There have been a lot of comments about the bots on this thread. And well, I won’t confirm or deny if I use one, everything that has been said it’s pretty much true. That is a bummer. Are there other nearby zones that open earlier? Sometimes, I will dash in the zone two north of me because they have a popular “all night” restaurant.
The thing I am concerned about, concerning the flex app, is that you do not know how many miles you are traveling, or what areas you are really going to, from the start, correct? And if so, how do you handle that, and how do you incorporate that into being worth picking your block? Thanks for the tips!
That’s right! It’s like a box of chocolate, you never know what you will get. For me it seems like: 10% punishment, 70% average or easy, and 20% no route but still paid. So, overall, I like it.
You get good and bad blocks. The more miles you have to drive the less packages you get. A few blocks are terrible ie 100 miles for $60. It's part of the job. Sometimes they pay you for just showing up.
@@olivierauberger that’s right, they aren’t all bad. You may have gotten a bad one first time out. I love it when they have no routes and you get full pay for no work!!

I only work with 3 stations because of the area it takes me. If you work over your shift time, call in and let them know so you can be paid the difference. Also, tell them the issues you faced. They can’t fix a problem they don’t know about.

Yeah, it is probably all relative to the least they can pay and still get drivers. We do have cheap gas, just over $3.00 a gallon. Thanks for the comment! 🤓
Yes, they cannot overlap, and you will only be presented with offers during times that you aren’t already booked. But yes, some people do 3 runs a day.
I was officially hired as of Monday. It is now Thursday, I am constantly checking, all different hours of day and night, very frequently. Constantly refreshing, every single time, no offers available. I have my availability set from 12:00 am to 11:30 pm. I've cleared my cache. Absolutely not one job. I don't understand.
Which metro area? And you can set the times to 12:00am on both. Not sure that will matter. When in the filters are there a lot of options for warehouses and retail? Like more than 10?? All I can think is that maybe it is just slow. Make sure notifications are turned on as they do send a push if the pay rates go up. And if you don’t see anything for a few days, it might be worth reaching out to support Sorry for the trouble
@SideGigGuy The Quad Cities, Davenport specifically, in Iowa I thought that 12am-12am would just be saying you have no availability. So actually it means you're always available? Thanks for responding 😀
I'm in SoCal, I have to constantly tap refresh button with my right thumb and then tap the upper portion of screen with my right thumb and do manage to get some blocks. Amazon release blocks at certain times but also blocks become available randomly when people forfeit (cancel) their scheduled blocks. It's definitely challenging, but just keep hitting refresh until something happens
Does the app tell you where the warehouse is? I have no idea where this place is and I'm afraid of accepting a block and not knowing where the warehouse is. Thanks.
Google maps. Punch in Amazon and the three letter code of warehouse. (Like vga). If Google maps doesn’t help, straight up google it first. The app won’t give you the address to the warehouse unless you assign yourself a pick up there.
Thanks for the info question your blocks have per hr. Pay & time frame but how do you know mileage? Do you only get mileage after excepting? Just signed on haven't done a run yet waiting for background check to complete.
You don’t know in advance. It’s like a box of chocolate, you never know if it will be easy or hard. Or how many packages, or how far you will drive. The Amazon logistics is pretty good about the time estimate. I finish early more often than late. Good luck. If you get a bad run first time out, try again. Bad blocks happen, but they are random.

There is no way to know. It could be matter of weeks or it could be a matter of months. There are certain times where they are short of drivers and fortunately we’re coming up on one of them. The holidays. Stay patient and if you don’t get anything by Christmas, I would consider reaching trying to find some Support directly from Amazon I hate to tell people this, but I have been on the waiting list for Instacart and spark for over a year. I even created different accounts with different phone numbers and still couldn’t get off the waiting list.
Thanks 4 the info. Gonna Try this but Amazon's MIN. Should be $25hr. You're Running your Own Vehicle info the Ground, Sure this is Contract Work Sooo No Benefits?? Yeah the Average needs 2b Easily like $25hr!
I agree. Depending on where you live, it could be more. Also, except for the bad blocks, most of the time I finish early. And, if there are no routes available, which happens about 10% of the time, you can go home and still get paid the full amount. This happened two Monday’s in a row.
Are you ever able to book 2-3 blocks a day with this strategy or how many blocks a day do you do on the days you work? Are there days that are busier than other days?
You can definitely book 2-3 blocks a day. I know people who do this. Not me. But they usually do two 5 hour blocks, with a 2-3 hr block in the middle. 1: 4a-8a 2: 10a-1p 3: 2p-7p. It’s hard work, not for me.

No, not that I can tell. But, sometimes real high pay blocks will get offered minutes before start time. So I do know people will stay close to a warehouse and then wait for a high pay block.
@@Abears_ that depends on the warehouse. In Atlanta, they had warehouses that would start as early as 4am, with blocks going into the afternoon. But down here in lower Alabama, all the blocks are from 1pm-5pm. So, it just depends. I keep my filter wide open to see them all. 1200am to 1200am.

@@Livewild779 oh, sorry, I misunderstood. You might want to check their website, but I believe they required at least a four-door car. Check the AmazonFlex website. However, I get your point, and there’s probably ways around that. For example, when I pick up, Amazon has no idea what vehicle I’m actually in, they do an identity check that it’s me with my face.
@@Livewild779 from Amazon website. If you are delivering Prime Now orders, you can use any car that can safely and reliably transport Amazon orders to customers. If you are delivering Amazon.com orders, you'll need to use a 4-door, mid-sized sedan or larger vehicle, such as a truck with a covered bed, SUV, or a van that can safely and reliably transport Amazon orders to customers. Smaller cars and trucks with open beds do not qualify.
Do u notice that if u reserve a block then cancel it (even hours before it begins), u won't see another block in that same time frame again? Say it's 2pm, I see a block drop for 5PM and I reserve it, then immediately drop it, I won't see another block that starts at 5pm for the rest of the day.
@@SideGigGuy yea supposedly it happens often. From what I've heard, it's the system's way of saying "Well, if u dropped a block from 2pm-5pm (for example), u must not be available during those times. So we'll only show you blocks starting after 5pm". Which does make sense. Otherwise, the only reason you'd drop a block and get another in the same time slot would be to try getting a higher payout. So I can see why they'd have smthng like that in place.
Thanks for the information, I didn’t see exactly the block that I refused, but what you said, that I can’t see a single block at all from now on, I think that’s not the case. I'll check.
It could be that there are no available offers at the time you were checking. Here are some things you can try. For the filters set the time availability from 12 AM to 12 AM. That does cover the entire day even though it’s a little counterintuitive. Select all the warehouses that are available in your area, even if you have no intention of picking up, at least it will validate that there are offers coming. If you still don’t see anything, try checking during different times of the day. Six in the morning noon three in the afternoon, things like that. Also, make sure you have notifications turned on as you should receive notification when increased rates are available Good luck and thanks for the comment
There is a lot of random refreshing. But usually within a few hours of the block start. Sometimes, it is within a few minutes of start time, so if you see this happening, you may want to camp out near the station. Each site is different. For me, waking at 3-4am got me the best money for morning routes
I’ve heard there’s softwares that can help you snag those high paying blocks in milliseconds but if the Amazon flex app suspects you’re using them you can be terminated.
Flexomatic is the only one I am familiar with enough to know it does work. You set your pay rate, travel time to warehouse, and it goes to work. It is against policy to use, but hey others are doing it. flexomatic.io/.

how do you click refresh so fast? I think on my cell phone for a few seconds after pressing, and if you press it many times, the inscription comes out, you pressed it many times.

If you are II Level. Go to settings or go to your dashboard rewards details. Go to preferred schedule. Select stations (make sure Sub Same-Day) Select days and times. Starting Thursday it’s giving you blocks.
Good question. A big part is volume. A smaller part is the economy of Atlanta. But one part is the drivers have gamed their systems. They don’t take a lower base and they will encourage other drivers not to. There will always be drivers who settle for 18, but this warehouse pushes out hundreds of runs a day. So they have to have surge payments. They also overbook a lot. So sometimes drivers leave with no route and still get paid.
In this case, yes. 3am Monday morning. I don’t think this is a great video, but I was just so frustrated, because I can usually grab one, and was trying to make a video in successfully grabbing one. But it seems my failure was pretty good. 😂
Yes, you can definitely schedule two blocks a day. I believe you can schedule three blocks a day depending on the length of the block. I think the limit Amazon places is on the number of hours. You can schedule per week. But I’m not 100% sure on the weekly limit as I don’t do it enough to go over 40 hours. But I am sure you can do two and possibly three blocks a day.
If you are II Level. Go to settings or go to your dashboard rewards details. Go to preferred schedule. Select stations (make sure Sub Same-Day) Select days and times. Starting Thursday it’s giving you blocks.
No you cannot. You can be terminated for using any automated block grabber like flexer and flexomatic. And while I don’t endorse block grabbers, they are effective and likely hard to detect.
This job is definitely not worth it at base pay. Tried it out recently and drove 120 miles for $89. Safety issues with dogs and people and your car takes a beating. I see people scooping these base pay offers in my area like they're gems when in reality you are lending Amazon your vehicle and delivering their packages for free after expenses.
How do u find the locations of the warehouses? I live in Seattle and there’s so many but I don’t want to select one that’s on the other side of Seattle than where I live
Great question. I’ll use Google maps, and just put the station code letters into the search. Most of them will show up. I think there is also a Reddit article that contains it all but you might have to search for that.

I’ve never done spark. But flex is pretty easy, at least the warehouse part is most of the time. Anywhere from 1-50 stops, usually about 7-9 stops per hour. And usually finish the block early.
@@monetthood2770 yes. In fact, you also get the full pay if the don’t have a route for you. Which happens occasionally. I’d say 5% of the time. You stand around for 30 minutes and then the app tells you that you can leave, full pay.
Those high pay blocks, are hard to get. A trick some people use is to stay close to the warehouse. Because sometimes they’ll offer those blocks with only five or 10 minutes to show up.
Their vest policy varies from station to station. Publicly, they say all you need to do is ask for a vest and they’ll give you one. Hi there I made an Amazon account on Amazon flex but app keeps on saying we will let you once available in your area. Instead lot of people already working in my area. Any suggestions Thanks
It sounds like you’re on the dreaded waiting list. There’s no good answer for this, sometimes it’s only a few days sometimes it’s a few months, and my case when it comes to spark or Instacart it’s forever so far. I’ve been on both waiting lists for over two years. I’ve reapplied, and still nothing.
Thank you very much for this comment, because it gives me the opportunity to share my point of view. I like being an independent contractor. I like the flexibility of not being an employee. It worries me when I see states like New York and California pushing for employee status. Becoming an employee means you are a lot more beholden to your employer, then as an independent contractor. as an employee, there would probably be a lot more expectations and responsibilities, and I don’t want that anymore. I’m perfectly fine being my own boss. However, there is your side as well that we don’t get paid much and we don’t get any benefits. All we have is freedom.
The system is stupid, plain and simple. We shouldn't have to keep refreshing to get blocks, you should be able to see other blocks that are available once you've selected one and you should be able to log off on your own if you don't deliver all your packages within the block time and not have to wait for them to log you off and scan in all the packages you returned before you can get back to the main screen.
Some of the Amazon drivers said if you pay some Indians who work inside Amazon wearhouse $50 to $100 a week, they will reserve those high pay orders . I didn't believe them saying that first but when I saw some drivers got them when they are not even online . That's insane
stupid incompatible tech. like what's the point of putting up Blocks if they honestly dont exist for the thousands of people who want them? A better tech is to divide these flexible employees into groups, and to each group, supply more than enough blocks to get to choose from. this idea will eliminate this problem
You are spot on. And Amazon tries to do this with their ranking system, although, even the best of the best still don’t get offers that good sent directly to them. That’s what they should do, their best delivery partners should get the best pay, not just random chance.
Trash! I did it people that think they making good money just dint know how to add ALL the numbers...I CAME IN A STEADY $12.80 TO $16.80 after all considerations (for average $18.57hr jobs $65/3.5hrs or $55/3hrs) took me exactly what they said
Oh it’s cool, and a very common belief that all your money goes to gas. In some states, it definitely makes more of an impact. But even in California, and if my car only got 25 MPG, it would be $24 in gas per $100 earned. I appreciate you asking it if only so that I could answer, love comments. And, at 100 miles a day, tires and oil changes can add up. We are underpaid. And no reason at all to apologize, appreciate the feedback

I’ve done flex once a 3hr delivery, ended up being 5plus hrs, horrible, they send you every where.
You get good and bad blocks. The more miles you have to drive the less packages you get. A few blocks are terrible ie 100 miles for $60. It's part of the job. Sometimes they pay you for just showing up.

That is good information, and I haven’t noticed that. But I’m going to watch for it. I dropped a block for this Friday because of the cold weather. 😀
@@SideGigGuy yea supposedly it happens often. From what I've heard, it's the system's way of saying "Well, if u dropped a block from 2pm-5pm (for example), u must not be available during those times. So we'll only show you blocks starting after 5pm".

Also, make sure you have notifications turned on as you should receive notification when increased rates are available
Good luck and thanks for the comment
When do they up these prices so high? Like an hour before the block starts? Randomly throughout the day? Do you just refresh for hours?
There is a lot of random refreshing. But usually within a few hours of the block start.
Sometimes, it is within a few minutes of start time, so if you see this happening, you may want to camp out near the station.

Why lithia spring pays better than other warehouses
Good question. A big part is volume. A smaller part is the economy of Atlanta. But one part is the drivers have gamed their systems. They don’t take a lower base and they will encourage other drivers not to. There will always be drivers who settle for 18, but this warehouse pushes out hundreds of runs a day. So they have to have surge payments. They also overbook a lot. So sometimes drivers leave with no route and still get paid.

Good luck it takes years to get in it took me 3 yrs on the waiting list
If amazon wants me to wear a Amazon vest then they need to give me benefits as a employee
I couldn’t agree more. There’s got to be a better way!
1year later amazon flex still sucks refresh for 2 hours for nothing

Some of the Amazon drivers said if you pay some Indians who work inside Amazon wearhouse $50 to $100 a week, they will reserve those high pay orders .
I didn't believe them saying that first but when I saw some drivers got them when they are not even online . That's insane
In a warehouse where an attendant assigned the carts, that would be possible.
you pay hackers and they solve the best blocks for you, I've heard
stupid incompatible tech. like what's the point of putting up Blocks if they honestly dont exist for the thousands of people who want them? A better tech is to divide these flexible employees into groups, and to each group, supply more than enough blocks to get to choose from. this idea will eliminate this problem
You are spot on. And Amazon tries to do this with their ranking system, although, even the best of the best still don’t get offers that good sent directly to them. That’s what they should do, their best delivery partners should get the best pay, not just random chance.
Im new to Amazon Flex, gotta say, this is a disgusting way to have to find work.

Yea... actually after doing Amazon flex for a week, I realized most of us are only minimum wage workers. Take into account all the gas cost, the average $18-25/hr comes out to only $13-18/hr. Plus it beats the shit out of your car if you're really pulling a 40 hour work week. You're on the road risking your life for this company every block and your insurance rates are going to go up too if they know you're delivering.... main while Amazon got us doing ALL THIS for minimum wage. McDonald's employee get paid more! Lol
I Am From India Day By Day Amazonflex is Very Bad Company make A Video Of Dark Secrets Of Amazonflex If U Don't Do Pod Or Not Give Positive Feedback Questions Then U Not Get Any Blocks Always Station Force To Do Pod By Self Account Money and Monopoly of Blocks also
I know some drivers wait at the station in the wifi and grab the blocks quick..
That is a good strategy because the best rates come just before the block is to start. Sometimes, just minutes before.
I also have stations that are organized and have easy routes and one that I know are terrible and ruin your status
He programmed a software that I
use! I no longer see orders less than $30! I'm getting
higher paying blocks orders and in lesser mileage
which I make minimum of $450 a day working for few
hours! Thanks you very much #wonders_tech7
