#Bananarama #TheWildLife
This song is so beautiful ,the 80’s was the best time to grow up..this songs bring so memories and emotions
I miss it
We only miss our youth, not the AiDieS.
Its taken me over thirty years to find this song. I was beginning to think i had imagined it
Why wasn’t this a big hit?!😮
Why wasn't it released in the UK too?
It was only released in the US for some reason, considering they had record deals in other parts of Europe etc to release it a well. Although the soundtrack was a hit though so at least that happened!
@@mikekaraoke I guess it was sort of a last minute song/release for the movie only that got lost in the way. This was right after "Rough Justice", when their popularity in the US was at its peak.
This is their best song and should've been a huge hit. The melody, harmony and slow groove are perfect. It doesn't make sense.
I agree, also love Trick of the Night it's a beautiful song.
@mysticmerman: I don't think it's their best song but it's close. I also love "Rough Justice". Both this and "Rough Justice are definitely some of their very best songs. There's also "Dance With a Stranger" from the 'True Confessions' album that is a beautiful more R&B oriented ballad, where their voices put together sound so refreshingly melodic. Overall, at least these 3 songs seem to be their best because they manage to capture pretty well the spirit of the 80's and from their own generation. Sometimes what's good and honest from an artistic point of view it's not commercially which is unfair...but life is many times unfair...
The Wild Life is my favorite song at this particular moment
Love Bananarama and I'm so glad The Wild Life got a Blu-ray release
Wild life! Greatest in the top ten 80s movies 👍!
I want to go back to 1984
I loved a pretty wild life in the 80's with Banarama, love them to this day.😊
Me as well! They are amazing!
This group was so underrated. I thought they were a total package; awesome voices, great looks, excellent stage presence.
@Brittany Nope. That would be... The Spice Girls. Bananarama isn't even in the top five female groups in world wide sales. The 90's were *very* good to female groups.
Underrated?> Eh???
@talvanuss Why do you think that?
Tip: you can make extra money by spamming the forums on UA-cam.
@Fredericka Payn Tip: always use two fake accounts when spamming UA-cam so it looks like it's a legitimate conversation.
Great movie and great song!!!! I loved Bananrama!!!! Loved their singing!!!
this should have been a bigger hit
My favorite Bananarama song.
Just bought the blue ray of this underrated 1984 classic film of the same name, Christopher Penn was CASUAL!!
GREAT VOCALS ON THIS TRACK...REALLY SHOWED THEIR TECH CHOPS ON THIS SONG...
*Should Haven Been A Huge Hit!* ⭐
Fun video and great song... ode to teen angst!
The artful photography was very 80s! 📷📷
This is their best song.
Nothing close to this good released now. 80s forever!
On that record, yes. But my favorite is on their next record, called "Trick of the Night". Check it out.
omg i just court myself singing at the top of my voice and dancing in the lounge room with my ginger cat to this. thank god the blinds are closed blahaha
So fun to be hitting my teens in this era-fun music, fun times
Long live to Bananarama, what amazing girls!!!
...good ol' early MTV...
Great track.. I remember seeing this video way back in 1984.
Siobhan's contralto voice in the chorus! Wow!!
I go around singing this chorus all the time. For years I haven't heard this song until today.
It and this video bring back so many memories.
i love that the eighties style the three beautiful always bananarama forever
these were the coolest fashion trending ladies ever,, they still look awesome timeless
All three ladies look fabulous
No one can beat these girls. They're the best.
LOVE BANANARAMA ALWAYS AND FOREVER THEY WERE THE ROYAL FAMILY FOR GROUPS LIKE GIRLS ALOUD SUGABABES ATOMIC KITTEN ALL SAINTS ETC. THEY DESERVE MUCH MORE PROPS FOR HOW SUCCESSFUL THEY WERE FOR IN THE 1980S AND 1990S.
Fun music and the fashion and hairdos very 80s love love it!!!!
I love this movie and I love this song!! somebody please take me back to 1985??? anyone???
What is the movie please?
@@johnmathis1754 The movie is also called "The Wild Life", starring Chris Penn, Eric Stoltz, Lea Thompson, Rick Moranis and many others
@@johnnystamp Thanks! Great cast.
One of my favorite movies and songs as a kid growing up in North Carolina...the movie also had Ilan Mitchell Smith in it...he was also in Weird Science...great cast ❤️
Movie script was originally going to be Fast times at Ridgemont High 2
Great track.
Definitely their most underrated single. This should have been a big hit. Love this song and video! I miss Siobhan!!
Denny:
It really should have, but it never really took off for some reason, and the movie they did it for (The Wild Life) wasn't a hit either, though. Cruel Summer was their biggest hit besides Venus, though.
@@alondathomas293 This would've been a huge hit in America for them had it been properly promoted with the movie...
I ALWAYS miss Siobhan +. The Wild Life should have been HUGE!
@Freline chart-wise, yes……but Culturally, ‘Cruel Summer” had a far bigger impact. It is considered a classic song of its genre and of the 80s in America.
This was the best song they ever did. I LOVED this song and loved the movie. Anyone who lived through the 80's should love this song. To me this song IS the 80's.
True! It just has sooo eighties atmosphere and sound, it instantly takes you back in time!
80s style and aesthetic through and through
Siobhan IS the real 🌟!
Banarama was great 🙂
The actor Michael Bowen from Valley Girl is in this movie too. Saw him on the clip. Thats great that he got two big teen movies
oh this is so nostalgic for me! I still love it so much!
Keren ♡
I love them
Stephen. Bananarama have been a decades long favourite of mine. This is my favorite
Oh Keren....your eyes at 1:20💕
Omg yess!!!
great song execelent music goood
They were underrated.
Great song 👌
Today I was reminded of this song for the first time since ‘84 while watching a Professor of Rock video! Wow this takes me back! I loved this song back then!
Dammit, Bananarama hold up so much better than 90 percent of their competition in the 80s. Still mad for Keren! 😊
My favorite movie of all time
One of my fav videos and girls !! Their style works today !!!
As was common with these theme songs, the song is only in the movie for a moment, and as background during a short pool scene. This movie was advertised on MTV and I went around quoting Chris Penn's line "It's casual," which really doesn't make any sense. I would forget about the movie and discover about a decade later after a random video store pick. I just bought it on DVD; no Blu-Ray yet.
@Freline Yep, I just got it.
Wild Life❤
One of my favorite movies and songs 80s baby 90s kid
Aaaaaaaaaaaah favvvvv
So much SPUNK xxx Perfection + The Wild Life video more than ANY Bananarama video shows Keren, Sara and Siobhan as the DIY they were xxx Such a pity The Wild Life wasn't performed on the 'Original Line Up' tour. The Dub version is THE BUSSINESS!
Fun!
This has always been my favorite Bananarama song. Had the vinyl.
Really?
Heck yeah! This wasn't as big a hit as Cruel Summer, and it was done for a movie called The Wild Life (1984) which was an unofficial sequel to Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Great song, though.
Mine too
I had the vinyl too, great song.
This is the real Bananarama for me
Oh, yeah - you were the very impetus for my feature at Facebook. Thank you! The girls look great.
バナナラマの曲では、これが1番好き。
my girlzzz!!!! xoxoxoxo 83
80s move they never talk about but was good at least to me it was
They should have been called *Pajama - Rama*
💙
Excellent channel!
That movie is what made me want to join the wrestling team in HS. That and Vision Quest.
Yep
Yep2022!!🐺🐺🐺🎉
It's casual 😎
Very cheezy 80s movie
What your mother don't know, she won't mind
Her good advice was a waste of time
You wanna live fast, cutting it fine
Make hay while the sun shines
No one there to say, you're wrong or right
You've waited a lifetime
Burning all your bridges tonight
This is the wild life
It's the wild life
Wild life
This is the wild life
No stone left unturned
Jump in the fire you're gonna get burned
You might lose your way
When you come out to play the wild life
I may be too young but I've seen and done
Everything that they say is fun
I gotta find out for myself
In the end there's no one else
Every time I try to win I lose
I'm tired of waiting
Now I'm gonna make my own rules
This is the wild life
The wild life movie wasactually a good movie. Unofficial the sequel to fast times at ridgemont high but movie studios didnt really back/push it so sadly it tanked. But lives on in video dvd
I always had a crush on Mallory Keaton
I Love You GOD D.R.A.
The single didn't chart in the UK, reached no.70 in the US. Was composed for the American film of the same name, and on it's Soundtrack.
Received no AirPlay in Michigan. Love this tune. So melodic.
@@paulmerriweather2858:
Being from Michigan, I had to tape this song off the radio at the time, because it really wasn't played that much, like you said. But,yeah, I loved it too.
I have loved it ever since I first heard it back then here in the U.S
Kirk Wood I remembered seeing it on MTV quite a bit in Minnesota but I was a huge Eddie Van Halen fan and heard he wrote the soundtrack so I was looking for it in the stores. Back then we had to actually physically search for music!
I used to own the original London Records release on cassette wich included The Wild Life as part of its original track listing, unfortunately it was stolen from my apartment and was never again able to update my collection with the CD of the self-titled album that included this gem. I wonder now if this album was ever released on CD with this track. So happy to find it here👍.
Cheers to the new year 2024🎉🎉🎉
Btw- what movie was featured in this video or what movie featured this song in its soundtrack?
It’s available on Apple Music.
Wilson Phillips 80s version 😉🤟
Put “The Wild Life” on fucking blu-Ray already!
@Freline I know! Already got it! 😉

Ok I can't figure out who's vioce is Sarah's Siobhan or jaquine
was this on a film soundtrack?, i do not remember this
Jlittlelife Yes, in the movie of the same name.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wild_Life_(song)
It was on their self titled album
Although, if you watch the movie, it would be understandable that you wouldn't recognize this song from it. They played about this "" much of it during a bar/club scene in the background.
Eric Rainey Eponymously named...
Can’t find this movie anywhere!
I found and bought it from Amazon!
what name of movie of clip music
The Wild Life (1984)
I love this song but, I never saw the movie that was playing on the video. I had to cringe over the park were someone put the little poodle in the microwave!
1:35 Korean food?
Клип ничего😘😚😙
!но песня проходная
,не цепляла и раньше особо
Dude! The 🐕 in the microwave...
The original "Posers".
The way truth and life, John 14:6,
Brittany , fair question. A verse from the Bible and maybe plant a seed,
Almost feels religious.
Almost!...lol great comment. Love this song and movie. You my friend are awesome ❤️😎
Dumb movie. Great song :)
I saw Footloose, Weird Science, Ghostbusters, Some Kind of Wonderful in there.
I came on here to relive 1984 memories. Then I saw the seen of the guys putting the puppy in the microwave! Now I'm fucking devastated!
1:59 Great shot.
Poor dog
THIS SONG WAS A VICTIM
OF NO MARKET.....WOUND
UP BACKGROUND MUSIC
FOR THE MOVIE......THE
MOVIE WASNT A BIG ENOUGH HIT......STILL IF THE LADIES HAD THE RIGHTS TO THE SONG
IM SURE THEY WOULD
HAVE PERFORMED IT
WIDELY....BAD MANAGEMENT...BY THE
RECORD COMPANY...
What you came here for: 0:57
I think you mean 1:59.
Those eyes
I so adore the song but shoving the poodle in the microwave in the video was a real no no.
Luciferen?
I never liked when artists wrote a song to match a movie’s title. This unfortunately has happened here. Just didn’t work. Creative freedom.
@bobbykiriakidis9753: It actually worked...they just aren't responsible for the movie flop...
THESE GIRLYS IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, THEY'RE SO CUTE & SWEET COULD BE CUTE LIKE THAT IN MY LIVING ROOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
