Are Painted Driveways Slippery?

- A painted driveway may become only about as slippery as your garage or kitchen floor. But since driveways are exposed to the weather, the surface won't stay smooth but get even rougher as time goes by. Slipping is not an issue. Though, I still highly recommended adding Quickrete medium or fine sand into the epoxy. The sand will slowly settle at the bottom of the bucket/paint pan, so be sure to dip down and agitate the sand after every other dip.
Here are Amazon Affiliate links to the anti-skid powders I was talking about!

Can you do a video on creating a smoother transition in a driveway that’s difficult and bumpy to pull into…
Good job dude. Do you ever mix a type of liquid dye or colored powder to the paint or just get different paint . I want to do this to my driveway
How long does the typical application last?.
I'm not sure. It depends on what kind of vehicles drive on it over the years. What objects are dragged over it. Whether or not someone decides to use a metal snow shovel instead of a plastic one. It also depends on the incline of the driveway. Another factor would be the age of the concrete and how bad the soil settling is beneath the concrete. It's nearly impossible to say with any certainty and there's very little info online regarding the lifespan of concrete paints. But I would give most a five to ten year lifespan before they really start to look bad and need a couple new layers.
