Fun fact to everyone Complaining about how the Thermal is Unrealistic, the devs are aware of this and Have Admitted to the thermal only being a Shader and Will be Reworked in the Future, perhaps the same time Night Vision Gets introduced
Good that they're working on improving the game. Thermal optics also don't work through glass (windows, windshields, the glass in scopes, etc.), so it'd be nice if they could implement that too. A good balance would be to have thermals not work when looking through red dots or scopes, so you'd be forced to use them with only iron sights or by hipfiring with a laser module.

I've had a couple cheaters in my games and they get banned pretty quick. You get a message that says they're banned for 3650 days

These thermals seem REAL off. There's no other 'white' hot areas, that's why it seems so broken. You need the white hot color diffusion for anything absorbing heat from the sun, cars and such should be glowing decently white, especially during the daytime.

the best thermals in tarkov were janked out. In real life you do not get image altering heat from a tree or a wall, stop it nevario, arena should be fun not something like arma de-gamefying itself to please a small vocal minority of realism snobs

You see the problem is that the shader BSG made is not compatible with Unreal engine, so they actually need to implement it themselves. This is why it's lazy and stupid.

Iron sights are definitely usable since the recoil update in EFT. I've been running iron sights on M4s
Better put T7 on secure case if you already bring it out from raid to avoid market tag on the items, so when you already pinned down and try to save your thermal, you can save it on your secure case and save when you died.

Because when ab mobile is full release. I very remembered The thermal scope is around 30k (i forgot the thermal one). And silly me i didnt buy it. now it sitting around 300k. Buy the thermal if it go cheap. Great investment

Progression is good in any game, in AB it’s more expansion of storage slots and unlocking all the keys. It would be nice to have other ways to craft items other than Deke.
Ive loved the mobile version for so long, even with all the drawbacks. Aslong as those patchy spots are ironed out in the end, I reckon I will love this as well

Just figured there would be even the smallest consideration for how thermals actually work. That is one of the biggest drawbacks of thermal usage. The fact that you can't see through glass.

@@dudedavid34 Jesus dude, this is a suggestion to improve the game. I'm not asking for realism in every aspect. This is one that would make the game better. Right now it's basically just a filter that makes enemies glow with virtually no downsides at all. Hilariously unbalanced. Sure it's expensive, but just having cost be the barrier to having an incredibly overpowered item is hardly balancing. Not being able to see through scopes or windows would go a long way towards making thermals not quite so overpowered.

Also buy a ti module then trade it to contacts for a t7 thermal. Then it won’t be operational supplies. Then put it in your rig or composite box before game. That way u will always be able to lockbox your thermals

i love this because its the same shit i do in airsoft but i use the thermal as the optic and i throw 10 ish smokes to make a nice cloud then i shoot people through it lol its so much fun lol

On mobile, and I want you to try this. There is a glitch that never got patched and still is available. You start the match with the thermals in the safe and with you having a helmet for it. In the match you put on the thermals onto the helmet. If you know you are going to die/M.I.A the game lets you put the thermals in the safe. I want to know if on the PC version you can do the same. If this very Same trick is possible. It will save you a lot of koens or save you from hackers from getting them. Saved me from losing them from hackers on the mobile version.
Thermal imaging cant see through any type of glass, look at a window and it appears as a mirror
how does this work exactly? because aren't all the raids in this game during the day? I haven't seen a night raid. They would go blind wearing these in the day time lol is there a way to play night raids in this?

You should not see through scope using thermal like that. IRL you should see heat from glass of the scope. Thermal should be in front of scope to use it properly with scopes

After watching the whole gunfight. He's not cheating, he knows the map well that's for sure. And he heard you coming from the balcony. He has excellent awareness of the footsteps and just knew where you all at. Probably cracked Mobile gamer.
