To be clear this is not a prototype or a possible future tech item, this Robot has been in operation at the France's Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport since 2019.
Thanks for the video! Good work. This total idea makes no sense. After a while you loose the opportunity to park your car. The place saving aspect isn't there because of the new big garages. You don't save time cause time is money. You spent money for using this app. After all you loose and a company wins money for making you unable to park your car. Greetings from Germany. Sorry for my bad English but you get the point.
"but you get the point." nope sorry i don't, I totally understand what they are trying to do, and I do not see how it wastes your time or money, you drop off your car in a large garage so the robot can come and pick it up after you leave and it parks it for you, and since it knows when you will be back it has it ready for you. There are automated garages all over the world, like elevator system garages that park your car, and retrieves it for you. Normal garages with big car spaces will die off over the next 10-20 years as there will be too many people who need car parking. These car parking systems are not perfected yet, but give it 10-20 years and it will be as common as a Tesla car driving itself on the freeway while you sleep on the way to work (google it)
Oh you have a new icon next to your name, first time i've seen it "received one of the highest number of hearts from me" - Congrats to one of my most loyal subscribers, always watches my vids, always comments.
"200 cars a day" that must be a mistake. Anyhow, it is clear this technology and similar are just around the corner and if you design upper and lower levels, the amount of space saved can easily be multiplied five times.
For all those Americans yes australia does have lambos in fact i live in the city (brisbane) that has a Lamborghini dealership search up Lamborghini dealership ann st australia on google earth

Being a biker I don't ever worry about parking
,
Who do you blame when your car comes back looking like it's been run through a trash compacter?
There are procedures for damage.
Imagine how many parking spaces are occupied by those gigantic garages
far less that it saves
Pretty neat.
Can you imagine James Bond using such a service? YOU KNOW THE ANSWER.
you use caps on "YOU KNOW THE ANSWER" so I am sure it's meant to be obvious, but I can't think of it.
Cars get parked closer together, freeing up space for more cars? See how these empty spaces will be filled with car parking robots.
So how does the robot get cars that are boxed in by other cars all around
Nice!
I like this video but I sort of don’t want to leave a like because the video has 300 likes EXACTLY

This is in operation since 2019, it’s in france
3:21 plus a low sports car would be scratched up on the bottom if that thing came over unless it grabs the tires-then its a WHOLE new story
Wow those are dreams and wishes
nope they are reality and are already in service in France.

Good technology to steal a car...
I can do it faster
Like all good tech, this will soon be used by car thieves and porn producers.
This is probably the dumbest use of technology ever
