❤ love to see you crocheting again if only for a short time. It brings back such great memories.❤
♥️♥️♥️
I love your Granny Shawl. I also really enjoy your music selection for all your videos. They are so good.
Awe thank you so much. I always struggle with the music, I appreciate you!
The granny shawl was the PERFECT project for that Advent. I thought the Blush yarns advent was pretty while you were opening it, but it was just stunning in that shawl!
Don't look at your numbers - you were incredibly productive. You have FO, and that's more important than logging stitches.
*Never apologize about Tweet Tweet. I have a little Quaker Parrot who sings the blues and has his own theme song which he sings at the most inopportune times. It's hard to take things too seriously when he gets chatty.
Awe - thank you for all of your kind words! ♥️
I enjoyed crocheting the granny wrap so much and just love how it turned out!
I love these kinds of vlogs, thank you for sharing your week of making!
Awe, thank you! ♥️
Your granny shawl is gorgeous!
Thank you so much!♥️
Hi Bethany! Just hopped over to check out your podcast and say hello! I so enjoyed your making week and all the projects you were working on - your granny wrap looks amazing! I got such a surprise seeing myself 🤗 thank you for the shout out! xx
Oh my goodness Ali, I am fangirling so hard right now.
Thank you for checking out my little channel and for the inspiration for this video and wrap! 💛
I really enjoyed your vlog! You have inspired me to start a Granny Shawl today!!! Thanks so much!!
Oh yay!! You will love it, it is such a fun pattern!
Loved the vlog and especially the Granny Shawl 🤩😍 This week, I've finished a fingering sweater 🥰
Thank you so much!
Oh congrats!!! That's awesome
I was just thinking that I’m getting old 😂. I only have a few rows left on my granny, but my wrist and pinky are hurting….trying to keep it slow so I don’t overdo it. Love your shawl. So beautiful!
I can't wait to see you finished shawl!!!
Why is crochet so hard on us?!
Your family is blessed to have you making those gloves! What a labor of love!😊 on the wrap, how did you know where to end a row before starting a new row and not playing yarn chicken and running out of yarn? Because I believe you said you did not want to combine colors on the same row? That design is definitely in my queue!
Thank you ♥️
When it looked like I was getting close to only two rows left, I would weigh my yarn and then weigh it at the end of that row, to see if I could make another row or half row. I did do some half rows (to the tip of the wrap), but only with colors that were pretty similar.
So, I've been looking for something to make qitg my advent calender and you inspired me to make a granny wrap!
I do have a question. Was your advent fingiring weight and 20 grams? I am alittle confused about the patteen though. Is it basically 3 double crochet in each chain 2?
Yes! I had 25 20g minis that I used! (I used almost all of each one, was getting 2 rows per mini at the end)
It is 3 Double Crochets in the space between the previous granny clusters. (first couple of rows do have chains). Once you get into the pattern the only place you have a chain 2 is at the center.
I also suggest chaining 4 or 5 at the beginning of the round (in substitution of the double crochet) so that it isn't tight at the top.
Good luck!
@TheWanderingPurl thank you!!! This info is soo helpful!! I appercaite it!!
