Great review and valuable information. What a terrifying flight. Must have been a pucker moment the entire flight. I notice you drifting just before. I was focused on the tracks. Stevy you are outstanding.
Thank you Scott. If I could just help one person it will be worth the efforts. Yeah, the tracks tell the story. After such an intense success, a crash on the return flight.
@@CaptureLifeConnection I was really impressed with you making it through. You still should not be disappointed. That was a great accomplishment. Stevy did you ask for my drone community poster?

Thats because the standard charger is rated as Max 20v 2.25A so 45W the multi charging hub is 20V 5A so 100w. You need the charging hub to take advantage of the yhe 100W input
I like that Baseus cable. I have 100W and 65W chargers at home already, but the cable is something I will pick up. Lucky to fly that tunnel! I missed out. Until the next adventure!!!! BTW, the camera is looking extra sharp.
Link in the description 😉😆. Yeah, I’m happy with all their products. With all my equipment that 100w charger will not go to waste. Perfect opportunity. The whole time we were there not one train. The information provided was solid. Growing pains with the Sony FX30 bro. But you learn more from the mistakes. This was one of the good shots. I have to show you the new rig 🤩
I have 100w cable and not sure if my charger is 60w or 65w. And it charge my 3 batteries so fast under an hour all are fully charge. I used the 65w charger too and still the same speed of charging.
Nice! Are you concerned that the batteries are being damaged when it’s charging faster than usual? I was always worried about long-term effects to my batteries with some of these fast charging options. Especially since the batteries are pricey to replace. I wish you all the best this holiday season. ✌️😎
@@CaptureLifeConnection never had issues. As per google (well the knowledge is there) says the batteries and charger will only take the required watts to supply the batteries. The only effect is it will shorten the charging time naturally boost to fully charge in just a matter of time than other regular chargers. That's what I've noticed.
I'm using my one plus 8t 60 watt charger and it looks like it took 2 brand new batteries from 2 lights each to 4 lights each in about 1 hour. It seems to be fast charging them although the lights do not blink rapidly as to indicate they are quick charging. Also, is there a way to make the dji avata 4 battery charging hub charge 4 batteries simultaneously? It kinda suchs how it only charges them one at a time. Basically eliminates the purpose of it being a charging hub.
Actually if u think about it, u don’t want to change all simultaneously because then u won’t have any of them ready to use until almost all of them r charged. As u might know already the charger examines and picks the battery with the highest voltage first and charge that one so that u have a battery ready to go asap. This lets the maximum possible current is applied to the target battery instead of spreading out to all of them. DJI thought of all this. What u r asking is a simultaneous charger that can accept much bigger power supply so that it can charge all 4 at the same maximum speed. This will require a supply with the power of 2.4A x 120V x 4 which should *roughly* be about 1 kW to charge all in 1 hour. That’s a really big supply lol😅. Also this is way beyond the usb-c spec so this would be a different style of a charger.
Yeah, DJI has the better system by selecting the battery with the most charge. I usually plug one at a time without the hub unless I’m completely distracted with other task. In that case I would plug in all 3 batteries to the hub and deal with what I am doing. I like how they stop charging when it’s done. I could go to the market or whatever. I’m still shock how quickly the DJI FOV batteries charge in comparison to the Avata batteries 🤔. I appreciate you both for sharing your information and thoughts on this subject. Thank you 🙏
The 65W charger I speak about in the video seems to be the safest option that I have tried. It regulates the amount of power providing to the battery, which I believe will save the battery long term. Most of the fast charging chargers force feed the battery which will damage the cells. This was key to what I am speaking about in this video. I’ve noticed no difference in flight time with any of the chargers. A full battery, is basically a full battery. It’s the long term effects I was addressing.
The 100w charger is better than the 65w charger if you plan on charging the battery AND a laptop or tablet at the same time. Then, it leaves the 65w charger in the dust.
Current draw is a function of the device being charged, not the charger. In other words a 100W charger will only provide the amount of power that the charging device is demanding. The power supply will not force the device to draw more current than it needs.
@@CaptureLifeConnection It's also the new format so it's a smart connection it will talk to the requesting source and adjust the wattage to whatever that device can handle
Yes, I believe so. As long as you have the proper cable to plug into the USB-A option. That charger is listed as 86W. I might try that as well. I’m curious about the results (time wise).
@@CaptureLifeConnection I tried charging with the fpv charger, it can charge it no problem but it takes a really long time to charge it . The single charger we get with the avata can charge much faster with a steam deck charger .
The same, darkness. Once in the tunnel it was just that little light at the end. I couldn’t tell how much I was drifting side to side. My adrenaline levels were high. My instincts failed me on the way back 🤦🏻♂️😆
