    Great progress!!! Lots of bright work, I personally am removing all bright work on my boat cause sanding and varnishing is not my thing ;) Everything looks great, good job you two!

    You two are doing a fantastic job. I built a 25' trimaran over 4 years. so familiar with that 'burnt out' feeling. You're nearly there so just keep chugging along. Using a boat you've built yourself is really gratifying.

    Congrats on going with the wrap. I will be looking at that for my boat in time. The buses I drive for a living have them and they are amazing even in an accident. They don't tear

    AWESOME !!! Thanks for the video. You were wise to skip the launch party. It isn't a good day to add any more to your stress level. 👍

    Great work and a fantastic progress! I think I've said it before, it's fun to see all progress but you have to invest the available time in the boat, in yourselves and your lives. UA-cam and us subscribers should always come in second place. Don't get burnt out by trying to push out videos of the progress.

    Did you use the honey comb pvc boards or the divincell h 60 ?

    Guys wood backing will be high maintenance particularly in areas with high water contact. The way to do it properly is router out the edges of your core them soak your glass and roll lengths into rope then put that in the edge . Drill holes oversize then fill with Structural epoxy. When cured drill again and the edges of hole are sealed no chance of ingress.. takes longer to do but is a far better way, the wood will hide the water ingress into your core and after two trips you will have water being sucked into your core material and sadly you will see it till to late

      @@ClaireK-v3i been on the water for 6 months. Literally no issues. It’s honeycomb core- water will not intrude. Also the bow is so high no splashing on windows either! But thanks for your concern 😊

    What is the honeycomb product?

    • @BuildingMVDauntless
      @BuildingMVDauntless  6 місяців тому

      Carbon core is the brand. We had a crappy experience with them so we try not to promote them

    Mate your going to have a shit time with where your cables are, you will be stepping all over them. Your obviously not people who have spent time on the water. Please take these comments onboard you do a ok job just need a lot more advise
