- Right On! In this video I make a tool pouch to carry on my belt. I have been wanting to make this pouch for a while and here it is. This is an everyday carry pouch that will hole a tape measure, knife, pencil, scribe and pliers. I show how to craft this pouch out of leather show all the steps to build your own. I hope you all enjoy the video! I had a blast making it.
Thanks,
Jon Crane

Thank you for taking the time to produce this video. It answered more questions about leather working thank I ever could have imagined. I have wanted to make a tool belt for years. Now I am confident I will be able to. Thank you so much!
Literally watched this from Start to finish! Better quality than you'd buy from a shop, awesome job, plus did make me laugh at the end when you were showing the tools
Right On Dave! 😃 I really enjoyed making this pouch. I have been using it and it’s been awesome. I have some more leather working videos coming up soon. 🚀🚀🚀
@@RightOnJonCrane awesome look forward to seeing them. I just ordered a Occidental 5047 knife & tape pouch off of Amazon, which looks similar to what you made! it's going to take a few weeks as I live in the UK.
Well done. I think this will be a nice gift, especially with pockets for credit card, smartphone, multitool.
Nice work!!
Right On! 🙌Thanks Dalton! I appreciate the comment!!
Congrats.
Thanks for share it's very nice project.
Right On Alexander! 👍🏼 I use it on a daily basis now and it’s been great. Thanks for watching. 😃
Hey Jon (aka Jonathan): Really looking forward to receiving one of these custom "day pouches" for Christmas! :) What a great idea to utilize some extra leather to produce a time saving accessory (no more trips back and forth to the bench). Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next endeavors!!
Right On Jon-san! Nice to see the process. Thanks for doing these videos!
Excellent
Thank Ye kindly! 👍✨
Love the Tabla music!
Right On! 🙌 Thanks Russ! I’m a tabla player. That is a recording from My Friend Ty Burhoe 👍
@@RightOnJonCrane Great stuff - Is the recording available anywhere? I'm a percussionist, and I've always wanted to play the tabla - Ever since I heard it on Zeppelin's "Black Mountain Side" -
Talented guy ...Right on Jon , super job 🇬🇧✊🏻
Right On Jim! 👍🏼 Thanks
Cool video. Great project. Time for a post bed machine, lol. 54:43 And there’s no way you could have such accuracy with a non-reduced clutch motor. Really showing the setup now! WHAAAA! 1:00:33
Спасибо большое за мастер-класс, дружище. С приветом из России.
Very nice man! Make me one!😁
Yes! It’s been really handy! 😃 Thanks for watching! It’s great to check out your videos on the vises! 🚀🚀🚀
Hi Jon, nice leather work, I've made a few pieces myself, just love working whith leather, although saddle stiching is hard on the hand's these days, question do you get verdigris forming round the copper rivets?, as I have trouble whith that, and is there any way to stop it happening?, would appreciate your thought's , stay safe, best wishe's to you and your's, Stuart.uk.
Thanks Stuart! Hmmm I have not had any trouble with verdigris. Perhaps because I wax the leather with Sno - Seal. That gets on the rivets and probably prevents that from happening. Oxidation. I really like this little pouch. 😃
Just watched your video. You are very talented and I really like the tool layout with your design. Are these for sale yet or how can I order one?
Do you have copies of your templates that you could share?
:)
Lukas Richter Thanks Lukas!! ☘️☘️☘️✨✨✨💪💪💪
Can you make me one I could use one for sure
Right On Fred! Yes I could make you one 👍🏼 😃
How can I buy one
Right On Matt! 👍 Thanks for inquiring! Have not offered these for sale yet but will soon. I’m working on getting the process streamlined so they don’t cost an arm and a leg. I can let you know when I have some ready.
