I agree with you regarding an acclimation box or adding multiples of two or more tangs together when you introduce them into your display. I currently have 12 tangs in my 600g but I have good flow and a lot of swim throughs. Thanks for the tips.. 👍 Subbed your channel
I'm looking to add a whitetail bristeltooth to my 130G that currently houses a smaller captive bred yellow tang. Am I better off removing the yellow tang for a couple hours and then introducing both the tangs at the same time?
@@pelagicswimmer I am in the United States Florida all the convict tangs here or skinny like toothpicks none of them live more than a few weeks I am trying to find a fat healthy one I don't know where I can get one at
External mic is doing a great job. Loving your videos. Thanks for long detailed clips.
Well done mate 👏

First time seeing your channel - those yellow belly hippos and the sohal are absolutely stunning!!
Thank you, hippo tangs are strange, they have wierd behaviour sometimes, mine also nip at my sps! Sohal tangs are stunning.
So glad my UA-cam threw this up because I'd watched a couple of your vids from Ultimate Reef. Looks awesome, thank you for sharing 😊
another great vid thanks mate.............

I would try an acclamation if you can, box put the white tail in one for a few days and get the yellow used to it.
@@pelagicswimmer Thanks! Do you think an acclimation box would stress out a tang since it's essentially in a small box?
@@shawnriv9 I made my own box from pipe and netting for my larger fish, I don't get why companies make the boxes so stupidly small.
Do you quarantine your fish before they go into the display? It looks like you have a convict tang where did you get the convict tang?
yes I do QT all my fish I use the hybrid tank transfer method. I've had that convict tang since 2017 I'm in the UK they are a common tang here.
