This is hands down the best video on this topic that I've seen. Thank you so very much! You got right to the point, you explained this clear that anyone could understand. I just truly enjoyed your video. Thank you again!
Please make more videos on this topic. How to pick a supplier and things in the contracts you need to do or are absolutely necessary. Im trying to learn. Thank you.
Thank you yet again for a great video. Can you give a few examples of items that wouldn't need to be inspected? Also when paying the balance once manufacturing is complete, is there any proof or do you just take their word for it?
Always get an inspection. If the product is extremely simple and difficult to mess up, then you could have your contact send you some photos or Facetime you so you can inspect them that way. What do you mean by proof? Proof for what? If you get an inspection, the inspection service will provide a detailed report of their findings.
@@CrescentKao Ah- I was referring to when you said inspection isn't always necessary (5:51). In the event you wouldn't have an inspection, I suppose a FaceTime call would suffice. Thanks again Crescent!
Super helpful video! When you mention the option of paying the remaining supplier balance AFTER items are manufactured and inspected, do you mean that the manufacturer will typically inspect their own items, give me the okay, then I pay the rest? Or do you mean if we were to hire an agent to do a quality inspection, and then I pay the rest? Thanks!
Hello Katie S! Some suppliers will offer to inspect the products themselves but I wouldn't trust that option on the first order. I'd hire a 3rd party inspection company and if everything is as agreed, then pay the balance.
I have raised a dispute with a alibaba as the size of the items were different, I have included 5 images as evidence showing the measurement. I have heard stories of people not having a good experience with going ahead with a dispute??
Watching this at Whataburger and people are looking at me weird, I guess the words product and paying your suppliers is not understood the same everywhere
Is that 2.8% added to the total cost of my product & shipping? for example: if my product cost is $226 and shipping is $100, which =$326 the 2.8% is added to that total of $326?
Alibaba is having issues with processing my payment. My bank says that the transaction isn't even registering on their system. I even tried a different credit card and still doesn't work. I've made other transactions and they went through. Can Trade Assurance cover T/T?
Do you negotiate the cost of samples as well? Such as paying 30% now and 70% later? Or just paying full. Just curious especially if its an expensive sample. Thank you
You can. Everything is negotiable. You'll most likely have to have 100% up front for samples though. Samples are only like $50-150: ua-cam.com/video/4AlhsmgAJmE/v-deo.html
Between a buyer and seller who must pay the money for importation license?because i payed all charges necessary but my supplier tell me to present my importation license to get my goods and so i haven’t he told me to pay 1200$ for it.please help me
Hi there, My supplier is asking me to pay them on pay pal. when I asked her on chat, I prefer to make my payment through Ali baba she told me that the company Alibaba page is not working for some reason, even though, I could able to chat with her on Alibaba. I thought the reason for asking me to pay through pay pal could be price gouging because the price of the product they are asking is much higher than it is listed on Alibaba. Please, I need your advice. Is it safe to make money transfer out of the Alibaba web site? Thank you!
Hello. You don't have to pay through Alibaba. As long as you're using a method like Paypal/credit card where you have some protection, there's nothing wrong with it.
Hey Kao; I really liked your style of teaching us and informing us on O' mighty Armageddon Amazon thing. I just want to ask you about a product packing info. I have created my own product a "backpack", and wanted to ask if I need to sell it in a box or just a plain plastic bag. As far as I am concerned to put a backpack in a box will really be a huge burden on my product. Please advice me on how to pack my product from China. I also have a shoes coming up soon! again the same question. Thanks Matt
Hello Matt Adam, how are you doing? Thank you for your feedback and support, I appreciate it. You can package/present your product however you want. It's your product, your design. If you want to put in a box, go for it. If you want to do a bag, there's no rule against it. You just have to follow Amazon's guidelines here: www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=200243250
There's only fees imposed on the seller by Paypal. Your supplier will most likely want you to cover those fees. You can see the fees on Paypals website.
@@CrescentKao but when i pay the certain amount there is always larger end payment, lets say i send 1000$ and the end payment is 1050$ and the seller wants me to pay antoher 4-5 % fee, that means at the end i have like 8-10% plus expenses

Hello Crescent, Unfortunately, This is not true at all when it comes to trade assurance! Trade assurance will never protect you as a buyer, it will protect Chinese sellers, we did have a bad experience with them and lost money, I would rather pay with a credit card, not a debit card or use American express through Alibaba. Suppliers will not accept Amex card but Alibaba will
I’m sorry to hear what happened to you. However, just because trade assurance didn’t find in your favor doesn’t mean it never finds in favor of the buyer.

Trade assurance, like any other option, isn't a guarantee for the buyer. They are a mediator between both parties.

Can Trade Assurance cover T/T?
Yes, but using TT only gives you one form of protection through Trade Assurance. Using a credit card or Paypal gives you a back up option.
Great content as always!
Should the PayPal account be a personal or business one? Please do let me know, thank you.
Glad you continue to find value in the content! It doesn't matter but if you have a business, you should be using separate banking accounts.
