Hi Erica.. I just bought an unlocked note 9 from best buy but I noticed that when making calls, it switched from LTE to H. It doesn't have VoLTE either. My carrier is AT&T. Any thoughts on how I would be able to get this enabled? Or have you heard of anything like this?
you can tell Erica is a note enthusiast. Other UA-camrs dont really look into the uses of the S-Pen, they just mention features and move on. They dont seem to use the S-Pen in real life applications. It's refreshing to see full reviews done with passion.
I agree. I looked all over for a review that talks about it as that seems the most important feature but most just seem to gloss over it with technical info. In a review I want personal experience and opinions like this, not just a bunch of facts.

Great info. I'm becoming more and more disillusioned with most UA-cam tech channels, as I see evidence of some of them being influenced by what they get from the company.....and others trying intentionally to be outrageous in supporting one company while mocking the competition. Your channel is one of about 3 that I still trust. The others are Mr. Mobile and Flossy Carter. By the way, the info about dark scenes in movies on Samsung devices was enlightening to me. Before now, I thought I was nuts to think that Amazon's cheap tablets were more enjoyable for watching movies with lots of dark scenes.....but now I see why.

Just got my note9 today! It's a nice step up over my s8+ I love the bigger screen and I'm guessing I'm going to love the longer battery life. My screen has perfect uniformity so I'm loving it!

Girl, you just unraveled me so many capabilities that I didn't even know on my Note 9. My favorite feature/s is the split screen with more than one pop up app being used with the help of the edge panel whatever it's called. It makes me so much productive, especially when it comes to studying. I can basically read pdfs, note taking, video playing, and the calculator all at the same time.

I dont find the note that much large if you really see and hold them in reality. I thought they were near as large as a tablet coz of the screen but theyre not.
I had the note 5 and can't wait to get the note 9... This phone is great if your in school and take lots of notes👍👍 the camera is so good I use to take pictures of the notes the teacher would put on the board... And make notes with the pic.. anyway this is a must have phone if your in college/school...
My last Samsung phone was a note 4. And I swore to never buy another Samsung phone due to lag issues. My current phone was a pixel 2 xl( by google) and started to have battery drain issues after android p update. It's the smoothest android experience you can get. Due to the battery drain issues I decided to purchase a note 9 and I was pleasantly surprised how good the battery life was and how smooth the phone is! Samsung really made huge improvements to their software, along with the best specs on a phone, make this phone worth that horrible price tag.... go for it.

I returned my Note 9 because of how poor the battery life was. It wasn't much better than the poor battery life I had on the Note 8. Watching this, though, I'm having some thoughts lol. I never realized Samsung Notes was that awesome with an S-Pen. I was looking for more ways to incorporate the pen into my usage with the phone, and the screen off stuff you showed with the always on display, looks really cool.
My Note 9 survives a day easily, with 30%+ left by midnight with a regular use. I don't know how much of a heavy user you are, but I certainly wouldn't classify the battery life as poor...
rasmie The stand-by time is the problem. I tested by charging to 100% and leaving it to sit without using it and in just a couple hours it was at 76%. =/

nit picking ,least samsung is £350 cheaper than crapples phone and it comes with a jack and fast charger and pen and bigger batttery and better display ,and grey scale clipping is easily fixwed with an app on playstore

Scintillating video! (Never used those words before) VERY clear AND useful s-pen tutorial!!! I purchased a "renewed" used "perfect out of the box" Note 9 a few months ago when the Note 10+ was released. Due to limited funds ($555), wanting a headphone jack etc. I have decided to wait for the next iterations to see if they are more suitable to my needs at that time for the $'s. Thank you very much!

Has anyone ever told you your voice is so calming? Very though, if geeky and helpful review too. I upgraded my Note 4 to a Note 9 8/512gb. It's insanely cool.... and it still has a headphone jack. Huge plus.
The 2 things I love 'bout your reviews: 1. You use the phone for adequate amount of time and then review unlike many big names & it helps a lot. 2. You do not skip those small, small but quirky glitches and stuff biggies generally don't notice and these matter a lot to consumers.

You seem like a Note wizard. The 9 is my first Note and I was thinking that maybe buying it was a mistake, but watching your enthusiasm is inspiring and addictive.
8:00 : it kind of is dependent on the pen, but not right away. You have to go in the SPen settings > SPen Remote > 3 dot menu, and reset SPen. Insert the new color SPen, and when it pairs, the signature color changes to match the new pen. So basically, it depends on the pen whose bluetooth is paired to the phone, not necessarily the pen that's currently writing.

I dont find the note that much large if you really see and hold them in reality. I thought they were near as large as a tablet coz of the screen but theyre not.
Erica's Galaxy Note review is like from a user's point of view while being very informative about the technical aspects.
I had the note 5 and can't wait to get the note 9... This phone is great if your in school and take lots of notes👍👍 the camera is so good I use to take pictures of the notes the teacher would put on the board... And make notes with the pic.. anyway this is a must have phone if your in college/school...
My last Samsung phone was a note 4. And I swore to never buy another Samsung phone due to lag issues.
My current phone was a pixel 2 xl( by google) and started to have battery drain issues after android p update.
It's the smoothest android experience you can get.
Due to the battery drain issues I decided to purchase a note 9 and I was pleasantly surprised how good the battery life was and how smooth the phone is! Samsung really made huge improvements to their software, along with the best specs on a phone, make this phone worth that horrible price tag.... go for it.
Out of all the youtubers I can tell you actually use your phone hands down this is the best video on youtube.I can't wait for part 2 please I can't wait.100 thumbs up thanks.

I returned my Note 9 because of how poor the battery life was. It wasn't much better than the poor battery life I had on the Note 8. Watching this, though, I'm having some thoughts lol. I never realized Samsung Notes was that awesome with an S-Pen. I was looking for more ways to incorporate the pen into my usage with the phone, and the screen off stuff you showed with the always on display, looks really cool.

My Note 9 survives a day easily, with 30%+ left by midnight with a regular use. I don't know how much of a heavy user you are, but I certainly wouldn't classify the battery life as poor...
rasmie The stand-by time is the problem. I tested by charging to 100% and leaving it to sit without using it and in just a couple hours it was at 76%. =/
Battery gets adjusted after couple of charge cycle
Initially mine was dropping 100-90 over night
But now it goes around 100-98/99 over night
I think he's lying😂😂😂.... That battery last the whole day with 30% Maybe 29, 28% left over. And I play a lot of music and watch UA-cam videos

What I think about part 1? well, I'm a Note fan ever since the first release came out. In fact, I've been watching you ever since the Note 1 release, and I have to say, you're doing a splendid job delivery a well detailed yet fun episode of another day with The Note. nit picking ,least samsung is £350 cheaper than crapples phone and it comes with a jack and fast charger and pen and bigger batttery and better display ,and grey scale clipping is easily fixwed with an app on playstore

Glad to see the gamma settings finally improve on your go to device. It’s like someone from Samsung decided to watch your Note 8 review. I purchased a "renewed" used "perfect out of the box" Note 9 a few months ago when the Note 10+ was released.
Due to limited funds ($555), wanting a headphone jack etc. I have decided to wait for the next iterations to see if they are more suitable to my needs at that time for the $'s.

Has anyone ever told you your voice is so calming? Very though, if geeky and helpful review too. I upgraded my Note 4 to a Note 9 8/512gb. It's insanely cool.... and it still has a headphone jack. Huge plus.
The 2 things I love 'bout your reviews:
1. You use the phone for adequate amount of time and then review unlike many big names & it helps a lot.
2. You do not skip those small, small but quirky glitches and stuff biggies generally don't notice and these matter a lot to consumers.
Finally. The only reviewer worth paying proper attention to. As always, informative and useful.

This is the best video on the Note 9 I’ve seen. I’m considering making the switch from iOS and I think this video may have pushed me into the Android camp.
You seem like a Note wizard. The 9 is my first Note and I was thinking that maybe buying it was a mistake, but watching your enthusiasm is inspiring and addictive.
8:00 : it kind of is dependent on the pen, but not right away. You have to go in the SPen settings > SPen Remote > 3 dot menu, and reset SPen. Insert the new color SPen, and when it pairs, the signature color changes to match the new pen.
So basically, it depends on the pen whose bluetooth is paired to the phone, not necessarily the pen that's currently writing.
