hi everyone!! first, i apologize for the wonky audio in this one :((( i'm actually so sad ab it but i promise i'll work on it for my next vids!! second, wanted to let y'all know ab the content direction for this channel (since there's a lot going on hehe) i want to be a ~specialist~ but have too many interests for that so i'm thinking: - 1 fashion vid, 1 book vid, & 2-3 other bookish/life in seoul/work vlogs each month hope you all enjoy !!! thank u for being here
@@nathansnook EEP just saw this!! but tysm nathan :))) honestly our convo that first month gave me so much energy/inspo and i think i'm learning to have more fun w it!! thank yOU for existing here
haha yes about the seasons! you know, i rarely see anyone online post about organizing your wardrobe by FUNCTION. that is the only way i have ever been able to organize my wardrobe! i'm sensitive to the cold and i want to feel comfortable, so i always start with how i want to feel based on the weather or activity, and THEN i style within that. i love having storage for my "warm weather clothes" and then my "cool/cold weather clothes." It's fun to open it up when the season changes and I know the stuff in there makes sense for the weather and they work with each other. I guess it's literally a capsule that way.
yes you're SO right!! literally just watched phoebe taylor's newest vid and she talks about how "form follows fuction" is a design rule but one that would be great for fashion too and i so agree w that & your method :D i also keep my tops organized by warmth & layerability in the colder months, so my base layers/tees/sweaters/jackets are all separated! that's been helping a lot. thank you for watching
asking yourself “does this work with what i’m wearing now/wore yesterday” is actually a game changer. it’s so simple but i cant help but shop for my “ideal” self, and ive bought some things that i think are cute but never actually wear. super unrelated, but you really resemble seulgi from red velvet, especially when you smile!
yess i've totally been there!! or i buy something having one specific outfit in mind and then realize it goes with nothing else and i wear it like once a year LOL & omg that is the best compliment thank you!! :') i actually love her sm and she is one of my style icons so you made my day haha thank you for watching !!
omg I loved everything you shared - your tips are actually so solid and thoughtful for curating a functional, well-loved closet :') excited for more fashion content!
ahh thank you so much!!! i'm so glad you got some good tips from the vid & can't wait to come back with some fashion content soon hehe it's definitely a little new but exciting for me 😊
Thank you for your recommendation! Most of the time, I only see basic ideas like not buying things during trends. This is logical but still not very helpful. However, your channel feels like a breath of fresh air!
You channel just popped out on my feed 💌 never heard someone saying what I am the most advocate of: Shop ALONE, take your time to enjoy the process to the fullest. If you are a fashion lover this is part of your therapy 💌 Do you live in Soul?! I am LIVING through the moment I will board that flight to my 2 week South Korea trip!
ahhh i'm so glad you made it here!! :)) and YES I KNOW RIGHT i think the era of shopping w friends ended in late high school haha i love putting in some music and just trying a bunch of stuff on! and yes!! welcome welcome i hope you have the best time here!
i love the stuff u pointed in the video, even though style i a very personal thing i agree sm w basically everything u said, sensible tips! i hope yt recommends more content of yours, hugs from Brazil! :)
i definitely (mostly) agree!! i think you're probably responding to my recommendation to buy jeans new? i actually own a few pairs of vintage denim and absolutely love their quality but i do think it takes much more trial and error to find the perfect pair of vintage jeans as opposed to the exact cut, length, fit you want with the range of new jeans! it's all personal preference but i'm all for making shopping easier for yourself and sometimes it's investing in higher-quality denim new in the exact shape you want that will last the longest in your personal wardrobe :D

The quality of denim years ago is just way better than jeans in the market now.
