    Screaming trees, nice. I’ve loved my 2 Edwards…. Les Paul’s 4:07

Edwards make such incredible guitars. I have a black E-LP-113LTC (LP Custom model) that I'll never sell. This one sounds great too, you really don't need to change anything on them considering they already come with Duncans and Gotoh hardware. Enjoyed this video a lot!

The Edwards LP-125 is considered to be between ESP and GrassRoots, its possible to buy this model brand new in Europe for just under 1400 Euros, this guitar is a strong competitor to Gibson Les Paul because I can almost guarantee that its of the same or even better build quality and QC when the guitar is leaving the factory, compared to a Gibson in the same price range, that would be as of today a Gibson Les Paul Studio that cost around 1600 Euros. Also the Edwards Les Paul´s are quite pricy even on the used market. I am absolutely open for buying an Edwards Les Paul, if I can find one for a cheap price.. :D. thank you for another super great video.. :D

Stone Temple Pilots, Screaming Trees, Pearl Jam... I see a pattern here 😁
Guitar looks and sounds great! I also have an Edwards, it's an LP Custom and it's my go-to instrument whenever I have to record something!

Ha! Just got a 56 Gold top in! Great minds think alike. The Edwards has a more coppery look in some of the scenes. Great review.

I haven't played an Edwards but I do know that heavier guitars hurt my shoulder so I avoid them. The weight of a guitar is a big consideration for me so if something's too heavy, no matter how good it might sound, I won't buy it because I know I'll be less inclined to play it. You did a good job of advertising the guitar, though, because you got some impressive tones out of it - but that's really down to your abilities as a guitarist.

Yeah, the weight of a guitar can definitely impact the playing experience, I'm not a fan of heavy guitars as well. Thanks for the compliment on the tones!

Good guitars but the majority of Edward guitars are made in China, just the final setup is done in Japan. I got the information when I was in Japan and went to the ESP CRAFT HOUSE. So those guitars shouldn't be considered MIJ at all. For the same price you can get a real MIJ guitar like Bacchus (be carefull about the MIC and so on stuff, not all is MIJ), FGN (Fujigen brand), Cool-Z and History (made by Fujigen), Greco and Burny (not all is MIJ) and so on.

Thanks for the clarification! I was trying to do some research about the production process but didn't get much info. So thanks for sharing the knowledge :)

That only happened for a few months while the Japanese factory was be reworked , so this statement is false . And anyway , what difference does a guitars geography make ?

I love those MIJ guitars like Edwards, Greco and Tokia but like you said they are hard to find in the states…if you do, its beat to hell and the seller is asking a fortune 👍

Do they suffer from the same common problem of neck breaks/fractures?

    • @DressedInBlack

They might also prone to neck breaks/fractures, just like Gibsons. I think the construction and the headstock angle is pretty similar.

Nice curves, sweet voice. Oh, and I like the guitar too. 😉
