They probably didn't want to play anyways, so they canceled and blaming it on that surcharge. I do like pearl jam though. I think their music was/is great.
I saw just about all the top bands of the 80's back in the day. Never had to pay more than $20 a ticket. Now to watch a pay per view of a band is $135+. Forget about live shows

I went to their concert recently. Had great seats and paid UNDER $300 for two seats.

I've paid under $300 for two tickets to see them in Melbourne this year.
I paid over 400€ for 2 Tickets for the upcoming Concert in Berlin.

They weren’t wrong about Ticket Master , but they had no chance winning that fight . Gutsy but not the smartest thing the band ever did.
Creators of music should create a cooperative system and manage all performances. Get rid of the parasitic "promoters"
