- Time lapse of my construction of a large Victorian dollhouse, known as the "New Haven". It was finished just in time for Christmas 2020 for my 4-year old twin girls. It took a total of 60 hours, and that was just to complete the exterior. Thankfully, my girls are too young to appreciate the interior work, so that will be a project for next year. This video isn't a step-by-step how-to, but it's a good depiction of what goes into making a large dollhouse from a "kit" - a word which I use loosely since there are plenty of aspects of the house that are left up to you. Professor, thank you for making this video and sharing it. I just received my first dollhouse for Christmas from my family. I had always wanted one, but as the child of immigrants it wasn’t a possibility-my parents had other things to worry about. I’m in my 50s now and am so excited to finally have one. It’s this make and model. You’re video has given me a lot of confidence to start building it. Thanks for helping me start my dream come true.

I love miniatures but wow, this really made me appreciate all the more how much time and effort goes into putting these big victorian houses together. That's a lot of hard work that I'm sure will mean a lot to your little girls. It was also helpful for me to see this from beginning to end. Thanks :)
I bought this kit so I’m happy to see a construction video of it!!! I’m extremely nervous to start assembly. And have to say I laughed at the “SEE THAT HOLE RIGHT THERE? IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE” 😂

Good job. I have the new port house from Real Good Toys. It's exactly the same house as the New Haven with only the front door location and interior stairs. Google it good job again hope your daughter's enjoy it for years to come

Despite my good intentions I have not been able to continue on with the interior of the house, although I did purchase a lot of the materials to do so. Perhaps over the Christmas break. Thanks for reaching out.
Thank you. This is my next project and you have given me get insight on what I’m in for. I love it. My husband and I just completed the Victorian Farmhouse and it came out amazing. We will be giving it to a children’s home for Christmas. Now we working on the Garfield which is huge and beautiful with its unique floor plan.
I am also purchasing two extensions for the New Haven so it’s going to be massive. I can’t wait.
