The truth about Aarey has been kept hidden by authorities.
Sparrows were my morning alarm. I never realised how involuntarily, we have been destroying such an important part of our urban ecosystem.
Kudos to the tireless gentleman who has taken an extra effort in saving the lovely creation. Not every one is blessed as Khatri ji. May god bless you Sir.

Rakesh Sir is an inspiration for me and many more. Delhi state bird, Sparrows once were so common but now the number has dwindled that we rarely see them. Sir helped our school students also to make these nests and were instrumental in making them eco warriors .Lots of regards for great environmentalist like Khatri Sir.
Iam so happy and glad to see that people like Mr Khatri exist in this world. I myself, do my small part and volunteer for cat shelters here in my area in the US....i sew blankets etc as i have this skill, i also donate a lot $ too. My very small part in this big big world ❤❤
I have 12 cats
Plz read this criticism, although I truly appreciate your intention to do good. But sometimes only intention is not all enough to bring harmony. A couple of month ago the same idea came to me. 10s of sparrow come to my window in morning & evening time as there is tall tree outside to my building. I started doing the same what you're doing. Problem what I felt is that, by practising the ready-made nest, sparrows will loose their knowledge to built the nest from the scrap. Hence their next to next generation will be totally unaware about their sacred art practiced by their ancestors. And they will be dependent to human being. Making them lazy & dependent is not the role of human.
Solution: Our role is just to use the natural resources in a way that other species can also use it as per their need. This collectivism of utilising natural resources is the only way to maintain the harmony among the species on earth.
Can my government learn something from this man. Talk less do more, do genuine good.
I live in Bombay I have around 2-3 groups of Sparrow's visiting daily due to my mother's efforts nd now I wanna install same row house type nest can any one guide me what would be cost for one such artificial nest?
i still miss my sparrow after the construction of new home.
they were my alarms in the morning.

Bahut khoob sir. Wonderful work. I have a few sparrows visiting my house. I have a big basin filled with clean water everyday for birds. I love to see birds coming in the morning and evening to drink water, bath and play. Crows, pigeons, minas and sparrows come everyday.
I think rather we just see Rakesh ji and appreciate it, why don't we all build a nest in our house and make house for the birds...i have done one ✅
