Since this is your 2nd slide out is there any places you feel like you could go thinner wood to save weight without compromising the integrity of the unit?
Great job, looks nice! One question for you. In my use case, maximum drawer height is a concern because I'll be holding a cooler on my sliding drawer. I noticed that your cross beams were vertical. Is there any effect on load bearing by rotating the beams on my frame horizontally (where possible) to save some vertical space?
Yes, I can raise the bed and access the back side of the storage space. I attached my drawer frame to the back side of the partition that separates two inside drawers under the foot of the bed from the storage space. If that makes sense
Good job sir and thank you for sharing
Thank you, I appreciate that. You’re welcome, I hope it was helpful.

Nicely done! Would you be willing to share the approximate cost of this project?
When drawer is slid out does it get too heavy? Would you need to add a leg under for support while drawer is out?
Not too heavy at all. The slides are heavy duty and hood the weight well.

I don’t think there would be an issue with load bearing, if I understand the question correctly.
Is that storage space accessible from the inside of the rv bedroom? If so how can I secure it?
