In the beginning I thought I'd skip the video at points, but when I realised a masterpiece was being created out of a very basic model I stayed watching in awe.
Outstanding! Love your detail and paint work. Everywhere the exact right amount of sheen. Nothing is overdone and everything blends together to create that awesome "hyper realism". Incredible job on the exposed engines and the wear and weathering! I can almost smell the oil and fuel! Makes a LOT of professional model builders for classic Hollywood movies look like beginners! Thanks for sharing your incredible work!

I had to pick my jaw off the floor after watching this. The detail on the cockpit and engines especially is off-the-charts brilliant. Superb work and thoroughly inspiring.
The last few days I have spent some time watching your videos and I realised you have given me such pleasure that I had to take some time to write you that I love your work. Most of the models I see, even the really good ones, look like well-made toys but your work goes far beyond that. I find every single method you have developed to do things amazing. I like how you always modify the original model adding details yourself, I like how you always spend time to exaggerate the smallest detail (e.g. rivetting) and then how you add by yourseld all the little extra microdetails (eg wires, pipes etc), I like the way you do the weathering and make it look old and used. I think that the main difference of your work from all the others is that you don't use a single key method to achieve high realism. You use all the keys and also, in every single model, you invent and develop your own new keys. Keep up the good work!
zam023 I disagree, although snapfits are in no way an indication of skill level, I think the opposition wanted to make a point about the complexity of the model
I feel that Snap-Fit models would be a good starting point in model making. I'm merely a beginner, my first and only completed model is a Pro Modeler 1/72 Bf 109 G-10 and I feel that if I had started with a snap model, I would've done a much better job.
What a skill! This brought me back to making models as a teenager. It really makes me want to start the hobby again! Your attention to detail and skill are amazing. Thank you.
omg so im fresh back into modelling after a 37 year break and i choose to do a me262 (hobby boss) as its a fav of mine, im half way through it, watched a couple of builds and im thinking well hmmm mines as good if not better then i watched this one !!!!! blew me away !!!! what a fab build chap
Just awesome! What is so amazing is as you watch the video and see all the hard, concentrated effort to show how the different techniques are done for detailing, you can't fully appreciate it until you see the still photos and how realistic it looks. Just Amazing and Awesome!

A great modelling job on a great model of a great aircraft, the first jet night fighter in history. The photos of the actual Me 262B I have seen show the top of the wings and stabilizers to be a solid color, RLM 75. Unfortunately, much of the detailed interior will be covered up when the fuselage halfs are assembled. But at least there is photographic history of the assembly and painting.
Fantastic job, congratulations dude! In my opinion this one is the best airplane you have built so far. I totally enjoyed every single second of your videos of this build.

As usual imaculate build only one issue extremely few 262s had no putty filler or pinking tape on their rivets and panel joins. Even so the paint was applied so thinly almost exclusively over bare metal with no primer that it was visible just as you've shown in your paint. Fantastic job just got motivated to build my Trimaster kit of that vatiant as well as the 2a to go with my 1a I hate putty all over the model though it does help paint the panel lines with RLM 66 to simulate the putty.
I fell in love with the Me-262 as a kid many years ago, and of all the early Jets it has the most beautiful and aesthetic lines imo, and David.... My God young-sir, you do it justice with your skils, your time and your attention to the tiniest of details !!! kindest regards & much respect from Scotland, Paz. PS. I can't wait to show this video to my ol' Pops(he's in his 70's), cos I know his reaction is gonna be WOW :o)

100 hours? You know, it’s possible that putting one of these together on the assembly line took less time, back in WW2. ABSOLUTELY incredible attention to detail! Particularly liked the radar antenna!
