Watch David from Georgia use this efficient, portable, diamond-finding machine he designed and built to find genuine, USA diamonds at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park. He operates and explains it while he has it set up on the North end of the Crater's diamond search field with their iconic, old, Mine Shaft Building in the background. Here is a link to a companion video. These two men are friends with different designs on how to efficiently find diamonds. I think you will like this video, too: • The Automatic Sarucca ...

Simply a hand powered trommel - a common Gold mining tool.
Trommels come in all sizes, from 6" to over 6' in diameter and usually engine powered with pumped water to wash the gravel. The internal helix (an inside-out wood screw looking set of spiral ridges) has to be used because his trommel is set-up on the level -- whereas almost all others are set up with a gentle slope to move the 'oversize' rock through.

I went there, found a couple of small diamonds. Near where this guy propected. When you go look around, You are digging in a hole that had been dug into for many years, plus this is a tailings pile. You need to go up on the top of the hill or in the woods. Behind the building to the south are the old separator wheels, this is where the tailings came from. When we were in he office checking our finds a couple of guys that had been prospecting in he woods came in with some good size finds. We went there to have fun. We also went to Colorado and found gold in two streams, and a lot of lead and copper mines up above Leadville.

@@FluidMotionEnergy well I'm sorry to inform you (and I overall agree with you on this) that there are serious talks and preparations being made by different companies/people/governments regarding their plans and intent to begin industrial-scale mining and drilling on the moon. Some preliminary tests shown positive results regarding their ideas of the exact techniques and equipment they are planning to use, as well as actual samples of moon material that suggest there are large deposits of various desirable/useful elements that they hope to be able to mine successfully. They've also been trying to figure out the best (best in their eyes, I'm sure, which means the least expensive) method to safely house and sustain the necessary workers while automating as many systems as they possibly can, to reduce that number of real workers needed. But I think the biggest hurdle/snag they've encountered is deciding what exact person or nation can lay legitimate claim to the mining rights/deeds of a particular plot of lunar land, since it is ON THE MOON after all, as well as deciding who has the authority/right to decide who the person is, that will making those determinations/decisions regarding those "lunar mining rights". It just sounds like a shit show of various governments and big businesses all whining about each other while also trying to bully each other, in essentially a nightmare beurocratic dick-measuring contest, in which everybody ends up pissed off and unhappy at the end lol

There is gold to be found in almost any river in the mountains and at the base of the mountains where the rivers start to slow down and pool at the lower elevations. It's also in the ground if you know what type of rocks and quartz to recognize because the quartz forms with gold veins.

@@genuinediamondsinar3253 ---- that's so cool. It's crazy how gold and diamonds are both not rare, yet with diamonds, their value comes from market manipulation.
De Beers controls the majority of the world's diamonds, except for the Russian mines, so they limit the diamond availability for the higher grades, and the thing about gold is that, even though there is modern gold mining going on, the majority of the gold that is in people's possession, like the gold that kings and queens and countries own, is the same gold, physically the same gold that ancient rulers and royalty owned, that Vikings pillaged, that was used to pay for wars and for marriages, that jewelry and coins were made of that Pirates stole.
It just gets melted down and turned into whatever is the best way to keep it stored. It doesn't rot, it doesn't change with age, it doesn't corrode, or rust or go through any chemical changes like oxidation. It's pretty much the perfect natural product.

Time at the park is limited to 8AM to 4PM. We try to wash as much as we can and concentrate the heavies during that time. We take our centers home, let them dry, then look through them. That is when we find the diamonds---not while the meter is running on our time at the park. We can find diamonds inside on a rainy day. That always makes the day brighter when you find them.

that portable wash plant he made is Awesome! now, if he where to make a mechanical Saruka platform that took the weight of the Saruka itself off of his arms and allowed him to work it with minimal effort even more so than already. bet he could run all day for weeks with that set up there haha... its something ive noticed though, that the Saruka step is still very energy intensive, and a bit hard on the back if leaning over a tub. i havent found the most efficient or comfortable height for using it yet, so i wanted to build something that could support the weight and mechanically do the motions for concentrating for the Centers, but also do more bulk processing to remove as much of the silt as possible...

@@davidmcbrayer6458 thats awesome hehe, good luck indeed. so, allow me to mention my thoughts on the device that could be built. so, it would have a platform, set at just the right height for the material to be in the water, but not too deep. could be adjustable too. the platform would have a ring like bearing and "stop-points" where you could use to turn it the 90º one your line of material is made. then, with a connection point on one side woudl be a rod arm or piston arm on a type of gear increase, or reduction, depending on what works to properly make the heavies move to the center. i figured the way i do it, its maybe 4-5 shakes of the sides per second or so. though i dont know how much force is required to move the material properly, but that could be experimented on with prototyping. then, the platform itself could have a mechanism to allow the shaking to flatten the material. maybe just a couple of posts set in the ring bearing, that wont come out while the screen is being "rocked" but will easily come out once you are ready for the drain and flip. so, with those ideas in mind, ive been looking for some one to help design and build one i could use in the normal wash basins at the park, or could be modified to suit your mobile stations too. =)
