go. In fact, in some states, it's illegal to park that close to another parked car, and the offending car could have been ticketed and towed.

I work in parking g compliance and if my employer receives a complaint about a vehicle obstructing a vehicle entrance we engage a tow truck to remove the vehicle. When we do this every effort is made not to damage the vehicle. The clip 2.30 in, imo the driver of the black vehicle has the right to park on the street even in front of someone else's property, the street is a public place and the property line will end at or even before the footpath. At the same time (certainly here in New Zealand) there is no offence for parking bumper to bumper. That being said, (again in NZ), it is an offence to park within a meter of a usable vehicle entrance, and the vehicle on the right would be causing an offence. I have in such circumstances removed the vehicle that is obstructing the vehicle entrance at that drivers expense and in thus doing enable the trapped vehicle to be moved.

2:07 I don't think this is revenge with a rented excavator. It looks like a construction site and folks parked where it would impede work. The lost dollars in delaying the schedule on a large construction project is ultimately more than the cost of replacing these cars, even if they have to replace them. I have seen police officers in New York City direct semi and trailer to drive over cars who are illegally parked. The parking regulations are there to keep the roads clear in that case for the big trucks to make deliveries. The cost of traffic and lost business makes it in the public interest to damage private property. The same if you park in front of a fire hydrant and there is a fire. Your windows are getting broken to feed the hose through.

Some of these show destruction of property which is illegal so if you damage anybody’s car that is parked on your property, you’re liable for the damages even though it’s your property. The sticky note one the guy that owns that car could sue everybody that put sticky notes on it because that can leave damage to the paint.
Yes, I agree with that guy from China. In my country, people are building their houses on their lands. So any car parked car on my property without my permission I will rent a heavy equipment to push it off my property. I don't do it to others, so I don't expect someone to do it to me.

Bout two or three times a year we have some rich jackass out of towners who like to park on our roadway due to being close to a good duck hunting area (yes we own that specific mile of road) which is the only way in and out of our farm and is very narrow. Its really only just big enough for 1 vehicle at a time without either going in the ditch by the crops or the river and has at this point 60 diffrent signs up for no trespassing or hunting. When they do park there they block our equipment and vehicles in and its not unusual for them to stay there for hours or in one case days. We have tried everything from a locked gate to concrete barriers to a 1 way spike trap and they constantly either cut the bolts on the gate or drive through our crops around the gate or even just cutting up our fence and at least once a year one of them will take potshots at our heavy equipment. 2 years ago one jackass put 20 rounds into our D9 and destroyed the motor and shot up our diesel storage tanks spilling over 250 gallons of diesel as well as shot up the front of every one of our vehicles for funsies. We did catch him and he had to pay for it but still a major hastle. We finally got to the point we now hire a towing company to come drag off the cars which has led to our equipment and now house getting shot up even more. We have also put in almost 200 concrete barriers along the whole of our land at the road side and down one side to keep them out and are digging a 5 foot feep trench this year since that didnt work either. So seeing peoples shit get destroyed for being inconsiderate assholes is fairly cathartic to me due to it. There have been many days i dearly want to go full killdozer with my D9 on their cars.
No, he does not need to repaint. Most cheap spray paint nay be removed with mineral spirits or acetone. It will need a buff and wax afterward but that is probably all.

The only “revenge” I took was to park my car in that place on the street under our tree (instead of in our garage!!!) several times. Worked perfectly!

Unless you have a designated spot in front of your house, it doesn't matter if it's in front of someone someone else's spot with or without "permission". If it is their private property is a totally different situation, but if it's street side it's up for grabs unless it's legally different in your area.
Second thing, that Nissan truck did what was right. It's never OK to block someone in like that. I keep a thurmite can for just such occasions. Place it on the hood light it and let it melt through the engine block.....

5:00 I've seen this clip a few times. If that guy were smart, he would have seen that crowd and his car on his way back and then taken a quick walk to the nearest pharmacy. He could buy himself some crutches or a walker and maybe a head bandage. Maybe he could even borrow a wheelchair or something like that. And then come back looking like a he really needed that spot, but simply didn't have the tags because it isn't a long term disability. Maybe make half his body drag like a stroke victim and use a walker. The crowd would have been shamed for judging a stranger and they would have had to help him remove all the paper and then load his wheelchair or walker or whatever aid he could find into the car. Then he could have driven away laughing.

In fact, in some states, it's illegal to park that close to another parked car, and the offending car could have been ticketed and towed.

I work in parking g compliance and if my employer receives a complaint about a vehicle obstructing a vehicle entrance we engage a tow truck to remove the vehicle. When we do this every effort is made not to damage the vehicle.
The clip 2.30 in, imo the driver of the black vehicle has the right to park on the street even in front of someone else's property, the street is a public place and the property line will end at or even before the footpath. At the same time (certainly here in New Zealand) there is no offence for parking bumper to bumper. That being said, (again in NZ), it is an offence to park within a meter of a usable vehicle entrance, and the vehicle on the right would be causing an offence. I have in such circumstances removed the vehicle that is obstructing the vehicle entrance at that drivers expense and in thus doing enable the trapped vehicle to be moved.

I'm touchy about my parking spot as well. There's a sign stating [ reserved, you will get towed.] Well, I have them towed. Then they get mad at me. Big deal. No parking means no parking. People want to do whatever they want, but if you do the same thing to them they get pissed. I'm not a fan of people to start with, so don't F with me I won't F with them.

The Miata might have been parked properly, or at least improperly through no fault of the driver. If the parking lot was covered in snow when the car was parked there, and then the snow melted (it lot is visibly wet), it's not the owner's fault that the lines were not visible.

I was delivering building supplies and the inspector parked his pickup blocking the driveway and I was on a 12000 lb forklift thought about putting the truck on the roof but I just picked it up and moved it out of the way.
Good thing you did not cause damage or any visible damage because it would have been on you and not him/her/they.

2:07 I don't think this is revenge with a rented excavator. It looks like a construction site and folks parked where it would impede work. The lost dollars in delaying the schedule on a large construction project is ultimately more than the cost of replacing these cars, even if they have to replace them. I have seen police officers in New York City direct semi and trailer to drive over cars who are illegally parked. The parking regulations are there to keep the roads clear in that case for the big trucks to make deliveries. The cost of traffic and lost business makes it in the public interest to damage private property. The same if you park in front of a fire hydrant and there is a fire. Your windows are getting broken to feed the hose through.

That's exactly what thinking they're above the laws looks like cause people don't care about blocking people's driveways and whatnot. They also think that they're better than anybody or they'd have a tiny bit of respect for other people's parking area's, but instead they don't, and look what they got in return lol 😂...I also grew up around railways and trust me, those guys operating those trains, they don't care about running people's cars over and if you're caught walking on the railroad tracks they don't care to stop and get onto people for doing it cause 20 years ago the guys that work for the railways to make sure the track is safe for the trains, I thought theys going to kick my butt for just walking on the track cause it's hard to hear a train when a busy road is beside the tracks cause you can't hear a train coming up behind ya and that's why they were so hard on me... I've never, and will ever, walk the track again lol...It was 1 of those 10hr nonstop work days and I didn't feel like getn a whippin to add to how tired I was just trying to get home lmao

That bloke making life difficult for a guy parked outside his house was on shaky ground. One can normally park in a public street - you don't own the bit that happens to be outside your frontage. People get prorietorial about it, but they have no actual rights. The parked car wasn't blocking access. All the others looked fair enough :-)

Some of these show destruction of property which is illegal so if you damage anybody’s car that is parked on your property, you’re liable for the damages even though it’s your property. The sticky note one the guy that owns that car could sue everybody that put sticky notes on it because that can leave damage to the paint.

Bout two or three times a year we have some rich jackass out of towners who like to park on our roadway due to being close to a good duck hunting area (yes we own that specific mile of road) which is the only way in and out of our farm and is very narrow. Its really only just big enough for 1 vehicle at a time without either going in the ditch by the crops or the river and has at this point 60 diffrent signs up for no trespassing or hunting.
When they do park there they block our equipment and vehicles in and its not unusual for them to stay there for hours or in one case days. We have tried everything from a locked gate to concrete barriers to a 1 way spike trap and they constantly either cut the bolts on the gate or drive through our crops around the gate or even just cutting up our fence and at least once a year one of them will take potshots at our heavy equipment. 2 years ago one jackass put 20 rounds into our D9 and destroyed the motor and shot up our diesel storage tanks spilling over 250 gallons of diesel as well as shot up the front of every one of our vehicles for funsies. We did catch him and he had to pay for it but still a major hastle.
We finally got to the point we now hire a towing company to come drag off the cars which has led to our equipment and now house getting shot up even more. We have also put in almost 200 concrete barriers along the whole of our land at the road side and down one side to keep them out and are digging a 5 foot feep trench this year since that didnt work either. So seeing peoples shit get destroyed for being inconsiderate assholes is fairly cathartic to me due to it. There have been many days i dearly want to go full killdozer with my D9 on their cars.

No, he does not need to repaint. Most cheap spray paint nay be removed with mineral spirits or acetone. It will need a buff and wax afterward but that is probably all.
