Got an express pot for Christmas. I was fearful of using it as I have never cooked with pressure before. Your video took the fear out of using it. Today I made an amazing rump roast with veggies with your guidelines, with slight different ingredients. Roast just melted in my mouth. Flavors were amazing! Thank you.
I just bought my Crockpot Express XL today and I'm excited to use it! I'm making a pork roast tonight and your video helped me with time and how to set it up. Thank you!!
I have one of these and love it. I wish people would not be so afraid of them. They have safety features built in that far surpasses the old stove top pressure cookers. As long as you follow the very simple directions, they are safe and make very flavorful and recipes. They can replace your slow cooker and your rice cooker.
Thank you for sharing. I just bought the gadget and seems a little intimidating but I’ve used it for fresh beans, bone broth, and my next attempt will be spare ribs. Will see. Please make more videos. The recipes that come with the pot are not too clear!!
Now seeing 25 pages of instructions and no recipes (only charts) thank goodness for your video. No appliance should be this complicated! (I’m sure it has to do with safety which I know are perfectly safe when directions are followed. Mom had a pressure cooker back in the 70’s and used it regularly so maybe I’ll learn too) Other videos were not streamlined enough. Heard you could put frozen meats in it but haven’t found any recipes for frozen yet in fact what I have found advise against it. So today after watching your video I defrosted in the microwave while gathering the other ingredients. Waiting for the finished product now. In the meanwhile, I have no extra space to store appliances or gadgets so am trying to make space to get this off the counter yet still have easy access. It was a Christmas present so we will graciously be giving it our best try to learn to use it. Thanks again for making this first attempt much easier! Love your kitchen too and looking forward to learning about other things on your channel!
Well done Video! Your personality shines through! Got one of these as a Christmas Gift and have watched a PLETHORA of TRASH videos.. thank you for your worthwhile video!
Just made lentils (daal) with a pot within a pot method- i added another pot over the lentils with rice and I had traditional Indian Dal and brown rice in 20 mins o pressure
I can't wait to see your review. I'm trying to decide if I want to get one. I thought the selling point on these was you can use it all different ways? Could you have set it for a long slow cook like a regular crock pot?
I have cooked hardboiled eggs in the Crockpot for 8 mins and they came out perfectly. Kept them in the shell in the fridge for a week and they were still lovely. Dont peel the eggs.
I got the CPE instead of an Instant pot cause it's a trusted brand and it came with non-stop pot (IP's you have purchase separately). I wish CPE company or someone would come up with a cookbook for it. Thanks for your video. How long to cook 3pd pork roast w/taters,carrots?
That has been the greatest flaw I think of them. I am guessing on this but I would say about 2 - 3 hours. But that is just a guess. Thank You for watching.
Hi i need some advice if you will I’m super excited I just received a crock pot express as a birthday gift from my son ! I prepared a chicken dish to pressure cook. I turned the very wiggly valve to seal position but the pot was releasing so much steam out of the other valve right next to it that it could not build up enough pressure and remained in “heat” mode the whole 20 minutes Timer never did the countdown I’ve never used a pressure cooker before perhaps not I’m doing something wrong?
Sorry to take so long to get back to yo but I was trying to recreate what you were talking about and I could not. I am not sure what other valve you are talking about. As mine only had the one. I wish that I could help more. Thank You for watching.
I thought the same...maybe it depends on how big.. I'm using a 3lb roast. I've seen tons of videos and I have mine in for 1 hr 30 mins. I'm new to this Crockpot multi use and I get confused with the valve, releasing pressure...some do it the 1st 15 mins after hitting pressure but then some just hit Meat/stew, cook it for however long and then release the pressure thing. So confusing. But the meat didn't look tender as he first started cutting....seemed like he edited the video so you couldn't see how hard it was lol but that's okay. The video helped me but I also watched other videos too!

Thank You. And Thank You for watching.
Thank you, that was very helpful! Can you explain how you picked 50 min to cook? I'm confused in the timing part of things!
50 minutes was the recommended time for most roast using a pressure cooker, Thank You for watching.
Looks so easy!
Thank You for watching.
Even for crockpot express, for roast beef use slow cook mode for 10 hrs instead after sear on a cast iron for best results, else it will dry out
Thank You for watching.

Yes you can. It is an interesting thing. Thank You for watching.

CM Coleman Home: Thank you so much for your effort! 🙏🏼Turns out it was a faulty gauge I exchanged it 👍🏼 CROCK ON!
Does the crock pot express have a delayed timer so that I can slow cook this recipe while at work?
Yes, It does have a delay start time. Thank You for watching.
I love this video, but felt triggered seeing him use metal cooking utensils in a non-stick pot.
Sorry about that, but Thank You for watching.
@@cmcolemanhome I use tongs with silicon grab ends on them. Won't scratch that way.
What temp
That depends on the speed you want to have it done at. I used low for this Thank You for watching.
Just purchased this item and I wanted to know if the pressure release valve on top of lid is supposed to be wobbly?
Yes. Even when it is in the "locked" position I thought it felt still a little woobly. Thank You for watching.
CM Coleman Home: recipes and lifestyle, thanks for the response.
Yes it is meant to be. Must read and follow the instructions that come with it. It's very safe and functions very well.
Very informational, but meat looked a little dry. I would've kept it in a little longer
Thanks for watching.

@@christinaAdavison Nope not edited for anything other than time. Thanks for watching. You should probably watch the review I did of the multipot
You make it look easy but I still don't want to use it. Or you could just cook for me.
Thank You
Just bought one today. Can't wait to use it.
That was way over done
Thank You for watching.
