GSA Sales Government seized and public auctions How to buy and sell cars for profit get a dealers wholesale and auction license how to start a car dealership fix cars make money selling cars How to bank repossessed repossession reposession auctions work Richmond Virginia Auto Auction
Craig, you gotta use subtitles or getcha a little clip on mic or something when you’re at these auctions. It’s really has to hear what you’re saying over the auctioneers.
Well, I would say that 🎤 microphone is not his market. 😅😂
Turn on subtitles
There's is subtitles lol
Government auctions are tough nowadays (to many people in the game). I have pretty much specialized in the stuff for just about 30 years. The only real deals I have been getting is the broken stuff. That's where the margin is at if you can fix the stuff yourself. A good deal of those Hemi Chargers prob have engine noise with a bad camshaft and lifters. I can repair that engine for about $600 in parts in an afternoon. Get the discount on the buy and there is some room.
20 years I got into the car business on the side flipping cars. I became friends with an older gentleman at the auctions and ended up buying cars directly from him. He always told me to look for cars with some kind of problems, that’s where you make your $$ and it weeds out other buyers.
@@dj1698 Absolutely. MY scores are stuff with electrical issues. The government agency usually gives up quickly on the problem and sells them at auction. Examples include, "locked up engine announced" that was a loose battery cable. "Cuts off and dealer diagnosed as a bad engine computer". The engine wiring harness was rubbing on a metal valve cover stud. "Transmission bad", the fuse for the transmission control module was missing. "No crank, no start. We can't figure it out". Had a bad ground to the cluster. "Bad fuel pump", its out of gas🤣. "Dealer put a pcm in it and can't get it programmed", Skim module had a blown fuse
Upgrade that mic to the Rode Wireless Go II and you won’t have most of those audio issues. Best mic on the market man.
Nice. Thx
bid low and slow is how i roll
im really glad the government auctions in my area do not charge a buyers premium. the prices have been all over the past couple of years , some times they are way to high but i still manage to get some really good deals from time to time . many times i see new folks come out and bid too fast and too high
i wanted to see more of that food cart :D
I lose 99% of the gov. auctions I bid on. Many by one bid.
But I never see it as a loss. Merely an opportunity in the next auction.
My boss thought the same thing with buying “government maintained” vehicles. It’s like saying “military maintained” it doesn’t mean a damn thing. Most towns etc skimp out on well qualified garages and go with the cheapest option available in that town. Don’t get over excited by that crap
My first car was from auction my buddy dad had a dealers license and he took us . We just paid him couple of extra bucks for doing it wish he was still around . Really enjoy the content have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
My dad owned half of a used car lot in the 90s. All 4 of my high-school cars were from the dealership auctions. Loved checking those out.
Might wanna invest in a clip on mic, its useful for isolating voice audio in loud environments. Worst comes to worst in a wind storm u cup your hand around it and talk into your hand and the camera will still hear you
I've been doing government and police seizure auctions for about 25 years,, and in my experience, it's the oddball things that I make my biggest profits from..cars and trucks seem to always be waaay over priced,,but now equipment and such, yeah that's the ticket..cheap campers trailers ATV's yeap,,and that asphalt stripper and dump truck oh yeah, both of those would have been mine for sure !! 😆 Cool video thanks for sharing!!
How do you find these dates for the auctions in your state ?
Here is a valuable lesson. In my state you can sell up to 5 cars in a year. My cousin did that and ended up with a $25000 fine. He sold 5 cars in the last half of 2017 and 5 cars in the beginning half of 2018. In my state the law is 5 cars in a one year period, not per year so he was fined $5000 per car extra.
Do you live in Wisconsin?
Damn that’s crazy
Talk about government overreach. Ridiculous.
I'm glad I live in the UK. I don't need a dealer licence and can sell unlimited number of cars. Just watch out for the taxman.
Same in PA
We have these auctions here in NJ. I have a video of one on my page. The day before and 2 hours before they leave the keys in it so you can hear them run. Great video Craig
Hi where is in nj ?
In addition to the buyers premium, there will be a fee when using a credit card. Always show up to the inspection day.
The Kubota tractors are also easy to sell though worth some money for people with a big garden.
Bruh, I drive tractor on a small farm I work in. My boss really needs a new tractor and his ass is cheap asf. He needs to go find a Gov auction.
Craig.. the pop ups. Just tell your editor to put closed caption text on the screen. It would be less work and less annoying than the ridiculous pop ups every two seconds.
Absolutely same thoughts. It is so annoying.
A rural vermonter bought a grand caravan just down the way from the suburban and traverse
We recovered our own ATV's after theft and the police stole them back from us. Said we should claim it on insurance. Supposed to be closed bid, and auctioneers buddy got my just rebuilt Honda 350X. Scumbags!
Always love the fact that Governments has a set of rules for themselves and a set of rules for everyone else. 😖
Nice comment
Yeah no shit they make the rules that govern the nation
Buy one of those chargers with rear end damage. Drive a short trip from NH to Smyth in Massachusetts n come home with a kit to turn it into a Ute (El Camino/Ranchero equivalent) n resell it for big profit
Craig u r awesome a great mentor learning alot from u thanks for staying humble
Happy thanksgiving Craig at flying wheel’s 👍👍👍👍
That was awesome man. Like the whole experience in under 20 min
Happy Thanksgiving Craig. It was nice to watch an early upload especially on thanksgiving relaxing. Craigs making moves!!! Flying Wheels to the Moon 🌑
I picked up a mini tank from a federal auction the same kind they used at Mar-a-largo in the raid. It only set me back 11k and I flipped it to Ben Mallah
Someone watches UA-cam lol
Let’s go Brandon ..
You need to have a remote Mike on your collor so you can talk into the Mike when you're at the auction because we can't hear you with the auctioneer and all the chatter going on in the background.
I go to lots of auctions here in Australia and it is very rare if you can get a great deal here they have heaps of dirty tricks that the auction houses do buyers' premiums are up to 20% and often if the item your bidding on has no reserve and gets only one bid from you then you still don't get a great deal because the auctioneer will start bidding against you ..
Loved the video and the gov auctions are GREAT so do more of them please. Sound effects are fine.
Love these videos. Love the longer vids. Happy Thanksgiving BTW
I like this video. Definitely lots of money being made.
Doing a good job, don't seek satisfaction from people. You got here bc your ideas not others
I absolutely love your videos. By far the best auti trader chanel on yt in my opinion. Sory for my english im learning.
I just picked up an Autotron 3300 for $128.
I've been wanting a induction heater for a while.
$2k retail but I won't flip it.
The key is to never overspend in gov. auctions but I guess that's every auction.
you always see the state trucks for sale a few days after the auction and any fire equipment is basically one guy that buys it all I’m sure you seen his rollback hauling something out of there lol
Can you remove the clicking sound when you add the text? It get uncomfortable when you are on headphones, like your headphones has static. Watch the video and you will see
Wish I’d never read this comment 😁 never noticed it till you raised it 😂
I used to go to quite a bit of government auctions and public auctions through the decades that was before so many people got involved it went downhil there is a lot of fools that show up and they believe because they're at an auction no matter what they pay they're getting a deal some auctions have very high document fee and your deal goes out the window
A voice over would have allowed you to get the info across to your viewers. Could not make out what you were saying during the auction.
I really enjoyed this video would love to find public auctions easier even though you Google search public auctions not all that comes up are find more that's not where in New Hampshire is this
Damn Craig should of bought that charger new body that got hit then start dismantle that car and start selling the engine that engine going to be in high demand now that Dodge wont be making hemis anymore!
Thanks, i must point out that the Audio is Unbearable when you talk at the same time as the auction guy
Would be cool if you could gather the state sites for these auctions
I Live here in NH. How do I find out about the government auction?
Which dealer app do u use to check auction price?????
I live in MA. What part of nh is this auction? How often? What are the deets?
Nice seeing the auction bro ty for the video
Knew that auction looked familiar, I watched the video of the rural vermonter go to that same auction.
Omg watching you launching and loading your boat gave me enough anxiety to never buy a boat😩
Best Auction Video yet!! Awesome!!
How do you find dates on these auctions ?
yup, any time the public is involved with vehicle auctions they are always willing to pay retail plus auction fees. I had to stop going
Some states require you to have a dismantlers licence to take apart cars
happy Thanksgiving. Great content once again. Now go enjoy your family
All those quads come with titles don’t they? In Canada they do, I have 3 quads and they all have titles. That’s really strange.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Get a wireless rode mic for situations like this.
This is very important for me thank you and also happy Thanksgiving 😊
I live in the state of New Hampshire and I have been saving up for quite some time but if I go to an auction I want to be able to have a lot of money with me so I can purchase more than one vehicle I do not have a dealer license or anything so you're telling me I could go to one of these auctions for the public and I could by myself more than one vehicle and it's legal for me to put it on the road and everything and possibly sell one and then keep the other one. Is that legal in the state of New Hampshire?
Thanks for the imfo. your the best
Random question of the day: You mentioned auctions take CCs. What's a typical CC limit for a dealer? Eg, an ordinary schmuck like myself, maybe 10-20K limit. I'm guessing a dealer's gotta have a lot higher limit than that to get anything done.
Great, wish the had them sales in Ireland 🇮🇪 👍
Enjoy your videos this one interested me. I’m trying to get a title for a 69 chevelle bought it twenty years ago for parts but times change and I would like to restore it but Texas is so strict when it comes to titling these old relics was going to try using Vermont loopholes but they stopped due to people abusing the system is there anything you can do in your state. Thanks
Hey brothers what's name or web site for auction like this one? Thank you I really appreciate it 🙏
Cool video.. I've never been to a govt surplus auction, need to check them out here in NC
But now that you mention it is going to start capping the parts to
I love that hunter green charger
A rural Vermont erase just made a video at the same location he got the caravan for $2000
Some information maybe? All of my searches for gov military auctions always ends up with some go between, then, does a full circle back where I started. So how to I get the list that you have?
Our govement department closed down
The vehicles went to auction in Sacramento ca
90% were junk they were sold at high prices our cars were not maintained
Most ex police cars were sold as taxis now left and uber in my city they don't want them.there are thousands of cabs parked for the last 5 years never moving
Score on the quad for sure!
As a dealer are you still limited to 5 bill of sale to title applications per year?
Does that make sense?
Wow.. looked like fun. Government auctions, must be like buying used rental cars - well maintained shit - beaten to death. :P
Plus loved the tip on the small & odd stuff.
what's the name of that app you're using for the value of the cars and trucks is it laser appraiser
Super difficult to hear Ya with the Auctioneer blabbering 3xs as loud lol.
But I love this video!! Thank You for making!!
Would love to have seen what all of the trucks, dump trucks, cars etc went for.
Can't hear you over auctioneers....
Happy thanksgiving ! 🎉
Can't hear what he says because of the auctioneer
Why is the 6x6 the only thing you bought? You talk about all the good deals and all you bought was a quad?
I was thinking that too
Why wouldbt youjust resell it with whatever paperwork you were going to send in for a title& wait 6 months for it back
Awesome video! Nice to see the different auctions.
How did you find this auction? I’m in the nh area as well and would love to go to one
That was a fun video, Thank You.
Hello can u send me inf about action
What state?
That generator was a screw compressor.
Nice👊. I’m going to chummy local state auction web now.
Happy Thanksgiving from South Dakota!
I'M gods messemger my hand on your soul is MY hand 4:39
No title on quads? Where I live if you don't want to get fined out the arse in western ny you need to register them so you need paperwork
Public auctions go high
I’m surprised you didn’t bump into rural Vermonter ( you just did?). He purchased that caravan you just mentioned.
Yeah, those car looked familiar. Rural Vermonter posted his video on that auction a month ago. He bought that 2009 Caravan for 2000.
Thanks for the great content.
Great info could let me know where in NH
Thanks
What is the best way to find government auctions near you?
How do I get your course on "Car Flipping 101"?
I went to a state auction in Mississippi, and I guess because it's a relatively poor state, the vehicles are driven into the ground. Twenty-five year old pickups with odometers reading in light-years.
Graig my name Alex from west Africa Ghana please how can buy this contraction machine's and send to Africa
Love your videos, but this one, while interesting subject, was difficult to understand much of what you were saying while walking through auction
Get a wireless lapel mic, That would make a world of difference.
What kind of dealer app is that?
Why would you sell those four wheelers? Keep it at your lake property.
Thank you for the awesome videos as always. Do you know a good way to find these government and state auctions.
Excellent as always Craig
Good explanation
Get rid of that constant pop ups and sound effects. It’s getting annoying. Otherwise good content!!
