Gray Zone Warfare is in Steam Early Access and people have been trying to get the cleanest performance/graphics they can!
A lot of creators are recommending you use LOW graphics for best performance, but I'm here to tell you that you DO NOT have to sacrifice graphics quality for performance with this game!

Getting 60fps with FG on introduces way too much input lag. I'm not really sure whether you didn't notice it or just decided not to mention it but it's definitely noticeable, especially for an FPS game. AMD developers themselves said that you should use FG only when you're already getting at least 60 frames without it for it to work properly. Also around 5:00 you're comparing DLSS with FG off and FSR with FG on which simply doesn't make sense. I also have a 3070 and unfortunately we are locked out of DSLL FG, but that's not a valid reason to spread misinformation, you're making it sound like FSR is fundamentally superior when in reality that's far from the truth. If every streamer is telling people to lower their settings it's so they can squeeze the extra frames necessary to lower the input lag that FSR FG introduces, or just get decent frames without sacrificing the responsiveness of the game. I really don't mean to be a dick but these things should be clarified to avoid confusing inexperienced users
FG being locked does makes it a fair comparison. Nvidia could allow even the 20 series to take advantage of FG but they refuse to because they are greedy cunts. To clarify you can get mods in some games to unlock dlss 3.5 FG for older cards. That being said AMD's solution allows you to use FG on any card. It is a fair comparison as long as you also factor in the input lag. The point of nvidia low latency to to help negate that so it's not as bad as it is with an amd card with just fsr fg.

cuz he doesnt know what hes talking about dude. the fact that the devs are saying "use upscaling for best performance" is a terrible look in of itself. i 100% agree the input lag is obnoxious with frame generation on and another big thing i notice with the game is with FG on and using any type of optic, not red dots but actual optics, every time i ads i get like a 20 fps dip and that shit combined with the input lag is unplayable. at the end of the day theres really nothing we can do until they optimize the game to run without upscaling which i dont think will be done in any reasonable amount of time and the game will probably die before it ever happens, all because they wanted to rush it out to take advantage of some tarkov drama when it literally didnt matter because that community is full of sheep that will run right back to that game the second it wipes.
70 fps with frame genertation is literally like having 35 fps in terms of input latency because 35 is your real framerate. In reality the 45 you get with DLSS is actually a higher framerate, those stutters and framedrops are still there with FSR Frame gen, but you just won't see them since they'll be covered up with fake frames.
5800x3D + 32 Go DDR 3600mhz + RTX 4070 Ti --> Dlss ultra perf --> 115-120 fps @ 4K
When I use FSR with high/epic setting I think it looks terrible. I have a 3070ti and get 80-100 fps. But when I use DLSS with super resolution turned off I think the game looks amazing but I only get 40-60 fps which I prefer because atleast I can see beyond 20 meters

Dudes like "buttery" but has a bunch of macrostuttering on recording. Now, thats likely just the recording software taking a hit from all the power being used up by the game. I dont doubt that hes getting those smooth stretches in game. But just seeing it in the video means its POSSIBLE that he could reduce some settings just for better quality of recording. But if not streaming, I see no issue here. This is one way to do it, at least with his current rig.
Not wrong. Haha. If you want to stream or record then either have a second PC handling that load or crank things down to low and do it that way. No way I could stream this game and play at the same time. Which is why I'm happy we don't stream. Haha
I wish at least for now they would add a bodycam filter that would make the image blurrier in a good way instead of degrading the graphics that are clearly meant for next gen gpus when they come out
im having this blurry graphics across my monitor, but when i look at my on stream on discord on my other monitor, it looks fine. do you know what happened?
Just last night, my game started crashing. Now, I can't get it to load. I tried many method but nothing works. I have a 19 14900ks 4090 64G of ram so my hardwares are not an issue. I was able to play for a week and this happened. This is bumming me out. Luckily I got other games to play.

I don't know what is going on with this game. I tryed this settings and a lot more. It runs at 100fps but the annoying part is the huge drops that is happening. I goes bellow 10fps. I have a razor laptop with a 3080ti with 32ram. I cleaned cache from GPU etc.... I made so many things and nothing seams to work

You are incorrect here, The game looks like complete dogwater trash on FSR with epic settings in comparison to DLSS. Maybe you can't see it because you are on 1080p? Also try using a scope on FSR then go use a scope on DLSS. It's night and day.
Been using a 4x and absolutely crushing. While getting great frames. The "look" is subjective. I think it looks terrific on FSR and plays smooth as butter. DLSS looked too jagged and ram at like 44fps. Not for me.
Exactly!!! I‘ve tried both FSR n DLSS. With FSR turned on the game looked really trash pixelated but reached some higher fps than on DLSS. But the DLSS graphics looks way better and played with 80-90 fps. I prefer DLSS. Btw as far as i know, DLSS does not work completely on 30 series GPUs in this game. Thats why he reached only 40-50 fps with DLSS on plus he did not turn on DLSS Frame Gen cause it did not show up in his list i think….All the settings can work so differently cause the game is bad optimized. It really depends on what specs your rig has. FYI: I play on Ryzen 7, RTX 4050, 32 GB RAM ASUS TUF laptop.
@@ToggleLeanPodcast Great frames is also subjective. I have the same rig as you and couldn't imagine playing any shooter with less than 100fps.
Also I'm on 1440p so I'm not gonna even bother with this game until they fix the performance issues. I'd be getting like 45fps with FG which is laughable.
@@Sunbazsi1 He didn't use DLSS to upscale the image, he ran native with just the anti-aliasing part of DLSS enabled. Hence the low frames.

Having a gaming laptop with 3060 intel i5-11300H,
I have tops 20 fps and lag, I tried many things even ur video and I’m still not able to play this game, annoying, Tarkov I get around 30-50 fps, not great but playable… do u have some tips that can help me enjoy this game, I do realize this might not be only the game alone fault, but I tried lots of settings, turn of some non necessary backgrounds programs, cranking up graphics in gaming settings on pc, I don’t know what to do anymore😅
This game is very CPU intensive and your i5 has only 4 physical cores and low clock speeds. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it, since it is a laptop and you can't change the CPU in most cases these days.
Keep in mind the best quality is DLSS off . Now I don’t want to be rude here but your pc Is not that great for this game , you need at least a 4070 and i5-13600k or 5800x3d and 32gb ram . Frame gen add around 40-50fps , amd fake frame gen add more latency and bad quality , so if you have 150fps whit fg the real fps and latency will be around 100 but the smoothness the real 150 . In the end you need a 40 series for this game or you won’t play it well (true native whitout dlss)
With a 3080 rtx Quality setting for Super Resolution for some reason gives me a extra 15fps+ back at base, unless its dire with dls/fsr I always try for quality given its already going to be a down grade using them so why make it even worse.
I'm impressed the game looks nice even at low settings.
That's because it's upscaled from a lower resolution.
5600x cpu + 4070, all low, textures on high, DLSS Quality W/FG. Getting 72fps 😢

He wasn't using upscaling, just the anti-aliasing portion of it and frame generation.

im on a 4090 and i have around 180fps with frame gen and dlss, with fsr frame gen only around 90
