This game is not bound by the technical limitations that Tarkov has. If they don't fuck it up, this game could be great.

@@TaylorRich10it’s not being developed on an outdated engine that doesn’t receive updates or support anymore, therefore the game will not have the limitations that Tarkov has when it comes to developing new features and fixing bugs.
EFT being built on an old engine is the reason Tarkov will never hit its potential

Just open task manager and check your resources being used while playing. I have a 4070ti, 7800X3D and 32 GB DDR5 6000 and it pushes my PC lol I get around 120-150 FPS at 1440p though

Hold "H" key to quick select medical items, Hold "P" key to quick select provisions. They can't be in safe container on body though.

It's always fun at the construction site, so many quests around it, quests aren't the boring kill that many, clear this.
It's fun.
The big difference with Tarkov is the spotting range of Scavs, when equipped witrh a silencer you can infiltrate far better and stay under the radar than in EFT.
But once you gun down one in crowded areas, expect a horde at some places in GZ.
Tip: Dizzy means you've lost a lot of blood so you need blood bag or if you wait long enough you'll regain blood
I have a 1660 super and no issues client side. Server side has some rubber banding, but its not bad.

Super common bug right now, you get used to seeing people like that after a while.

Disabling ai tweaks in the bios fixed 12% not being able to load the server, for me (b450-F, 2060 super, 3800x, 32gig)

16gb ram might hurt but should be fine
16gb is fine, you'll get some strong stutters the first helicopter ride while the shades load up.

As jp´ tired to say, we have 2024, hardware is not that expensive if you want it to function good, if you value your hobby enough or want to play newest games its the same for console - upgrade.

What should I do if my pc crashes (restarts) everytime I load into a deployment, or the furthest I got was my first heli ride, then it crashed. So it’s every opening of my game. msi 3060ti , ryzen9 3950x 64gb ram, whys this happening. Everyone says wait for optimization but.. they’re playing it at the same time
What is your bottleneck? Check task manager, performance tab and post the usages when loading and crash
@@sirseven3 hey I just checked the performance and just as I open the title screen (didn’t crash) but the only performance chart to spike over 5-10% was CPU. It hit 100%.
How can I alter it so it’s not sitting so heavy on my cpu
@@sirseven3 further inspection shows. I can load into a deployment, however my CPU performance graph touches very high like 99-80-100% back to back so i alt f4'd and didnt crash my whole pc but yeah its maxing out my Ryzen 9 3950x somehow hahaha wth
@@Pmonneeyy that's fine, leave it open and load a game see how it goes. It'll always hit 100% as soon as you open it as it tests the full range of the device.

If you are used to early access games and enjoy FPS coop shooters like tarkov/ghost recon wildlands then sure. It does have its bugs and issues, but there is actually a really fun game there with what we do have so far. If you are scared about performance, it is quite intensive and unoptimized, but most people just turn everything on low with FSR on and deal with the mediocre FPS atm.
If you are okay with compromise, then you will enjoy it.

weird seeing the same people that have been standing by tarkovs side for years saying "trust Nakitas vision" are now review bombing this game because its not quite optimized less than a week after release. Yet tarks been in development since 2012 and core issues have not been addressed.

One of the most annoying things about the gunplay in this game is the amount of smoke that comes out of the muzzle, especially when going full auto. It’s ridiculous lol

Honest question, does anyone else get the impression that these streamers are trying too hard to pretend to enjoy this game? I understand it is early access, but if I saw this gameplay anywhere else other than the videos posted by those popular Tarkov streamers, I would probably close it after watching for a few minutes and forget about this game forever.
nah, the game is good if you like this kind of game. most tarkov streamers wont like this game though since it isnt like tarkov at all really. its much more dayz/squad.
Game is good. It’s also in alpha. AAA tittles have seen worse releases even at full release
Iv already put 25hrs in since it came out into early access, and will keep going until I run out of quests probably. I'm enjoying it.
If you don't like what you see in the videos then you probably won't enjoy the game yourself. But there is a big player base who love this exact kind of game. Everyone in game I talk to says they love it the game just needs some server performance improvements and client performance improvements which is to be expected of a game in its first week of early access.
@@bob101021exactly, the dev team is responsive which leaves me optimistic. I keep seeing it compared to Tarkov, which I can understand given that they just pissed off a lot of their fan base, but there is an 8 year developmental difference between the two games.
I think they're just more hopeful. They probably wanna force the devs into their ideas given the large player base they could bring. Or they genuinely enjoy a change of pace after playing the same nonsense for the past 8 or so years 🤷♂️
The people who say this is a Tarkov killer are hilarious. This game looks way different gameplay flow wise and seems way more boring unless you like being lz camped constantly

bro is out of touch on the specs. Running this on a non 40 series card is impossible without FSR, and it still looks awful and has a lot of latency like that. DLSS is only good on these 4000 series. Even 3070ti's struggle greatly
This game has doo doo performence. I mean look at rdr2 I get a stable 100 in it with ultra settings and I got 70 tops in gray zone on low not to mention the stutters. Without DLSS or FSR i would get at most 50 and to be honest a rdr2 looks better. I don't know chief
Its early access and is not close to being done. I dont see why people are surprised it doesn't run well for some people, its not complete.
@@AbeAlaric the problem is that the optimisations they need to do will most likely be a full rework of loading systems. the stutters occur when stuff is loading in. the problem is that the render distance is enormous so the forests and every single tree and leaf is being loaded in at the same time even if you arent even remotely looking at it. its the problem a lot of these big open world games have. thats why render distance is usually an adjustable option.
on top of them actually needing to optimise settings. playing on everything ultra and everything low barely has a graphical difference and that is a problem. that isnt good optimisation. the point of changing settings is to make the game look worse for better performance. but when you change textures and nothing changes, what is the point? its part of the reason file sizes are usually big for open world games.
Comparing RDR2 to this is asinine in every way.

The longevity for Tarkov isn’t there anymore. They’re claiming they aren’t solvent and need to increase revenue so MTX and predatory tier packs are going to be the norm. Arena flopped, so the player base isn’t going to get bigger. They’ve tapped their niche and BSG can’t manage the finances. The game has a cancer diagnosis and the more players that quit means the higher the density of cheaters, which will just continue the spiral. Nikita sees cheaters as a primary revenue source and given that they can’t manage finances that means they’ll never combat cheaters.
The future outlook isn’t bright, why would any of us keep investing time in a game that’s direction has transitioned to, “Grab what money we can before it sinks”?

@@williamcase426 I and my friends have already uninstalled. Unless Nikita is removed from the company there’s no chance I’ll go back. I’m sure he’s just a figurehead for the rest of a pack of similar-attitude-scum but if they’re not willing to remove him then it shows that they have no intent of ever changing attitude on cheaters or false advertising. The rest of the gaming community has seen this as well over the last few weeks so I would bet money that they’re going to remain stagnant until the inevitable death by cheater density.
