Genuine Diamonds in AR
United States
Приєднався 21 лют 2018
I want to share with you the latest news about the genuine diamonds that are being found in southwest Arkansas and teach you what I know. I am literally THE GUY who wrote the book on diamonds in Arkansas. I have also had numerous, magazine articles published on the subject. When my article, "Hunting For Big Diamonds In Arkansas," was published in Gold Prospector Magazine's gem issue, they put a photo of me on the front cover. I find genuine diamonds at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park. I have found 176 so far. This park has white (clear), brown, and yellow diamonds. My two largest ones weigh over two carats each. The yellow one weighs 2.04 carats and is still in its uncut, natural form. The brown weighed 2.13 carats when I found it, but I had it cut to a gorgeous, 1.21-carat marquise. I also host a professionally produced DVD called, "How To Find Genuine Diamonds in Arkansas." You can download the eDVD from our website for immediate viewing. www.DiamondsInAR.com
We Are Exposing The Side Edge Wall Of The Diamond-Bearing Intrusion At The Worthington Diamond Mine
I have never heard of anyone doing this before! But we are digging away the clay country rock next to the volcanic intrusion at The Worthington Diamond Mine. We are located less than 1/2 mile outside of Southwest Arkansas' famous Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Eons ago the diamond-bearing, volcanic lamproite burst to the surface at speeds estimated to be twice the speed of sound (Mach II). It formed a funnel-shaped intrusion. The edge has to be somewhere, and we have found it. The clay the volcanic material just missed is on the left in this video, and the diamond-bearing lamproite is on your right. We are excavating the worthless clay to expose the ...

The first diamond he ever found was a perfect, lovely 34-point (over 1/3 carat), white macle. Macles are naturally flat, triangular-shaped diamonds. They are very rare, special, and unique. With a start like that on diamond finding you can really get hooked an...

What Book/dvd are they referring to?
Thank you for asking. I am the author of the book, "Genuine Diamonds Found In Arkansas." It is now out of print and available only as an ebook download through our website. The DVD is one I host titled, "How To Find Genuine Diamonds In Arkansas." A copy can be mailed to you or you can download the eDVD by visiting our website which is www.DiamondsInAR.com
They better be careful with De Beers cartel lurking. Probably why they don't sell them.
Her mother was my third grade teacher at Lee Elementary. She was my favorite always enjoyed seeing your dad come and show us some of the diamonds he found.
That is wonderful! Thank you for sharing that with us, and thank you for watching this video.
What an amazing collection!
Yes, and he earned and worked for every one of those 200-plus diamonds. I am glad you can appreciate it. Thank you for watching this video and for commenting.
13:06 You can see the octahedron shape on that diamond, I’m surprised they registered it. Although I guess they registered David Andersons B.U.D. Out of the 24 diamonds I have found, one had half the diamond octahedron shaped and the other half resorbed. (They wouldn’t register it) There was another that had the wrong texture because it was too frosty. But was very clearly resorbed. (They wouldn’t register that one either) I can understand more why they couldn’t register the frosty one but my octahedron diamond shows very similar characteristics to B.U.D. With lots of trigons on one face of it. At the end of the day it is what it is, but I guess I’m not happy that 2 of my diamonds they won’t register. The more and more diamonds that I see get registered with these same characteristics, just makes me think that the reason they won’t register them is because I’m kinda a nobody to them, or because it’s not a news worthy diamond. Mabye I should just give up on this, I don’t know. I’m still going to be going back and finding more diamonds, but this just annoys me.
That is sad. I have found an octahedron and a frosty diamond. I got both of them registered. When you plan to return to the Crater, please let me know. I will go with you and argue for you. We WILL get them registered. I understand how they have to be careful. Some people have brought in diamonds from Africa to register. Yours are not. Write me when you plan to head back to the state park. My email is usadiamonds@yahoo.com
@@genuinediamondsinar3253 Thank you, My next trip down isn’t until the last week in October. I will email you as many good pictures as I can get, so you at least know what you’re fighting to get registered.
@@spencerr5254 That is a great plan! I will work with you. Not coming until late October is brilliant. The heat index here now is 105. I like late October here MUCH better.
@@spencerr5254 Where do you live? Have far is your drive?
@@genuinediamondsinar3253 I live in Wisconsin, it’s a 15 hour drive
That's my dad!! I love looking at all the diamonds he finds. The 35,000 diamond he got to name and he named it "Leo" after his first Grandson ❤
I like your dad. I know Scott well. I have seen photos of him with Leo. I tease him that I can tell they are related because their hair was exactly the same in the photo. We joke with each other a lot. Did he ever show you the photo of me down on my knee proposing? I think he just wanted my diamond.
Thumbnail ring reminds me of a masonic eye. It’s nice.
Yes, I think so, too.
Too much background noise to understand you.
Yes, I agree. I am sorry, but I had no control over the crowd that was there to see the diamonds at The Prospector's Gemboree held at the state park.
Lowe’s is a long trip, but you can always order online!
Yes, thank you. We are planning to drive to Hot Springs early next week to show a Crater diamond to a customer anyway. So, we'll just pick up another gallon then.

Very nice
Thank you, we felt honored to be interviewed by you and to be part of the exhibit! We look forward to many more opportunities like this one! 😊
Thank you so much for the interview. We enjoyed talking with you!
You did a great job! And I'm grateful to you that you were not camera shy and granted me this interview. People love to see what you two have found at the state park.
i would line a closet w/those slabs, & wainscote a wall w/ them, w/ a coat of clear stain/varnish, just cuz i like the look of em:)
A man had a lot of cedar trees on his acreage. He cut a lot of them down and took them to my 82-year-old neighbor who has a saw mill. He made the round logs square and cut a lot of planks for him to use inside his house. The half-round, outside slabs were left over. They have a lot of bark on the bottom sides. We felt this was the best use for them for now. I would love to have some cedar planks for inside the house. Maybe someday.
Stick a pole down in there I think it's a giant cavern
It’s probably a bore hole from a few years back when a company came in and did some exploration drilling for commercial diamond mine feasibility.
Yes, maybe so. I have a map that shows where all of that was done as well as some trenches they dug for sampling. I'll have to check. Thanks for the suggestion.
much better! good idea
Thank you so very much! My wife is full of good ideas, and she helped me do the work. We were both out there in the heat sweating together to get this job done.
Rope and camera. Lets see how deep and wide it is. Could be 2ft wide or a cavern.
I would love to get in there with a light and camera. I can't get permission to go past the safety barricade. I hope and plan to be there to video them digging it out whenever the state park finally decides what they are going to do. Thank you for watching my videos and for commenting. Stay tuned for updates.
Your property is beautiful ❤.

@@EvelynJoy I'm glad you share and appreciate the joy of growing your own fruit to eat. You know it is organic and pesticide free. Home grown tomatoes are the best, too.
The water parks are fun. We traveled when extreme heat alerts were highlighted. Basically we enjoyed the Waterpark more.
Yes, this is a great alternative to the hot, diamond search field. Thank you for watching, and I appreciate your comment.
It could be a diamond tube
Maybe so!
That's where the big diamonds are. They have all been washed into that hole. 😅
I'd be checking there first.
Couldn't sleep last night thinking about that sinkhole FULL of 💎💎💎. I'm 40 miles away and have never been digging until last night in my dreams. I was so rich! I should probably head on over there. Love your videos.
Yes, you really should go to the Crater of Diamonds soon. Today would not be a good day. It is supposed to rain all day. Tomorrow it will be muddy, hot and humid at the park. This Friday and Saturday look nice. I hope you will go. Conditions will be ideal for finding a diamond on the surface. You can also see if all of these recent, heavy rains have made that sink hole bigger.
There was a mine there back before the state got a , so who knows what has been done there . I have always lived here not to far away but never been there .
The sink hole is nothing new for Arkansas , I have seen many of them in my life time . But have never been to the park so I know nothing about it . But it stands to reason that if there is a mine shaft under ground , Then that is probably going into a shaft . Just my guess .
No one has dug under there. This is natural, underground erosion and the overburden finally collapsed into the cavity.
Isn't that where they pulled up a tree a few years back?
No, that was to the southwest of that spot.
Well, it should be easier to find diamonds now on the surface at the state park 😂
Yes, you're exactly right. The hard rain washes the silt away and leaves the heavier/denser diamonds sitting exposed on the surface. It rained there again this morning about 7AM.
There must be a cave under the sinkhole area. I would open it further and rope into it and explore the cave. you never know what you will find.
Maybe that is what the state park will choose to do. Time will tell.
Send a camera down there first
Maybe the state park will. I can't go past the barrier or I would. Thank you for watching my video and for commenting.
Exactly
Don't fill it in yet. It needs explored first. There might be something interesting to find
Yes, I agree with you. I hope that is what the state park will do.
That's beyond awesome. Thank you for sharing!
I am glad you think so, too. I have been going to this unique, state park since 1978 and have NEVER seen this before. Thank you for watching my videos and for commenting.
Need a cave person to rope in there and map it out. May be some interesting stuff in there/
IF the park would allow someone to go in there, all they would see is the roof of the cavity that has dropped down. They really need an excavator to dig it all out and see if there is a cave of amethyst there. I hope and plan to be there with my video camera when they dig it out.
@@genuinediamondsinar3253how about a snake camera first. Try to find out how much if any it expands and how deep? Waiting for government to do anything it will probably be years.
That's a holl to the big one
I think there is a huge amethyst vein down there, and maybe some diamonds, too. It's be nice for the Crater to bring all of that up and spread it around for us park visitors.
I’m curious, are there diamond digging guides available for hire? Like a fishing guide but for diamonds? And if so how would I get in contact?
No, the state park does not allow that. The best you can do is watch UA-cam videos produced by people who have found diamonds and learned what to do.
Please join me in this short video to learn how you can find genuine diamonds at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park. I will show you how to use a set of stacked screens and a round screen called a "sarucca." You can order a set of these screens through our website and use the bottom (finest) screen as your sarucca. This will save you a lot of money by not purchasing it separately. This tool is a must-have item for isolating diamonds out of the rest of your gravel. But you must learn how to work this special tool, and I show you that in this video. ua-cam.com/video/ISIlxqC7rG4/v-deo.html
Diamonds are found evenly distributed through the entire, 37-acre, lamproite, diamond search field. HOWEVER, when the park plows their field (as the just did) AND we get hard rains (as we just did), the erosion will naturally concentrate the diamonds in the drains and ditches. Most fishermen will not reveal the location of their most productive spot to catch fish. Likewise, most diamond miners at The Crater won't tell you where they have found most of their diamonds. I WILL! If you will watch this video, I will even show you the spot and tell you why I like it. I have found 177 diamonds so far. Most of them were found in this area. ua-cam.com/video/nxkviJJrkmM/v-deo.html
I really enjoy the night videos with UV flash light. Here in West Virginia, we are getting a lot of rain

what a beautiful snake! I especially love reptiles and this has to be one of the coolest I've seen :)
I am glad you got to see it and enjoyed it. I thought the head was especially fascinating. I think copperheads are lovely, but I don't like to be surprised by them. One time I was picking up my pile of picks and shovels at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. After picking my last tool up off of the ground, I saw that my hand had been reaching right next to a copperhead the whole time. Fortunately, it was a cool morning and it was moving slowly. I got to moving, too, but no one would say it was slowly. Thank you for watching my videos and for commenting.
Where is this?
It is called. "The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children's Museum of Kansas City." The address is: 433 E Red Bridge Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131-4038. I loved playing there all day with my four grandkids.
Wheres this at?
Tell him I'm catching up with him.
I will do that if you will continue to do that.
I dont like snakes but that is a pretty snake. As long as they stay away and do there job to take out the other snakes they are safe.
I totally agree with you on every point. Thank you for watching and commenting.
King snakes and black snakes are both good to have around
Yes, I have seen both around our diamond mine. I've also seen copperheads and rattlesnakes. Thank you for watching my videos and for commenting.
When I was down there, it was crazy how many other visitors were from Wisconsin like me. There was one busy day and I’m not joking every person at the wash tub my dad and I were at was from Wisconsin, funny how that works.
Ha! That is funny. I know some regular diamond finders that drive down from Wisconsin. Thank you for watching and commenting.
