  • Are you or someone you know looking for work-trying to choose a career? Or wishing to change jobs and careers? You need this show. Did you know that the late great Steve Jobs did not follow the advice he gave to others? Should you follow what Jobs said, or what he did? How your rabbi nearly went to work for Apple. Pay much more attention to what politicians and male suitors do and have done, than to what they say. Hear what Senators Obama, Biden and Schumer said about illegal immigration ten years ago and contrast it with what they actually did more recently. The principal way in which evaluating and judging people is quite different from the way we evaluate balance sheets and bank accounts. Borrowing money in a time of rampant inflation. Does this offend you? Men are generally measured by what they do whereas women are generally measured by what they are. Happy Warriors are not tennis balls floating down the gutter of life. Get out of your gutter and master your 5Fs-all five of them. Learn about We Happy Warriors membership, join our private Podcast discussion group here: wehappywarrior...

    Most business schools and academia forget to tell you that if you want to make money, you need to FOCUS on OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS. Thank you Rabbi. Words of wisdom.

    About the steve job quote, what rabbi said is veryy true. I am one of the people that buy the lies of 'work for passion' era. And finally i got confused when i knew that the way of the particular industry is not biblical or even kosher..and also when the market change and not value my previous job that i love the most.
    Now i am on the journey to build my new path of career biblically. And rabbi daniel lapin is one of the greatest speaker that really know what he taught about.
    Thank you ❤

    Is gambling stealing? Or can I pursue that if it makes me more money than anything else available to me?

    • @rabbidaniellapin.
      @rabbidaniellapin.  2 роки тому +1

      You can pursue it as a hobby but not as your main income producing activity. It is one of the few true zero sum activities available. You only make money by making someone else sad. Find something more uplifting to do. Cordially ~ RDL

    Rabbi, I have never heard anyone criticize Steve Jobs as you do. Not even Walter Isaakson, his biographer, makes the points you do. You know how to prick thought.

    You were on a podcast recently I watched. On that podcast you were making a statement but stopped yourself short. I would like to know what you were about to say when you were stating the sentence "we Jews in total, that's self proclaimed Jews whose actually Jewish identity is presumed rather than" and you stopped.
    I am presuming one of two things and this still fascinates me so I have to ask Jews when I get the chance.
    1. You may have been referring to the way a "Jew" (of any ethnicity) lives in which they follow the actual practices of Judaism which in turn makes them Jewish.
    2. You were going to reference DNA, Genealogical or other methods that supposedly prove someone is a "Jew".
    There are Jews who proclaim one cannot be Jewish unless it is proven by DNA, the Grandmother is jewish, etc. Do you believe this? Or do you believe that Judaism is a religion and not an ethnicity?
