- In this quick video, we're going to look at how to set up a glass material for your game props in Marmoset 4 in the quickest and easiest way possible. The workflow is a little different than it used to be in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
This tutorial is going to work best for glass materials that are fully utilizing the Albedo and Roughness maps from a standard PBR workflow. You've set up all of your color, value, and roughness variations, added some dirt, and roughed it up a bit. Now get it rendered in Marmoset 4.

Glad you like it! Hope it was helpful!
Thank you for making this! Is there any chance that you can have a tutorial on how to transfer this setup in Unreal Engine as well? I have lots of trouble figuring out how to set up a similar glass material in Unreal.
Thanks! I was wondering where the "add " mode went.
I'm trying to render transparent eye shells on top of my characters eye balls in raytrace mode, but they keep turning out very dark... : /
you cant. I've tried freaking everything. no can do. if you find a solution please share
Impressive as always 🤩, THANKS 🍀
But I have a little question, but it’s really important to me:
If you going to add a flame inside that lantern, which way you gana use? Which tools? In any program? And how ?
Can you show it to us , I really need this 🥲
I’m trying to make a candles flame .
when ray tracing on, mesh disappear.. do you know about this problem?..
this is very sad. why they erased ADD from the transparency
Was this with or without ray-tracing enable?
Hi people
Do you know why stripes appear on my normal map, made in the marmoset!?
They are stripes that follow the topology of the model, it was not supposed to appear, only the deformations. The model is all scratched. The model was made in maya.
It cost.
this does not work with raytracing . what are we supposed to do with raytracing ? I've tried everything there is to try.
hi, could you solve that problem?
