@@RonHenry I think I made a mistake getting the 13" bar (Shortest one they offered). It does not extend to the entire bottom of the rear drum roller on my GM1000. Not sure I can exchange it but either way, at least I can get a consistent measurement....
I just spoke to Jeffrey at ACCU-GAGE and he said he would exchange it for no charge. Is the unit you are using 15" or 18"? Thanks, Marc

Me. Ron, sorry to keep bothering you about the reel mowers, I live in Lafayette, Louisiana which is 45 miles from Baton Rouge, Louisiana!
Heya John. You can probably find a TruCut in your area. You can definitely find a Toro or John Deere but again, the big thing is making sure there's someone nearby that can service the mower.

I like TruCuts John. The most important consideration is what you can easily get serviced in your area. If you’re in the Northeast GA area, TruCut is a safe bet. Lots of people work on them. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
What do you do if it was accidently dropped and now it is at a negative height before you even press down
I would send it in for repair.

Dial for sure. More rugged than the digital and it's a bit cheaper. Plus you never have to change batteries. 😎
Is the gauge only good for 1inch 25.4mm. Are their others who can dial in above an inch to the max height on your toro reel mower?
One way around that is to simply place a 1” spacer between the front roller and the bar. Keep in mind though that most people that use a greens mower are cutting well under 1 inch.
The large dial actually reads in thousandths.
Yep Murf. I should have said thou instead of hundredths. I just thought it’d be easier for the the viewer I was making it for to understand “point 625 inches” vs 625 thousandths. You are correct though. Good call.

Hey Ron, thanks for the videos. I recently purchased a greens mower and the seller threw in the accu-gauge with it. The one I got did not have the grip guard Did you buy yours with the grip guard, or did you install it. I purchased the guard for mine but there aren't any instructions for install. Was hoping you may have some insight. Thanks
Hi Dan S. Mine came with the grip guard already installed. I'd reach out to Accuproducts and ask them the best way to install. They're super helpful and will ensure you get a good result. Appreciate you watching sir.
