A wise man. This is how us coloureds navigate the white world. We often make concessions to maintain the status quo.

Kamahl is so lovely! I used to have people comment on how pale I was and they were almost shocked by it....for me I didn't see it as racism but more that I am different compared to most other people. IMO, if you are different, people pass comment and sometimes not complimentary comments. This definitely was a stupid thing they did on Hey Hey, but political correctness wasn't as prevalent then.

    Absolutely no
Especially when it's deeply embedded in some cultures and perpetrators of it don't show remorse for their racist past and racist abusive attitude towards those who are different from them

Stop telling victims they have to forgive the unforgivable.

Watching old clips of Hey Hey these days are hard to sit through. That kind of racist sh*t happened all the time on that show, and not just toward Kamahl. I don't understand why everyone keeps wanting to bring it back, and especially not in its previous format.

Absolutely not. I'm sick and tired of being the bigger person.

If the focus of this segment is whether or not he held a grudge, no wonder Australia has as racist a reputation as it does. What the caller said was reprehensible, and others on the show should have stuck up for him. Australia is a white ethnostate as was intended and this man has to navigate this any way he can.

He didn't have to go on the show.
