So good! My husband makes ribs in the pressure cooker all the time and braises them in the oven to finish - the foodi does both - how cool! Thanks for the video!
Excellent job. All the points and techniques were succinctly covered. Loved it. I’m going to do this with the newer ninja pc with the built in thermometer. Thanks Looks delish.
On my! Just got my Foodi yesterday and this was the first thing I cooked in it. I made a few changes to the spices and liquid. The roast was a perfect medium rare! 😀
@@ReensPlace hi there, I have the Power Pressure Cooker XL. I got mine the year before instant pot came on scene. I have a question about yours. When you say natural release ( with yours) are you having to open a valve so steam is coming out? Or essentially is it sealed and basically cooling down and still cooking for that 60 minutes? thank you for your time. ❤️ be well
@@ritawashere5787 hi, "natural " release is keeping it sealed (valve in "sealed " position) and the pot itself just releases the pressure a tiny bit at a time as it cools down. "Quick " release is when you turn the valve to "release " and all the steam comes out quickly. Hope that helps..thanks for watching!! Hope you give it a try! 😊😊
@@ReensPlace oh my gosh yes you have helped me so much! That must explain why a roast I made last week was very tough. After I was done pressure cooking it I immediately released all the pressure. Anyway, your video help me figure mine out. Thank you, I do struggle because there's no information really on the Power Pressure Cooker XL. Have a beautiful day hun ❤️ be well
What pressure cook time to get it where there is no blood or pink?... I like it the way you cooked it but my friend wouldn't...The meat would be great for roast beef sandwiches too!
I’m English and love proper roast beef. Living in Australia now so we have comp, etely different named cuts of beef but I’m trying this tonight with my roast that was going in the oven!
