@@igoonx15 I agree, I think there’s a lot more to the game we aren’t actually seeing, like the Dimitrescu’s past, the Beneviento’s past, Moreau & Heisenberg! Imagine meeting that same beast, on a raining night, hearing his growls and seeing his red eyes glowing from the distance. Instant unforgettable and terrifying moment. The fact that this game only takes place at daytime is a huge missed opportunity to set some really spooky atmospheres and encounters.
I actually really liked that it was mostly during daytime, cause usually light = safety, and so it was a really unsettling dissonance. Plus in the light you could see the monsters in better detail. Super unsettling
The fact that most of it took place in the day made the dark sections extra terrifying. The one element you're used to seeing is now taken away and you have to rely on sounds for whatever horrific monstrosity is headed your way

Yeah. They look like more of a wolfman (like the universal movie) just a more fucked up version. That being said it would've been cool if a big wolf enemy was a thing like the werewolves from movies like The Howling or Dog Soldiers
They look like the wolf men in the Wolfman remake with Benecio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. Terrifying...
@@pop000690 wow, I said the same thing about the Wolfman look without seeing your comment.
@@DonYoGi8331 Don't worry about it lol but yeah you're right does look like the Wolfman remake version with Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.
The design for the werewolves look completely ridiculous it’s really stupid
Popped this alpha dog with 3 shots from the magnum...I won't lie, he jumped me and my heart was on the other side of the room waiving at me.
What difficulty? Apparently 3 rounds in casual, I played in in standard and used a mine and 3 magnum rounds. Waiting a bit for a second round in a harder difficulty!
@@guywood4955 I killed em in VoS difficulty with the infinite STAKE magnum...good stuff
@@hussamkj403 hahaha yeah I'm thinking about doing that, I hope I have enough points left to get the infinite ammo! But what is the STAKE? It's a different magnum than wolfsbane? Sorry maybe its a stupid question 😅
@@guywood4955 It is a different Magnum than the wolfsbane and far more powerful:
Stake power 4500
Wolfsbane power 3300
Stake Max bullet 28
Wolfsbane max bullet 7
Stake have much much faster reload and fire rate. No contest!
@@hussamkj403 And where and when can you get it? If I'm gonna even try Vos I have to be prepared ahahaha. Thanks for all that info mate!
for those who get confused with the names in the game like:
Vârcolac=Warewolf
Moroaică=Ghost, Vampire, (dead person)
Uriaş=Giant
Cadou=Gift
Ciorbă de legume=Vegetables soup
Sarmale de porc=Pork Cabagge Rolls
Tochitură de pui=Chicken "tochitură" (tochitura comes from the ,, tochi-topi.. verb "a topi" which means melted"slow frie meat in fat")
Lei (romanian currency)=Lions
Yeah, but in folklore, varcolac is usually more vampiric in nature. It's not a werewolf.
But the Lei has a wolf on it?
@@jonathancampbell7798 You mean a Vrykolakas close word, but it's actually the greek version of a vampire, the romanian Vârcolac is a werewolf.
@@jonathancampbell7798 Varcolac / Pricolici is Werewolf in Romanian. Vampir is Vampire.

Jacksepticeye fought the beast before fighting Monroe, but couldn't figured out where Luiza's treasure was. So he skipped it.
Yeah i watch jack skip that too.
He fought both. Hisenburg tells you to go back to that spot first (most probably because of the ancient wolf best) But he never did figure out where the treasure was.
Pewdipie gave up finding the treasure as well

Fighting this guy on village of shadows is BRUTAL
Man I'm not doing that till I get unlimited magnum
What guns you using? VOS. is the same as proffesional on RE5? 😁 its not that hard once ypu get unlimited ammo for the right guns and is possible in 2 playthrus
@@killerh8te237 used unlimited ammo wolfsbaine for hardcore speedrun but playing shadows without unlimited ammo. Still have the dragoon and stake though.
Ehh wolfbane isnt one id use i have the stake as well its strong and shoots faster than other mangums would plus you dont want one that is strong but shoots real slow wont help in a horde during certain parts
I had the pleasure to fight on Village of Shadows on a fresh game, mean8ng hardly any ammo and took most of it away. Was a a fun run.
I think the devs put the romanian names of things and beasts in the game to mess with people. I've had a lot of fun watching youtubers trying to pronounce and figure out what they mean.😂
Btw Vârcolac = werewolf, Cadou = gift, Uriaș = giant etc. also really enjoyed the game.
@@SeyrenLA Same with french, cadeau ( pronounced kado ) . That word has latin roots

Completed the game 4 times and did not know about the key in luizas necklace. Thank you. I always sold it.
I accidently figured it out in my third playthrough, didn't even open the chest on lone road for those playthroughs but I frustratingly tried everything else before I found out lol
Ironically I only learned about the key out of dissapointment XD. I was so let down by the fact that that was all that was in the box I examined it in anger only to see I could remove the crystal.
You can't sell the necklace though. It's categorized in the "keys" section until you actually take off the stone and key. Once the key is removed you can then sell the stone and necklace.
The Ancient Beast gives me major "Ed..ward?" vibes.
LMFAO NOOO🤣
11yo me should have never seen that episode
T^T
Nina?
at first I thought it was Elena's father still alive and fully transformed
I think it is
@@attackontitanfollower nope. It's the leader of the Valcorac. Elena's father was simply a Lycan.
To create a Valcorac you need to to inyect blood from a wolf into the spine of a Lycan, so it can't be Elena's father
Me too
I really hope we would have a DLC for this game, it would be amazing if we played as Elena before Ethan arrived in the village or any other character.
It such a good game, although some people didn’t like it I think it’s pretty good.
Oooo, kinda like the End of Zoe DLC from RE7! I loooved that DLC, it’d be fuckin awesome if we got to see a snippet of what life was like before this, but we do get a small snippet of the Castle Dimitrescu’s past in the Maiden Demo.
@@clownrat5759 yeah, I think this game needs a DLC to wrap up everything like you said similar to the end of Zoe.
Or when you can accept Karl's invitation to kill Miranda!! That would be sooo cool
@@igoonx15 I agree, I think there’s a lot more to the game we aren’t actually seeing, like the Dimitrescu’s past, the Beneviento’s past, Moreau & Heisenberg! I think we need a DLC to see more of these characters, especially Alcina since she was only a fraction of the entire game, but she doesn’t really count I suppose since she did get the Maiden Demo.
@@clownrat5759 we got few things about them, i would love to see more of them tho, but yeah i agree the game as a whole is really amazing but it lacks some explanations, that’s why i want a dlc.
To me, Capcom killing off the remainder of the villagers too soon was kinda disappointing. I really felt a connection with Elena, at least, and Luiza and that drunk guy also showed promise. Anyway, if Village ever gets a reimagining, I want Elena to have a bigger role.
This! It would’ve been interesting to learn more about the characters but no they died within like two seconds of Ethan meeting them :,(
Elena yes. The drunk guy not so much 😂
TF you mean a reimagining 😂 bruh shit just came out a few years ago, and it'll most likely never get a remake anyway
I dunno why, but the way the Varcolac (Werewolf) looks like it's been shot with arrows.. That reminds of the Mor'du From Brave.
I don't even play this game but I like these kind of videos
It's a fun game

Imagine meeting that same beast, on a raining night, hearing his growls and seeing his red eyes glowing from the distance. Instant unforgettable and terrifying moment. The fact that this game only takes place at daytime is a huge missed opportunity to set some really spooky atmospheres and encounters.
I moreso like the fact that the entire game basically took place in a single day, from when Ethan arrived in the village, to the end.
The whole games supposed to be about 24 hours the way they wanted the story it needed to be day for apmost the whole time
I actually really liked that it was mostly during daytime, cause usually light = safety, and so it was a really unsettling dissonance. Plus in the light you could see the monsters in better detail. Super unsettling
The fact that most of it took place in the day made the dark sections extra terrifying. The one element you're used to seeing is now taken away and you have to rely on sounds for whatever horrific monstrosity is headed your way
I agree seeing one of these things at night would be really scary especially with its human like face and glowing red eyes 👀
I like how they put spears sticking out of it. Like so many have tried to kill it before but failed. It’s a nice touch
Maybe some of the villagers saw it before the other lycans arrived at the village and tried to kill it but failed 😕 just a theory
I pulled out the magnum for this guy. Trust me I had to
The first time and only time, I needed to bust that puppy out.
I gave him 7 shots on hard mode and it didn’t die
@@macmiller9510 Body shots or headshots? Because even a basic ass Wolfsbane can drop the normal version with three shots to the head in hard mode.

Looks like Leonardo, Elaina's father. Can kinda tell from the hair on his head, grey and such.
"The Vârcolac was created through the Cadou experimentation that created Lycans while adding wolf blood into their spine which ended up in making their appearance a more animallistic one." Resident Evil wiki paraphrasting Moreau's Diary of Experiments. So this can't be Leonardo.
@@TemariNaraannaschatz Moroaugh could have done this after the house gets burned down, because he was a Lycian.
@@desmondcoppin591 Ethan Winters running wild in the city, killing Dimitrescu and meanwhile Moreau has nothing better to do than go and collect a burned lycan to make experiments?
Also he's the alpha and has spears stuck into him, even though Ethan is the only one left to fight and doesn't use spears.
So it's most likely that Leonardo burned with the house and the Vârcolac just went there later after you were busy fighting Moreau.
I think he's hank from detroit become human.
@@desmondcoppin591 Varcolac was one of moreau and miranda's experiment in finding a suitable vessel for Eva. When miranda got Rose, there's no need for another experiment, that they already know is going to fail. Also, Varcolac need a week to fully transform, RE8 is supposed to be only around 1-1.5 days.
My theory is that the alpha creature could be Elenas Father
Like jack baker hell no
How would u explain the spears?
The Varcolacs were manmade experiments created by Moreau by injecting Cadou with wolf blood... So sorry, that can't be Elena's father
@@PhilipId it mean that elana father is kind of valcolac. Not that valcolacs origin. He is there on elena yard house tho
@@yansaster4951 no he isn't lol. A Lycan doesn't turn into a Varcolac lol. The Varcolac is a Lycan with a Cadou who got injected with Wolf's blood. Moreau were the one making Varcolacs in a attempt to find a suitable Vessel for Eva. Mother Miranda already had Rose, why would he made another Varcolac? Not even mentioning that it takes a week to transform a Lycan into a Varcolac... RE8 happens in the time span of a single day. So nope, the Varcolac Alpha isn't Elena's father. All the lords experiments(except Heisenberg) were halted when Miranda got Rose, she already had the suitable vessel she needed.
