Don’t know why you don’t have more subscribers than you do.. you are by far the most informative guide on UA-cam with quality information about fish, locations and mapping. Appreciate everything you do TJ, keep up the good work!
@@tjsguideservice yes sir! Unfortunately this will probably be the last week of “safe” ice for me here in Central Wisconsin.😞 Time to bust out the boat and long rods!🎣
Hey TG hear me out… They say the walleye on LOTW don’t bite at night…. I strongly disagree. Every walleye I’ve marked night fishing out there winter or summer hits the bait. Soon as the sun goes below the trees the fish literally “ disappear “ it’s hard to catch fish that ain’t there. Doesn’t matter if you’re 8 miles out or 1 mile out they disappear, sun comes up and they’re back?! WHERE DO THEY GO AT NIGHT?!?
They definitely don’t bite *as often* at night, but that doesn’t mean don’t bite at night period. With the water being so much clearer this year I think the potential for the night bite is more. In my experience, the fish are still around at night, they just go belly to the bottom so you can’t see them as easily and they aren’t quite as mobile. No data to back that up, just anecdotal evidence!
