Man, this is some elder god tier voice acting right here. Tony Jay man, it still hurts knowing that he's gone, man was part of my childhood. Just watching this performance and hearing this passion makes me tear up.
No mater what games came up to now, the Legacy of Kain series and especially the Soulreaver trilogy has set a high standard in attention to story and it's presentation. The voice actors that came together did a more than amazing job even to today's standards in games. All the cut scenes could be put together in a audio book of the series and you would still get the feel and atmosphere of Nosgoth throughout time periods. And the characters, what's to say - these actors did not give the characters a voice, they gave them a soul and real existence that still echoes with every person who played the games.

Michael Bell is just awesome! So good voice acting, actually all the voice actors here in LoK are great, thats one of the best games ever, it has no weak sides.
This game had the most compelling story, and the best voice acting. It drove the game, even when the gameplay was clunky in some of the games.. the story made the games amazing. It hurts that there will be no more to the series and that Tony Jay is dead. If I don't see another good game in the series before I die it will be a tragedy indeed.
And then there were the pops during the recording, when Michael remarked (in an outtake), "Wouldn't that be oetic irony, the biggest arasite of them all." 😆

I feel the same way. They are making a MOBA based on the setting. As a avid LOK fan, Ive played all of the titles, I am not sure that the MOBA will do the series justice.
saucyshadow not a moba, more of a third person hack and slash (vampire) vs third person shooter (human) multiplayer game, it's not bad and adds to the lore of kain's empire and the clans as well as the condition of humanity between raziel being cast into the pit and his return
***** Actually, the guy Blizzard got to voice King Terenas in wow has something pretty close. Tony Jay had voiced him in wc3 and they found a decent replacement.

Ofcourse, definitely. Although I heard David use to have to really try hard with Snake's voice, then after metal gear solid 2, it'd be an extension of him, it only became easier as he grew more and more into the role of Snake and how do voice him correctly without straining the vocal cords. But ofcourse, not just David hayter, everyone else involved to, does phenomenal voice over work, I mean they're just so good as well. Definitely a demanding job.

in voice acting i preffer LOK series but that doesn't take credit over MGS, they really have acting that will take the breathe out of you, i mean who who doesn't want a narrated book with Tony Jay or David Hayter (though im more than happy with one with simon templeman)

The Legacy of Kain series, without a doubt, has some of the best voice acting I've ever heard. The only series that comes close is Metal Gear Solid.

I am not sure about unlocking it on the PC version. As far as I know, about the PC version, GOG adds these videos as bonus content.
