What type of wheels are on the car? Can't find them in the BMW car configurator.
What type of rims are those, can somebody tell me the name of them please? You can not choose them if you would configurate a 5 series on the website of BMW.

Great video as always! However, I own a 2013 M550D Touring also full option like this car, which I bought as a replacement for the dissapointing new XC90 and while you were reviewing, I found myself thinking that my car is almost exactly the same both inside and outside. I can not come up with any reason to buy a New 5 series. As far a I can tell, the diesel engines haven't changed either? Why would people buy this in Germany when Germany is flooded with perfectly brilliant second hand 5 series?
well the interior build quality was stepped us, for example. Different infotainment ... but indeed the changes are not THAT huge
Some cars look better as estates. The Skoda Superb is one and certainly the BMW 5 series as well. What a beauty

Thomas can you find the Alpina B5 Biturbo for a review?)) It's a real 608 hp monster... from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5s and top speed of 330 km/h :D

john evans it's now standard, it was optional and too expensive back then. so no body option it
i just hope the reservoir for the blinker fluid is better made, on previous generation it would crack and leak if you hit the smallest of pot hole and then the blinkers wouldn't work.
The cameraman not really could find the correct focus in the first 4 min of the video. Or encoding error?

Yes. The focus error ( blur) is exactly at
- 2:01 - 2:26
- 2:53 - 4:02 when Thomas is at the left side of the BMW.
Hm, I think you can only see that fullscreen, indeed, that might have happened due to the strange light on the motor shows, so sometimes you cannot see the focus properly on the camera and/or if autofocus is used, it sometimes jumps around. I wish they would make softer lighting for the motor shows. sorry our mistake!

What has changed compared to the BMW 5 series generation 31 I have tested last Saturday? Nothing notable even if Thomas tries to convince us with car lifting review. Good car but too noisy and I don't think that that 5 series is friendly to driver. I will read other reactions.

Dakota leather (this car had it) ain't real, it's a fake ass leatherette aka vinyl.
1. Dakota in BMW usually consists of animal skin on the inside and leatherette on the outside.
2. The leatherette in BMW is called Sensatec
3. Using "fake ass" leatherette saves lives and reduces suffering. So it's way better in any case than "bullshit animal skin"
Fukk, I didn't realise they have the audacity to offer seats that are worse finish than Dakota and still call it premium product. Having experienced Dakota in daily use for many years I feel sorry for anyone who buys the pure shit edition aka Sensatec.
I agree. I like BMW but the seat quality in the current vehicles(both fake leather and real leather) is very bad compared to competitors.

Autogefühlchen You seem to know everything yet you don't know that some markets don't get fabric/alcantara as an option. Dakota is the starting point on many BMWs including the new 5erchen.
bmw is so much better inside quality then audi you don't know what you are talking about.
