I am 26 now..untill you start the youtube channel i never show any interest to learn cooking since that my parents and my relative always scold me...once i watch your uppuma receipe and i impress with your teaching method and i tried in my home....you don't beleive that eversince in my life that was the fantastic uppuma i tasted... whenever my mother get sick we used to always buy foods from outside while my relative always scolding me for i am unable to cook and support my family....last time my amma was hospitalized for 3 days...I am the person cooked 3 days 9 meals with your help..... now i really get interest to cook for myself and others... I add little bit of jaggery and use rock salt . I put the salt ( கல் உப்பு ) in the hot kadai after switching it off. While roasting I sprinkle little salt so that there is no pungent smell. ( நெடி)
Though most of us thinks idli podi is easy to prepare, it's not. I tried many times, but each time it gives different flavour. It's nice to see this from great chef. Thanks for your tips chef.

True but some recipes have unnecessary procedure. Watch his curd rice. So cumbersome. Simple curd rice with simple tadka with small mangoes pieces(of course during season) tastes yummy.
