Always enjoy your videos, and I wanted to say I watch till the end! Looking forward to the next one and seeing how it goes with cables 😊 I’m sure you’ll end up with another beautiful sweater!
I did watch your episode till the end, so I know now about your 'secret' project. I wish you all good luck with it. as it is your first cabled sweater, I hope you do not mind I give you one advice : are you aware that when you knit cables the fabric is more narrow then when you knit stockinette. for instance when I knit socks I cast on 64 stitches. if it is a cabled pattern, then I need to cast on 68 stitches (or even more if it is a complex cabled pattern). you inspired me very much to knit christmasdecorations, so far I knitted 3 trees and 5 mushrooms. greetings from belgium
Hi! Such a cozy vlog, love it! I also use this technique for my ribbing and to prevent this little hole in the beginning I first make double stitch (as in German short rows), then rotate my work, and in the next round just knit or purl this double stitch (oh, I was writing it while I watched, and you just said about german short rows.))))))
