Impressed, you are one curious dude, keep with your instincts. If you got your super smart phone, landmark your finds. Now that your focused on what a diamond looks like, including the weird looking ones, to take a physical break, do a walking survey of the land, looking for surface diamonds, walking parallel to your foot prints. Diamonds are like gold, they register if we have trained our minds eye as to what to see!
The only way to find diamonds at the craters in arkansas is after a rain walking the surface or hoping you find what they seeds "throw out" when the parks closed!!!!!!!
I know someone that screened gravel and found a gold wedding ring there. Natural gold, I am going to say no however, it is remotely possible that a few pieces of gold could have been transported to the surface by the magmatic eruption.
Yes Roger, I thought the same thing. The original "miners" out there were farmers and likely used whatever they had available. The bucket failed because it was too weak of construction for this sort of application.
The metal bucket is from a Bucket Elevator - likely chain or linked together back in that era, today the buckets are commonly bolted onto a rubber belt. Typically they go straight up, like a elevator, and move dirt/ore to the top of the gravity mill/processing unit - these were often used in hardrock mills as well.
Thrill of the hunt my friend! Diamonds from this location are very valuable. Many have been sold as rough stones for $3,000 - $100k Some for much more.
very useful and inspiring.. success always..🇮🇩⚒️⛏️💎👍👍

Hehe, this trommel was awesome! He could process 2-3 times more material than other miners in the same amount of time!

Awesome content. Been to Crater of Diamonds. Pretty cool place!

What are the quality of the diamonds found there.
Nice find with the bucket. That video isn't in the corner on my phone! ❤️💛💚
Saweeet! That was a really neat find Ralph! Hope you have a great day brother🙌
Studied diamonds with GIA course. I wonder if a system using grease could be used to catch the diamonds.
That trommel is awesome! The Fabio hair... eh... the diamonds don't mind it. 😆
Hehe😅, we're always having a great time out there🙌
Who is that Glenn guy? Enjoyed todays show 👏👏
Hopefully he will chime in here soon.
Glenn has his own UA-cam channel. Genuine diamonds AR I think. Really knows what he is talking about. Cool dude.

A world of bucket hurt?? Never seen them words grouped in such a way??
You need a slurry cyclone.

No eletric. Keeping in line with there rules...awesome stuff.
It’s absolutely a bucket from elevator chain / dredge etc
Add a giant ziptie around a bucket to prevent buckets-lock
Interesting idea. Would the ziptie not slide down toward the tapered end?
@@ColoradoGoldCamp Use pliers and pull it tight... works well... no more locked buckets.
Any gold there?

🙌
Oh😮
I would get me a gold prospecting pan too because all the black sand in there you can find gold
Looks too light of construction for dredge bucket. I'd put my money on a Grain Elevator bucket.

I was thinking something along that line as well.
Thanks for chiming in AuMiner! Yep, this was likely a lighter duty version to feed a diamond recovery system.
Nome? Gnome is Irish is it not? (LOL)
What's the point of all this effort and expense? Imperfect and uncut quarter-carat diamonds aren't worth a lot, are they?
