I might have painted the side intakes with flat black. It provides a little contrast to the body color & it's a distinctive feature of early Countach's. (Although they might have phased that out, when Chrysler took over)

Yes, the “intake” is on the Power Wheels as well! I was nervous to try to add a contrast color there
Since its been a year how has the painy held up
Really well. There were a few paint chips where the bumper hit curbs, but other than that it’s looks great

Do you have to take apart everything ? My son wants his in matte black with 2 metallic blue strips.
You don’t have to take it apart, but it makes spray painting a whole lot easier
