Thanks Jesus. Good Morning! Est. U.S. Praise the King! Praise and Glory to God. God Bless. Jesus Christ, is the name of God. He lives. Praise and Bless God's holy name.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is like a healing balm to my soul. My sinful heart finds refuge in this sacrament when I hear the words of the priest as a representative of Christ that I am forgiven. Most of our separated brethren from other faiths will never understand this but I'm praying that one day they will be enlightened too and take advantage of this special grace from God.
Father, I hope you can reply this. I went for confession for 2 weeks in a row and the priest asked if I had to go that often. He also said that confession was for mortal sins and that my venial sins are forgiven during mass (I couldn’t find anything about this mentioned in the CCC). He said grace is abounding everywhere and he questioned my belief in God’s grace. He also questioned my belief in the mass. I agree with everything you have said here because this was the same catechism I was taught from young, that there’s a specific grace for each sacrament. What else can I do for this priest as a layperson besides praying for him? I know I do not have any authority over him but it pains me to see many who will be led astray...
Pray, fast and repent for the priest and yourself. Have hope and continue to confess, many Saints and Popes went to confession daily. We will pray for you and your priest.
@@andrewgarcia7513 that's what I told the priest.. I told him Pope St. John Paul II went every week. but he seemed to got angry and ignored everything I said. Thank you for your prayers I really appreciate it, and the parishes here in Canada need it. I will do just that!
I know sometimes some priests and people may think we fall into scrupulously, which no doubt can happen but no doubt get to it. Regardless of what they say. Ultimately, it is Jesus who sees heart.
Amen. May all faithful not take the sacrament of Reconciliation for granted. St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us.
A sacrament not enough priests promote nowadays.

Go to confession as often as you can. You just never know. If one can't, a Perfect Act of Contrition will suffice until you can go to confession.

10X stronger than the 1X you left him!!!!!.....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😭🙏🙏
Love this Fr
I’m always nervous before going and always draw a blank once I’m in there out of nervousness

That's sad that he would say that to you. I hope you have other options nearby.

@@organizedchaos02 thankfully there is one other priest in my region (my town is really small) so I have been going to him

You can even do a devotional confession, like for the Five First Saturdays devotion to OurLady.
