@@tjsguideservice There are a couple stocked with natural reproduction too lakes. One has a run of bigger fish than the other, and they just tightened up harvest restrictions on the more entertaining lake, so haven't fished it in a couple years (doing Fish Donkey ice contest fishing was more entertaining). We also have a big mine pit that I've only fished a couple times and never caught; crazy topo features on the mine pit, and it has smelt, and does grow some old fish. All within 15-20 miles of Grand Rapids.
Great video. Would love to hear about your camera setup and video editing software sometime. Family, teaching, guiding and video editing fishing adventures keeps a guy busy!
That’s a great idea! It would appeal to a smaller audience, but some would appreciate! I run premiere pro and my cameras are usually a Sony zv-1 with the rose wireless go II mic and then some go pros. You are right, life is definitely busy right now! All good stuff!
As much as I would love to, I don’t guide for lake trout. I only target these when I go on trips because there aren’t many places to target them close to me.
@@tjsguideserviceNot yet, but they are definitely on the list now. Mainly walleye, perch, bass, pike, some stocked rainbows. Need to get out for some lakers. That new Berkley Power Switch looks like money for vertical jigging
@@tjsguideservice Wish there were more lakes with them around ND. Will have to make a trip up north for them soon. Thanks for sharing these awesome laker strikes with us!
I foresee them sending you some of those baits after everyone now feeling like that’s their own confidence bait, too. One more video with that bait going great guns like that and they’ll start noticing…maybe. ;) Sorry about the drone man! I was devastated when I sank my first drone to the bottom of Sakakawea. Did you find it was in decent working order still?
I wouldn’t turn down a few more of those! 😉 looking forward to seeing what they do on some walleye! Very curious about their longevity though… I got my drone back! Haven’t flown it yet but 🤞that’s a killer! Assuming you didn’t get yours back? 😂
Love this man. If you're ever in Central Canada, hit me up. I'll show you some cool rainbow holes and monster pike lakes. Keep em coming TJ.
Heck yeah man! Looks like you’ve been getting into some bows! What part of Canada you in?
Fun stuff! With no snow it's been impossible to get to some of my preferred laker turf around here. Got me the fever more now. Thanks
Do you have a lot of laker lakes around you? I could fish them all winter long!

Fun watching videos from home waters.
You guys live in such a special place! Usually your tubes are my confidence!
@tjsguideservice we really do and sometimes take it for granted. Just need to stop sometimes and soak up the beauty of sunset country!!
Hey @TJ'S Guide Service, can I book a lake trout trip with you for the 2024 season?

Very cool video!! Love to see these fish chase!! All muscle!! Was this northern MN? Welcome back!!
Craig! Thanks a lot man! Got another one in the editing queue! Lake trout are the coolest! This was up on whitefish bay of lake of the woods
There you are :) Welcome back
FINALLY! Been a busy stretch! Glad to be back. Glad to see you’re still here! 😉
What screen on your live scope do you have? What color scheme is that?
I use the gpsmap8610 and it is on the blue color scheme!
Damn, them lakers hit like bricks 💪
They are so wild! So addicting! You ever get to chase them?
