3:22:06 this is a long cutscene including the brief appearance on the map. Once you have gotten the book, you have a chance to get the ship back early. When you entered the turtles cave, the tile before the cave become your EXIT tile. As you didn't manually go to the library (that was part of the cutscene), instead of placing you outside the library, you appear outside the turtle's cave with boko.

For ability points, the statues and bone eaters will be the best source. Hunting bone eaters requires lvl 1 magic and elemental throwing items. Having a party member either be a summoner with throw or ninja with summoning.
