Shark Tank US | Will The Sharks Support A Dino Don Tour?
/ sptv
What amazes me is that the sharks were more impressed by him being an advisor for JPark than having a dinosaur named after him
They've heard of Jurassic Park, but they've never heard of the dinosaur he was named after.
But he wasn't Jack Horner was..
Jpark, the kpop star?
no, they meant Jurassic Park
@@DRK0114 no offense, made me laugh lol
I like how Mark teases Kevin for being as old as the dinosaurs but he visually ages 10 years every season while Kevin doesn't seem to age at all
That’s the joke
It's all about the hair line dude...
Kevin’s humor is amazing
Kevin is only 4 years older than Mark
Exactly. Not aging is proof he's immortal and lived with the dinos.
Dino Don Tours is on track to make 15 million in 2021. They've sold dinos to the Bronx Zoo and have 40 new customers lined up
I remember seeing this when it was back at the local zoo after the movie just came out it was so cool
Thanks for the update. I don't need to Google it anymore.😅 That's really good to know.
BTW are they still with Mark? Because I know a few deals that ended up falling apart.
6:17
YES!!
My kids are going to get to learn about Dinosaurs because if this guy and his wife. Great business
imagine if they got a deal with someone else walking out they'd see ''we love you mark cuban'' lmao
I was thinking the same
It's obviously all staged. They knew who was gonna invest prior to stepping in.
theyd probably walk backwards then :P
probably a give away that the show is staged at times atleast
Dino Don would've had to moon walk outta there.
I died when they started bidding on the dinosaur. 😂😂😂
This company isn’t about the money as much as it’s about the kids and entertainment they bring. I hope this company has success.
Kids business are the money in business.....
Hello.........
@@fastbreak0822 woman and kids, that’s like 90% of the spending in this world…..
Very foolish. It's always about money.
Actually they are now. They were about the kids until they seen how much the zoos profit.
The success will come at some cost to their wholesome goal initially
The bragging about her man and the bragging about his wife …. I LOVE IT 🥰
Should always shower your wife off
THanks - she deserves it.
@@donlessem7349 Hi, loved your pitch. People are saying your shirts prove the show is staged because you already knew who would invest but I think you probably just like Mark Cuban and it would have worked one way or another. Can you settle the debate?
I like how the Dino guy put Robert in his place when he gagged
Yeah, shows even educated people can be rude and nasty sometimes.
Glad you liked it. It was fun to play around with him
@@SeaShellsSeaShells89 Hope I didn't come off as nasty. Just teasing actually
@@donlessem7349 Did Mark Cuban end up getting a dinosaur out of this?
@@donlessem7349are y’all still in business
Barbara's mom during labor: "Ahhhhh!!!"
Barbara: "I'm out!"
🤣
Haha
HAHAHA this is one of the few comments that have ever made me laugh this hard
You WINNNNNNN LMAO 😂😂😂😂😂
he is out of line, but he is right
I think Mark was the perfect shark for them. He has previously invested in live entertainment companies.
exactly!
Its hilarious that they had "We love you Mark Cuban" on their backs 🤣🤣🤣
dino don looks like the type of guy that really enjoys what he does
I sure do!
I knew Mark was hot for this business the way he sat up on the edge of his seat like a kid brimming with excitement. That kind of enthusiasm is priceless. I'm really happy for this couple.
This is the best episode I’ve watched so far. So touching when they turned their backs saying “We love you MARK CUBAN” that was so touching
Never seen such a huge confident twist in the history of Shark Tank. Bravo.
So glad you liked it Raj!
Mark is smart because a big venue brings big traffic and everything else you could sell to the thousands of people who came to the venue or simply advertise your other products to them
Precisely!
First thing Mark should do is call up the owners of the Toronto Raptors and sell them a couple of these to put at the entrance to the arena when fans come to Raptor home games.
I agree!
That man has the kindest eyes 🥺❤
Aw, thanks Kierstin. Hope so,
I love how all of the other sharks always act as if the offers are sooo generous. Like they couldn’t fathom why mark was making an offer… what..!? Millions in sales. The things only cost 5k to make so the margins are probably great…they still increased their revenue during a pandemic…etc. I understand they only took home 250k but they are just getting going. Once established, the expenses are gone and they will be killing it.
It's for tv purposes dude. They also edit the hell of this show. Lori could have said wow to something else but they spliced it in here.
@@thesportsguy126 I did think that for a second. But Roberts “wow, that’s way more generous than I would be” was not edited. Loris comment does seem edited tho so I feel you
Not to mention the million dollars worth of inventory
It’s important to remember that having a person like mark cuban on board is a big plus. Not only is the guy absolutely experienced but also has the best connections and will gove them exposure immediately. Networking is sometimes worth more than money. I would rather own 75% of a company with a shark on board than 100% on my own.
@@elyasmohmand6489 yeah that inventory has to be considered valueable/collaterol
2:50 Kevin’s humor is just beautiful 🥹
Barbara: "guys you did not print my name on your t-shirts, for that reason Im out"
I was absolutely obsessed with dinosaurs as a child. I read every book the library had on them and knew all their full scientific names. I still remember when my parents took me to the dinosaur exhibit at the Smithsonian, I was in heaven. This is such a smart business. I would dragged my parents to any exhibit they were set up at.
you and millions of other kdis - you;re right
Me too!
Best product on Shark Tank ever. Absolute happiness.
Thanks Bani- glad you liked it.
Everybody else were out when they heard 500k.
However I think they could get deal for 20%.
yeah thats very silly of them not to counter offer for 20%
So this is what Ross looks like when he grows up
😂😂😂😂
ok you win
This guy's too cool to be Ross
😅
Wish I had his royalties
"A giant business based on a childhood favorite"
*Seeking investment in real life Squid Games*
😂😂😂 omg could you imagine!
Because mark is the biggest here everyone said wow. Respect to Mark.
I love how Lori is scribbling away while being attentive. What a multi-tasker!
Mark leans over to Damon at the end "Hey bro, I will sell that Dino, but it won't be for no 5 grand". LOL
i am so happy that they got a deal especially with mark cuban because cuban is always super involved with all the companies he invests in so that’s perfect for them, the man is a g
it's true, Blake.
They should have tried to counter Mark's offer with 20%. Saw their creations at the Bronx Zoo earlier this year. Pretty impressive.
Glad you liked it Jason. We were so glad he was getting involved that five percent didn't matter much to us
One of the best reveals at the end from a pitcher(s)
thanks so much!
They're trying to buy the dinos 🤣
Im 42 and I remember when these dinosaur exhibits started in zoos 30 yrs ago and I still remember how I LOVED them They were so life like it was so awesome. Smart investment for Cuban. The other sharks were clueless becauseI bothered my mom for weeks to take me to that exhibit...kids will go crazy
A charming couple. Glad they had a deal.
Aw, thanks Sauli - very nice of you
I love it when lori asks "How many dinsours do you have?"
It’s actually good business, even during covid, they had drive thru tour and ticket sold really fast, and there’s so many cars lineup drive thru, I don’t remember exactly how much is the ticket, but I think it’s $50-60 per vehicle
Unless there’s another Dino model tour business, then I might be confused
Kids love it too
Yep I remember they had it in Los Angeles then a month later in Orlando Florida it was in the parking lot of the Orange county convention center
Very true, Chao.
Ohhh I was wondering how they managed but yeah - dino safari!
“A visual is worth a thousand words”
So we’re ignoring the giant dinosaur robots
So happy they bring such creative businesses - Great show!
So glad you liked it, James
I rarely see a B2B pitch. Interesting. And wow this guy's got real passion
Glad you thought so - it's true
This is one of my favourites I have seen on Shark Tank, love the business and the concept behind it.
thanks - lotta fun for us
okay buy Daymond being like I'll buy that dinosaur right now for 11 grand was incredible
Love these dinosaurs. We go see the display at the St. Louis zoo all the time! My daughter loves them
Not our dinos, but glad you like them.
2:46 where a billionaire showcases his sense of humor 🤣
Mark always goes for the bigger the better and I love his take on business!
me too!
Kid's love dinosaurs...True.
2:46 wow Cuban acting like he's much younger than Kevin 😂
His ending comment was so nice!!
His wife saved that deal. He was about to decline until she said we would be idiots to turn down Mark.
He bring 2 full sized dinosaur robots in and Laurie asks for a picture of a zoo smh
Barbara told the producers she's out before filming..
She ran towards the producers and said "hold on just a second, I'm out" 😂
mark already had a deal with them , good promotion platform he knew none of the sharks would go for it . well played
Hmmmm interesting theory
no, we never met the guy and he knew nothing of the biz.
Love their passion even at this age. So very sweet
Dino Don was about to become Dying Don after three sharks backed out.😅 Glad they got Cubes though.
I'm already a fossil
I remember in the ealy 90s going to see DINOSAURSE definitely made an impact on us
Doctor ross geller would be very proud of them.
Daymonds look after the dino roar at 4:31 cracked me up 😂
First, I want to say that when I was a small child I went to the science Museum and all I saw was a large skeleton of tea Rex and it scared me to death. Years later, Just before I went to college, I went to the national Museum of science wait for the first time I saw a REAL life-size dinosaur... I was so impressed by its size and I couldn't seem to take my eyes off of it. I was struggling mentally to believe that this was on the earth and yet, by its beauty alone I had to believe it did. I kept walking around, and around, and around studying it like an artist with study any subject… Which by the way, I am an artist and interior designer.Years later when my son became fascinated with dinosaurs, I painted his wall with a dinosaur scene and I bought him every kind of dinosaur I could and every dinosaur book I could that came from logistic authors & ZOO books and MUSEUMS & then we toured more ....everywhere we could...That had outdoor live dinosaur exhibit and those were hard to find. When my grandchildren arrived it was easier to find those and they were even better and scarier because they roared and they had moving parts and I didn't like those but my grandchildren LOVED THEM❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Those grandchildren or half grown or fully grown. I now have a little grandchildren and those exhibit seem to have disappeared.
Thank you Mark Corbin for giving Don Dino a deal...Children everywhere are going to remember your name because they love dinosaurs and miss him and I have at least for a little grandchildren who I will be taking to your exhibit and their parents to and the other grandparents, so, you're in the money for sure, IF WE ATE A TYPICAL BUYING FAMILY!!!!!!
I wish you the best luck of all because America and beyond needs REAL DINOSAURS....Not somebody fake half sized dinosaur that nobody really bothered to do their REAL RESEARCH ON !!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK & ROAR-R-!!
so nice of you - thanks!
@Vickie Meisinger - is there ... anything else you wish to write?!? Long winded much in daily life, too?
Lmao Laurie's like "since you guys didn't bring me a pop up book I'm out"
She has no imagination. Unless it's a straightforward cheap product she can sell on QVS she's lost.
That’s the point, those cheap products she can sell on QVS is her expertise. I don’t think she doesn’t see the potential of the company, it’s more that she doesn’t see how she can help them, unlike mark, who’s very big in the entertainment industry, so he has a lot of connections and knows the space very well.
That’s probably also why that the owners were hoping to bring Mark as a partner
@@havefunwithadarios340 so once again I repeat, she has no imagination.
@@stefanc4520 So true. Especially Barbara. I can't remember the last time she invested in a company and actually did anything with it. At least Lori has a niche that is applicable to those that come onto the show from time to time. Kind of sad that these people with a few hundred million dollar net worth can't at least hire someone to help them navigate a space they aren't too familiar with, especially when it comes to a profitable company during the pandemic bullshit and a proven track record.
You and the 44 people who liked this would do well to understand Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger’s notion of “the circle of competence”. In short, smart and disciplined investors limit their investments to what they know. So, you have inadvertently complimented Lori and simultaneously displayed your own ignorance. Nice one.
Dino Don, this guy’s voice sounds just like David Carradine’s (Bill from Kill Bill)
I love this idea so much and I love their passion for dinosaurs
glad you did, Kat! It's true
I was at the Philadelphia Zoo last week and seen his exhibit there. It was cool
Lori out here wanting a science fair poster board demonstration 🪧 so she didn't have to think
She is very mentally slow
Barbara : Dinosaurs went extinct so I'm out
Lory: I don't know where they keep the dinos in the zoo, if I knew them, I would have invested.
The look on the wifes face when he barley took the deal had to be murderous 8:29
Yup!
Mark is perfect for them
been true so far
I was geeking out over this
I live in NYC and we’ve had this Dinosaur exhibit since April! I don’t even think I wondered where did they come from lol
Yup, that's us
My grandson loves dinosaurs, if they had a show around us we would go.
Ross Geller: I'll take your entire stock.
While they were at it, they could have sold the dinosaur to Dyamond!
Reminded me of the auction scene of the 5th jurassic park 🤣
8:48…..now that’s confidence 😂😂
Lmao at Marks face at 2:07
Love the way he made robert shut up at the end
That shirt reveal was awesome. So happy for them
So nice of you Dilian.
Lori, there are two full size dinosaurs in front of you. You want visuals? Open your eyes!!!
I love the Dino Don logo with the D
I hope Dino Don and Mark Cuban's team have successfully launched this crazy business!
Great couple....!!! I'm happy for them.
thanks so much Kesington.
Barbara: 'dinosaurs are even older than I am. For that reason, I'm out.'
Aww, a cool grandpa with geeky passion. Reminds me of my grandpa.
This my favorite episode idk I think the child and he loves dinosaurs so much but I’m a adult now and I love them 😂
Awesome reveal! Good thing Mark made an offer!
Yup!
How different this is, by god. I can't wait the outcome of this venture
It's going great Adele - thanks!
Awe I really liked this one, funny because these might be where our local fair grounds gets their dinos for the huge exhibit they do once a yr
I hope this couple succeeds in the future. As a parent I’d like to have my kids to see things like this at the zoo.
It's going great, thanks Eugene
Their only shot was Cuban before they even walked into the tank so lucky for them he bit, otherwise they would've had to back out of that room. LOL!
If you look closely in the screen, you will realise Barabara is out !
this the coolest shit i ever seen
best pitch I've ever seen
thanks so much!
I watched the hummview couple before... and I sensed one hela of a deja vu the first second I saw and heard them
The last thing was amazing, they predicted Mark was good and offered them a Deal 😅.
Those entrepreneurs went back home and found Barbara waiting in front of their house, just to say she like the dinosaur’s idea, but she’s out.
This is just an awesome episode
Shark Tank became an auction place when they knew the price of the dinosaurs. 😅
She reminds me of this ladies of when u used to go to field trips with you 3rd grade class to museums 😂
Bet these are the same dinosaurs that Jurassic Quest used ♥️ I took my kids to one last year
I mean what more could they have brought in.. they literally brought the dinosaurs and Lori is like “if you would have brought a little diagram”… what? Lol
Robert just cared he won 😂😂
