With lots of bad stuff happening in the world, it’s nice to see some good things happening. Tides of Change looks great. Electronics install looks phenomenal. Not many professional boat builders are so particular about wires.
I just want to let you two know that I really appreciate you documenting the build in Dauntless. I have been planning, researching, and designing a custom boat, myself. I had the idea of using foam in fiberglass, instead of wood or coosa, but have had trouble finding anyone doing it. You have given me hope that my dream of building this boat, myself, is possible ..... although, it is a completely different hull style. Thank you for all the information. I have been binge watching the entire series, since finding the build.
@BuildingMVDauntless It certainly is. I thought I was going to have to experiment to figure it all out. I was given a Mandatory Medical Retirement from the military, September of 2023, and wanted to find something to build, to fill my time ...... something that would be useful to my family during retirement. I hope to start on the boat, soon. I do plan to document the build, also; more raw than your videos, however. I have no skill in editing. Thank you for your reply and, again, thank you for the content. It will be useful, when I start my build.
@@BuildingMVDauntless The boat looks absolutely amazing. The colors; the fit and finish ...... You did a great job; then, to consider you built it by hand, with no experience. That makes it even more impressive, to me.
Brilliant update! You two are so proud and happy now compared to earlier vids. That flip-flop finish will confuse the hell out of the marine life. (flip-flop = good name? maybe not...) How do you feel about the design now that it's basically finished? It looks sick, that's for sure.
The cockpit floor is approximately 18” above waterline. We recreationally fish but I don’t think it will a be problem for us. Thanks for following along 😊
The motors were installed professionally. The video is deceiving the cav plates are almost perfectly aligned with the bottom of the hull. Thanks for looking out though. 😊
Love it So happy for you both !
just found you guys and now here goes the binge watch of the build. Very cool!

Thank you! We appreciate it. Gotta take pride in what you made.
Beautiful lines! Can’t wait to see it finished! Did you follow a set of plans you got from online?
Awesome progress well done you will not regret getting Yamaha outboards and the 70hp will be economical. Looking forward to the water test video.

Thank you! Glad to hear that…we didn’t have the stamina to document the entire thing step by step but hopefully it was enough to help

It looks beautiful. Can't wait to see it on the water.
Great work! I'm excited to see how she rides in the waves.
Us too!
Dang, that turned out great!!
would love to see this boat cross the Arctic Circle...you'll need a heater for the enclosed pilot house
That is one of the best looking boats I have ever seen! Almost like a Parker 2120 but much better! Love it
Thanks so much!
👍👏👏👏✅
A lot of work to get to this point. Well done.
So happy for you guys!!

We are very pleased how it looks. We were worried about it looking LIKE a home built boat but not anymore!
She's looking sharp
Nice.
Happy sailing.
Are the motors very low or is it the cockpit floor that is high comparing to the waterline? I quess it doesn't matter if your not fishing.

WOW! Looking amazing!
Looks like you need to lift your outboards by about four Inches, cavitation plate needs to be level with the bottom of your hull. Nice work!.

@@BuildingMVDauntless Sweet. I’m running a 28 ft Sharkcat here in Australia with a few more horsepower. 350 on the back keeps me happy!.
