Such an amazing song. The Inside Outtakes has no business being as good as it is. I don’t think anyone on the fucking planet except Bo Burnham could make a whole new, incredible special by himself out of rejected bits from another special that he also did by himself. It’s miles ahead of almost anything else on such a deep, and existential level and he picked it all up off the god damn cutting room floor.
His talent is just…it’s not fair lol.

Yep, just Bo making us become emotionally involved in the age old joke of 'why did the chicken cross the road?'. Legally, nobody should be as talented as he is. Such a beautiful and complex tune, the words are so compelling. It's a joke, yet it so isn't.

Why did the chicken cross the road? Bo answers that very question! This is such a beautiful song, even without the lyrics. Add in the lyrics and it is just spectacular. I would like to look at the hopeful ending as what happened rather than the chicken getting squashed along with her dreams. 3:35 makes me get really emotional with what he does with the melody.
