The 11 years old Australian Blues guitar prodigy Nathan Cavaleri performs in the famous TV Show
" Hey Hey It's Saturday " in 1993, just at the time when his first album " Jammin' with the Cats " was released.
Between the age of 10 and 12, Nathan Cavaleri released two professional albums : "Jammin' with the Cats" and "nathan" . A 'must have' for every Blues and Jazz enthusiast !! Visit the Discography video !
He was not one of these usual shredders, he always played with feeling, taste and restraint. Nathan Cavaleri mastered the Blues techniques like bending and vibrato, and mixed minor and major pentatonic scales like a professional, so that he was able to play even Jazz tunes. Robben Ford and Stevie Ray Vaughan had a great influence on him.
Nathan acquired most of his skills on the guitar during his painful years as a Leukaemia patient. Please, look at the "talking about Leukaemia " video.
I think, this should be unforgotten. That's why i have posted this video.
Enjoy !

I remember being a kid & being amazed that another kid my age-ish was musician!! Just such a wonderful musician and brings back memories of when my family would ALWAYS watch Hey Hey. We'd either watch it or record it!!
Aaaaaw gorgeous!! Poetry, spelling, drawing and lunch. The kid had it all from the beginning really! Born a muso. Love Nat Col and the Kings.
I remember watching this on the night..the good ol' days..where is everybody nowadays..I miss hey hey
I remember this when I was 9 and Nathan was 10. Rock on dude !. You got me into guitars.
Wow, for a little kid (or an adult) he's pretty good. I love the way he has all the music trappings happening - silver ring, hair styled and denim vest. Rock on! ⚡🎸
Absolutely Fantastic .. was great to see them have him back on the Reunion SHow.. Love your work Nathan ..
I was just thinking about this kid, (remembering the 90s) and decided to look him up. Remember watching it at the time and thinking he was pretty cool playing the guitar. So then I learnt to play guitar, and all these years later, it's funny to see him again and how young he was.
But he could play, that's for sure. I wasn't sure whether his playing would be as good as I remember, but he's even better He's a legit player, for any age but especially since he's only a youngster.
I was just watching him on twitch in the present , thought I new him so looked him up .
My grandad played with the band Tommy amanyell
